Prumo is a new type system, based on a unique skeleton that flows, like a pendulum, from high contrast to low contrast fonts, is a sort of typographic journey, from the eighteen century typefaces to the nineteen century slab serif typefaces, gathering information from the scotch roman fonts on it's journey. Prumo is a type family with classic proportions, that takes advantage of the recent type production technology while looking carefully at the most important historical references.

This slab serif font is inspired by European industrial, machine-made letters. It looks rational and geometric, but optically corrected and balanced. Font was created for Celebration of the 5 year anniversary of Design Studio Box from the city of Kragujevac (KG), the industrial city of Serbia. Girder Poster, also named Spurred Gothic, was inspired by showcard lettering samples featured in the book, Commercial Art Of Show Card Lettering, published in 1945. Although similar to Cooper Bold, Girder Poster's serifs are spurred and the design's inception came out of theatrical poster studios of the mid 1900's in New York.

Binner was designed by John F. Cumming in 1898 and is an alphabet with a strongly historic character. It takes the reader back to the early part of the 20th century, when typefaces of this kind could be found in advertisements on houses and posters. The robust figures display a marked stroke contrast. Particularly striking are the high middle strokes of the E and F as well as the wavy connecting stroke of the H. The curves of the R and P extend well into the lower third of the characters. With its robust figures, Binner is best used for headlines in middle and larger point sizes.

Dripping Spooky Font

Velino is the most recent of our Premium Typefaces. The serif version comes in two packages with three widths: Velino, Velino Condensed and Velino Compressed. The Display package contains high contrast typefaces, with a modern flair, very feminine but with plenty of character, specially designed for fine print in big text sizes. The Text package was designed for any running text. It’s proportions and colors make it the ideal for text, even in very difficult conditions such as newspaper printing. We also designed the perfect companion to this enormous type system: Velino Poster, a Slab Serif typeface with only one weight and it’s respective italic, but with plenty of muscle, for every time some extra strength is needed, like setting very big text, magazine covers or newspaper’s special sections. Finally we designed Velino Sans and Velino Sans Condensed to perfectly match the weight and proportions of Velino, all with matching italics.

Giambattista Bodoni (1740–1813) was called the King of Printers and the Bodoni font owes its creation in 1767 to his masterful cutting techniques. Predecessors in a similar style were the typefaces of Pierre Simon Fournier (1712–1768) and the Didot family (1689–1836). The Bodoni font distinguishes itself through the strength of its characters and embodies the rational thinking of the Enlightenment. The new typefaces displaced the Old Face and Transitional styles and was the most popular typeface until the mid-19th century. Bodoni’s influence on typography was dominant until the end of the 19th century and even today inspires new creations. Working with this font requires care, as the strong emphasis of the vertical strokes and the marked contrast between the fine and thick lines lessens Bodoni’s legibility, and the font is therefore better in larger print with generous spacing. Chauncey H. Griffith’s Poster Bodoni displays characteristics of the advertisement fonts of the first half of the 20th century. The font was most often used for posters and signs, eventually including neon signs.

What’s the good word? This elegant, stylish typeface, based on an early twentieth-century Barnhart Brothers & Spindler release, named simply "Engravers Upright Script". Based on French ronde letterforms, this version is bolder—which makes it suitable for text settings, even at smaller sizes—and has more pronounced stroke contrast—which makes it suitable for headlines. Versatile, handsome and charming, this typeface is an invaluable addition to any type repertoire. Both versions of the font contain the complete Unicode 1252 (Latin) and Unicode 1250 (Central European) character sets, with localization for Romanian and Moldovan.

Moi Non Plus is a wonderful, handwritten font. It has a somewhat chaotic look, but is stylish nonetheless. The name was taken from a famous Serge Gainsbourg song called 'Je t'aime - moi non plus', which caused a bit of a scandal when it was released in the '60's, due to its overtly sexual content.

Bluset Monospaced enlarges the re-worked and expanded text- and headline typeface family Bluest Now with 6 new cuts. The concept for Bluest Now was based, in its original form, on a corporate design typeface by Elsner+Flake in 2004, ordered by the Landor Agency for a large German energy corporation. Regularly re-worked and brought up to modern standards, the typeface is still used to this day. Because of its large x-height and its well-balanced appearance, Bluset Now Mono is also excellent for use in small typesizes. The three Roman cuts, Regular, Medium and Bold, and the corresponding obliques, allow a clear differentiation of base- and display applications for every typesize. This is a digital revival by Cristóbal Henestrosa based on an experimental typeface named Charter, designed – yet never fully accomplished – by the prominent William Addison Dwiggins. It is an upright italic, unconnected script typeface, whose main features are a pronounced contrast, condensed forms and exaggerated ascenders. While Dwiggins worked on this project from 1937 to 1955, he only completed the lowercase and a few other characters. However, it was used to set a specimen in 1942 and a short novel in 1946. The sources that Cristóbal used for Mon Nicolette were the original sketches by WAD as well as printing trails kept at the Boston Public Library, and a copy of the 1946 edition of The Song-Story of Aucassin and Nicolette. This gorgeous typeface can be used successfully in headlines, subheads and short passages of text from 12 points onwards, in applications such as fashion magazines, soft news, advertising, poetry, albums, and book covers. This project started ten years ago, while Cristóbal was studying the Type@Cooper Extended Program at New York City. A previous version was selected to be part of the Biennial Tipos Latinos 2018, and now Mon Nicolette is finally ready for commercial distribution with Sudtipos… and we are very proud of it! New to the Great Lakes Lettering library is Mon Voir. Mon Voir is the signature lettering style from Jenna Rainey a talented calligrapher and illustrator and the artist behind Mon Voir studio.

Olympus Mons is a geometric display font, characterized by sharp edges and straight lines, designed to support all European languages. It is intended to be used for headings as well as smaller information, by brands associated by masculinity, power, and ambitious goals.

Belinda New is an updated version of the original Belinda which I designed in 2011. Belinda New is a smooth and lining brush script font with a vintage and retro feel. It has two sets of uppercase and many alternates for lowercase letters. It is a good choice to use in logos, headlines and packages. You can also match it with a serif or sans serif fonts and use it as a secondary font in web design, magazines and branding.

A Bitstream version of News Gothic that was created by Morris Fuller Benton for American Typefounders and first appeared in 1908. There is the standard American sanserif of the first two thirds of the twentieth century with narrow proportions and a large x-height. Despite, or perhaps because of, the font’s unconventional relationships in proportion and form, News Gothic has long been a popular typeface for almost any use. Cyrillic version developed for ParaType in 2005 by Dmitry Kirsanov. Greek extension designed by Dmitry Kirsanov in 2009.
