This is a curvaceous playful casual upright display script (the name inspired by Tibetan yak butter) and is unique due to the tall ascenders and cap heights combined with a small x-height and small cap height. Due to these variations I designed different heights of quote marks for visual consistency. There are five weights and multi Latin language support. This font is perfect for lingerie catalogs, gorgeous cookbooks, curvaceous branding and logo design, callipygian magazine heads, sumptuous restaurant and food designs, flamboyant word poetry and more.

Burlington was designed by Alan Meeks in 1985 and is a decorative typeface in the neoclassical style of the middle of the 19th century. Characteristic of faces from this time is the low x-height, which makes the font look as though it is reaching upward. This combined with the white areas in the strokes give Burlington a light, airy feel. The elegant Burlington is particularly good for headlines and can also be used for short texts in point sizes of 12 or larger.

Gazpacho is inspired by the serif typefaces used in editorial media in the 70s and 80s. The morphology of the letterforms makes this typeface ideal for display purposes like logos and big, bold headlines. Also, thanks to its large x-height it works perfectly on headlines with tight leading. On the other hand, its high contrast and very simple and recognisable shapes makes it highly readable, so it works on small, long texts as well. It comes in 7 different weights and 2 styles (Standard & Italic).

The Sommet series has been updated with a rounded variant. Sommet rounded retains its predecessor's high-tech web 2.0 character but features blunted terminators, making for a much warmer and friendlier impression. Sommet Rounded features a tall x-height, and its letterforms are compressed, perfect for when layout space is at a premium Sommet Rounded can be easily mixed and matched with its non-rounded relative. Linotype Boberia is part of the Take Type Library, which features winners of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contest. Designed by Bo Berndal, its historical roots lie in the neoclassicism of the turn of the 20th century. The slender letters with a large x-height and marked stroke contrast give the font an elegant character. The nostalgic, flowing forms are typical of Art Deco fonts and allow designers a number of possibilities for the font’s use. Boberia includes regular, italic and bold type styles.

The inspiration for SJURecord was calligraphic lettering used for the title of a student newspaper, St. John’s Record, during the late 1920s and early 1930s. The three upper-case and nine lower-case letters were considerably different from any calligraphic lettering I had developed, so I thought creating a complete typeface around these twelve letters would be an interesting challenge. The SJCRecord family has four members: regular, oblique, shadowed, and oblique shadowed. There are alternate letters for A, J, L, S, V, W, and X.

Neuron puts a chemist's twist on standard block-style print to create a fresher version of the elemental alphabet. Widely spaced letters and a slightly tall x-height have a clean effect for great readability. Squarish shapes are stylized to retain curved tails, achieving a neutral appearance that makes it very versatile. A thick width in ExtraBold, Black and Heavy give stand-out strength for headlines and branding, without affecting legibility. Rambla Alt is a variation of Rambla, which has certain modifications without altering its main structure (Rambla is also available in Myfonts). For this reason Rambla Alt is great when used together with Rambla. Rambla Alt is a humanist sans for medium-long texts. It’s slightly condensed, with a generous x-height and short ascender/descenders. Its proportions have the objective of gaining space in height and width. It’s elegant in large sizes and legible at the same time, with a lot of rhythm in small sizes.

Submariner waterproof sans serif technology Submariner is a waterproof type family that displays the right amount of power and character on every depth level. Thanks to its strong and humanistic construction, it can endure great information pressure. It is a marvelous typographic experience. The letter construction is more open and endings are slightly wider. It is suitable for longer texts, information graphics, annual reports and signalization. The typeface’s x-height is exactly 70% of its capitals. The italics are designed at a 9° angle.

Eleven out of ten typographers have confirmed that Tabac Big Slab can be used both on the facades of majestic villas and on the most ordinary typesetting of labels and medication package inserts, where it saves both space and tired eyes. Even width compression doesn’t take away from the typeface’s well-distinguished characters, while its huge x-height optically enlarges typesetting in small sizes. Aside from the lightest weights, we can recommend Tabac Big Slab for all applications where there is a lack of space or paper.

Tarocco is a typical book face with good readability and rather tall x-height. The origin for this typeface is found in Nordisk Antikva. A typeface especially constructed with attention for the Swedish language. Waldemar Zachrisson was determined to realize his ideas and in 1906 he began to cooperate with the foundry Genzsch & Heyse, based in Hamburg. Some influences of Jugendt can be found and the typeface were released in 1910. It became rather popular until around 1930. The MRF version includes 7 weights all together.

Brandon Text is the companion of the famous Brandon Grotesque type family. It has a higher x-height than the Grotesque version and is optimized for long texts, small sizes and screens. This special Office version of Brandon Text is especially for all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint …). Transat Text is a geometric sans serif typeface, and is the more rational sibling to the unabashedly Art Deco "Transat". Transat Text has a slightly taller x-height than its counterpart, making it easier to read at small sizes, but also performs admirably in larger display settings. Sivellin is an elegant brush script with a lots of alternates, swashes and small caps. All in all it has over 1,300 glyphs. Sivellin has round and soft letterforms, low x-height and quite a generous spacing to get that elegant and very legible result. Because of all the alternates Sivellin is a very versatile script font. It can look very straightforward or with added Swashes very flamboyant. Or something between. It gives you options to customize your typography and designs the way you like.

ITC Fontoon was designed by Steve Zafarana of the Galápagos Design Group in 1995. Along with ITC Fontoonies and ITC Gargoonies from the same designers, it is the perfect text font for cartoons and comics. Slight irregularities in stroke contrast and basic forms distinguish ITC Fontoon and make it look like printed handwriting. Afrojet Type Foundry presents Sessions, a heavyweight modular typeface with a quirky personality. The design is a fresh reimagination of Joseph Albers' classic Kombinationsschrift alphabet. It utilizes modular, repeating stylized forms to bring dimensionality and personality to the page. Sessions takes advantage of OpenType’s Stylistic Alternates feature with: two numeral options (cap-height and x-height), the option to ‘turn off’ the splayed bottoms of certain glyphs, and numerous alternate characters. Kwersity is a boxy, geometric, slab-serifed typeface with strokes of uniform weight. Its circular elements are almost rectangular. The narrower style has a high x-height. Both the narrower and wider variants come in three weights, regular, semi-bold, and bold. (In its original, pre-2020 form, what is now semi-bold was bold. What is now bold is new as of 2020.) There is also a shadow version; Kwersity-semibold can be layered on top of it to color the interior of the letters.

Curve is a modern neo-classical typeface family with some features of the Didone genre, but especially designed for contemporary typography. A large x-height not only creates space in the letters for extra-bold styles, but also lends Curve an open and generous character in the more narrow and semi-bold versions. It has 616 glyphs with small caps, numbers and ligatures in 10 weights. Curve is a contemporary serif typeface, special for logos, brands, magazines and editorial and for setting trends in fashion and design.

Sierra is an antiqua with a high x-height and generous, open counters. Many curves of the letters are almost right angles, which was particularly suited to the Digiset machines from Dr. Ing. Rudolf Hell, Kiel. The forms of Sierra with their flowing stroke contrast and half serifs have a calligraphic touch, which is especially highlighted in the italic weights. This is a graceful text type and its bold weights look almost like woodcuts. Sierra is an excellent choice for both texts and headlines.

Biennale is a geometric typeface with a strong character and a large x-height which make it an excellent choice for a wide range of applications, such as headlines or branding. Although common in style, Biennale distinctive details and color on the page allow users to create really unique designs. The font comes in 11 weights, from Hair to Heavy, and includes matching italics. As you would expect from Latinotype, this typeface comes with a standard set of 417 characters that support over 200 Latin-based languages.
