Gancio is my first fully realized hand-drawn font and has a robust character set. Its simple lines and sophisticated curves are contemporary, but recall vintage and retro cool. The font is very adaptable and flexible and can be used effectively in a number of themes. Also included are the dingbats used in the poster art.

Doorkick is my grungy handmade font with rough lines and a squarish look. Each letter has 5 different versions, which automatically cycles as you type - leaving your text with a super lively and natural/organic look. I'd say that Doorkick is best for short words or shoutouts, but try it out it massive text too! I dare you! :)

Corpo Serif is REFRESHED version of my old font Korpo Serif. Corpo Serif, designed by Mateusz Machalski, is a serif type family with a friendly feel. This type comprises 12 variants with 6 weights. The high contrast and high x height is perfect for headlines and display uses. Corpo Serif is a great complement for Corpo Sans.

I accidentally fell in love with type design, and more specifically, the inscription on the historic Bemis building in Seattle. A high waist and great contrast are characteristics of this classic caps lettering that inspired my debut typeface, with additions of 3/4 caps and ornaments to boot. Sturdy is designed to be as black as possible yet still legible. As an OpenType Pro font it has my normal complement of around 500 characters. New to this font I have added what I call ordinals: first through tenth in addition to Caps, lowercase, small caps, lining, oldstyle, and small caps figures, ligatures, and so on.

Norma was my second sans serif. You can find a few details in common with Dialog, but the graphic impression of Norma is totally different.Every typeface has some characters that are the favourites. Criss Cross is a scratchy, scribbly, rough-n-tough kinda font. The idea comes from the many notes I wrote in my horrible handwriting. When I want to stress things, it sort of looks like Criss Cross. Prospect Park JNL was inspired by inline lettering found on some vintage sheet music from the Art Deco era entitled "By My Side". The font's namesake is located in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, NY. Prospect Park is famous for its zoo as well as its tree lined paths, historic carousel and the expansive park area.

Zuider Postduif was my very first font design 3 years ago and I decided to remake and extend it including the Cyrillic alphabet and some OpenType features. Psycho Killer is a song by the Talking Heads. It is also one of my favorite songs, so I figured I'd name a font after it. Weltschmerz, world-weariness… I love the sound of it, so I chose this name for my new font. Weltschmerz font is a hand made Jugendstil typeface which was modeled on a 1910 poster from Austria. College Tantrum is my take on the college font tradition – an edgy, hard working attitude and a proud statement. Who doesn’t like Spaghetti & Cheese? Well, my son doesn’t like it, because he hates cheese, but he seems to be one of the few. Spaghetti & Cheese is also a handmade font: slightly slanted, slightly eroded, yet very legible and clear. It was made with a Japanese ‘Shake & Write’ marker pen. Comes with a generous topping of diacritics.

Lately I have been experimenting with different foods. At home, we eat a lot of Asian food, but I thought it would be nice to broaden my culinary horizon a bit. So far I have (successfully) added Georgian beef and walnut soup, Tacos (after a suggestion by my friend Stuart), Surinam Roti and various vegetarian dishes to our menu. When I created this font, I had to think of Gumbo - a dish I have never made. Gumbo is a handmade display font that comes in a rotund regular and an obese bold (with Italics). Use it for your book covers, product packaging and sticky notes. Gumbo comes with cute ‘end of word’ ligatures - just type the glyph + space and presto: you have a little swash. As for the dish Gumbo, well, I will make that this weekend!

Xunga is a cheerful display typeface. My goal was to design a font able to fit any layout with boldness and playfulness, mixing a sign painter taste in the uppercase and some of my crappy calligraphic reverse contrast explorations with the flat brush for the lowercase. I designed several of widths to fit the page, and though about a different way of expanding the family shifting the horizontal stress axis to move the letter weight in different heights, making a 15 fonts family, suitable for making bold layouts. Xunga has an extended character set for European languages as well as Vietnamese, and shows all its potential with OpenType-savvy applications. Every font includes ligatures, catchwords in discretional ligatures, contextual alternates to avoid conflictive glyph pairs and localized forms to avoid problems with several glyphs and languages.

Auntie Pat is a new script font in my continuing objective of designing scripts that I can really use. Of course, I am looking for readability in booklets. In many ways, Auntie Pat is a very unusual script in that it has caps, lowercase, small caps with the appropriate figures for each case. This is font has all the OpenType features in the set for 2009. I didn't bother with the CE accents (though I can add them upon request). There are several ligatures for your fun and enjoyment: bb gg ff fi fl ffi ffl ffy fj ft tt ty Wh Th and more. Like all of my fonts, there are: caps, lowercase, small caps, proportional lining figures, proportional oldstyle figures, & small cap figures, plus numerators, denominators, superiors, inferiors, and a complete set of ordinals 1st through infinity. I want to create a font, which is very elegant. So I made Danizatti Script, a kind of classic decorative script with a modern twist. This is a display font intended for vintage logos, fashion labels, custom card headers, badges, food packaging designs, especially wine labels. Actually a lot of great style was consumed when creating this type :) there are 300 fancy letter and punctuation glyphs. I also offer a number of viable stylistic alternatives for multiple letters. My goal for Harfang was to create a serif typeface that would be easy to read at text sizes, while having a strong personality at larger sizes. The initial design had a purely rounded style, but with each development pass I introduced some angularity. The final result is a typeface that is easy to read in long texts, advertising copy, annual reports and the like; but one that also provides a crisp and stylish appeal in more prominent display settings. I choose the name Harfang (Harfang des neiges — Snowy Owl or Great White Owl) because after my first typeface, Migration, I wanted something with a thematic relation. On a more personal level, Harfang is the official bird of Québec, a province with a long winter and a wonderful, white landscape, and the place I call home. —André Simard

Graffiti Classic is a graffiti font that blends the improvisational urban quality of graffiti with the smoothness and regularity of a typeface. Growing up in Brooklyn, graffiti appeared to me as an explosion of expression and color in a sea of concrete. Inspired, I became a graffiti artist and practiced in both notebooks and subway tunnels. While I moved on to somewhat more traditional art forms in future years, with Graffiti Classic I pay homage to my artistic roots in a calligraphy marker/tag font. Like my other fonts, the entire Graffiti Classic font is spaced letter to individual letter so that the spacing will work smoothly, in spite of the expressiveness and irregularity of the forms. The Graffiti Classic family also includes an ornaments font, “Taglets,” which has clouds, underlines, arrows, crowns, halos and more to add flavor to your designs.
