A chunky dressing may not sound very delicate, but I remember my grandmother used make a very chunky dressing for the mashed potatoes. I really loved it - actually I wish I had the recipe so that I could reproduce that particular consistency. But instead I made this font in memory of that lovely chunky dressing! :) Chunky Dressing has got a little Garamond in it, Baskerville as well - and even a touch of Times... Each lowercase letter has 5 different versions and they magically cycles as you type, leaving your text very lively with a natural twist of energetic and organic look

DRUMBEAT, a brand new face from Edy Type, coming to help resolve the necessities of loose scripts in Packaging and Editorial Design. Its' very particular thicks and thins and ups and down, makes it very suitable whenever informalities is required. Used with tiny little characters, enlarged to mammoth sizes or filling a large page with it, would show it’s perfect balance and color, almost as if where hand writen. In fact, a truly different script, a graphologist would declare that is written by a person very sure of what he wants, and besides and best of all, it’s pretty.

Cavita Rounded typeface is a mix between both grotesque and calligraphic models: regulars have a rough grotesque spirit, while the italics where inspired in calligraphic gestures. All of these details are reinforced with an inverted modulation (horizontals strokes are thicker than usual). The italics seem to move away from the traditional concept of type system, but work very well alongside. This typeface has very particular shapes and rhythm, itís different and identifiable from the rest, making it a very good option to use on any piece of design. Cavita Rounded is designed as an upgrade Cavita.

Andove is a narrow sans font with very tight compression. With a slim character and a fairly large x-height, Andove looks great for very large and eye-catching typesettings. The one-sided serif in ascenders makes this font very unique and stands out to show it is sporty and strong enough. What's even more interesting is Andove has a true italic on each weight so it can be an option for really big headlines and poster title. This is a series that takes unfinished typefaces that were either previously ideated but not realized or were close to completion but left incomplete due to dissatisfaction with certain aspects, and brings them to completion. "Oorrnnoott" was originally a project named "Petitgothiquemignon" or "Sangoth". In the process of refining "Kropotokin", several ideas were incorporated into the design. Well, I say "incorporated," but it was designed on a whim, as usual. After all, it was started around 2005, and I don't usually leave notes or anything (which isn't the best habit), so I don't remember the emotions or thoughts behind its creation. Please consider this typeface as a very typical sans-serif font, as that is what I was aiming for when I excavated it this time. Please use it for body text, headlines, eye-catching designs, or whatever you like.

The initial inspiration for CA Spotnik was the opening title of an early Andrei Tarkovsky movie. There was this very unconventional hand drawn “s” which drew my attention. Despite its strange shape, it felt totally natural in that context. So we made a few screenshots and started to sketch some more letters in order to catch the spirit that attracted us so much. The result is a grotesque typeface with a slight contrast, the proportions are rather wide with a large x-height. The bolder the weight, the wider it gets. In case you find the swirly “s” uncomfortable, there is a standard s included as well. The general atmosphere of the typeface, which could be described as “nerdy but friendly” doesn’t depend on this detail. It’s rather the sum of details derived from the original inspiration.
