As a kid I used to write my favourite football teams name with 3D letters over and over again. I spent hours doing this - often to find out I had the colors wrong, or I had made a spelling error or two - but now, several years after, I have created the "Like a cat" font - so that you can make "handmade" headlines or funny quotes or even your favourite football teams name in a swoosh! If you get the colors wrong, or you make a spelling error, it's fast and easy to correct! :) Like a cat comes with substitution characters for double letters!

An ad spotted in a 1960 issue of Billboard magazine promoting a 45 rpm release by Randy Lee doing the old song "Did You Ever See A Dream Walking?" featured the song title in a casual, brush lettered style. Frozen Memory is a heavy-boned cartoon display font. Even though it was completely made by hand (using a roller ball pen and some quality paper), it has a clean look, crisp lines and generous curves. Frozen Memory comes in three distinct styles, helping you to create versatile designs. Frozen Memory urges you to eat more ice-cream, but just beware of that brain freeze!

I made Cut Along by stealing some red cardboard from my kids (red, because they didn’t have any black…) and cutting out the glyphs one by one with a pair of scissors. I then pasted the shapes onto white paper, scanned them and turned them into a font. Cut Along is a very nice font for ads, book covers, packaging and children’s books. Enjoy!

I keep chickens for eggs and meat, but the ones that have names cannot be eaten. ;-) As I was busy working on this font, the chickens were sitting in the window, looking at me and hoping they'd get a treat! Pecking Order is a cartoon and kids font. It comes with a wholesome, homemade goodness and extensive language support, including Sami, Greek and Vietnamese.

A little ditty from France circa the 1940s called "J'ai Rêvé Dans Tes Bras" (which loosely translated means "I've Dreamed in Your Arms") offered up its title hand lettered in an interesting Art Deco sans. This formed the basis for French Pastry JNL, a tasty typographical tidbit further preserving the wide choice of lettering styles hand-crafted for popular sheet music of past decades.

Running Hipster is a tall, thin and all caps font with a funny name. The upper and lower case letters differ and can be mixed. Mono-Spec is a monospaced family of sans-serif type. At least in default settings, all characters across the typeface share a common width. That fixed setting is condensed, and the aesthetic style of Mono-Spec’s letterforms is very industrial. A sister family, called Mono-Spec Stencil, is also available. Its design strays away from the mechanical nature of Mono-Spec, and it channels the spirit of resistance and street culture. Mono-Spec ships in two different formats. Depending on your preference, you can install the typeface as a single Variable Font or use the family’s five static OpenType font files instead. Those weights run from Light through Bold. While the static-format fonts offer a good intermediary-step selection, users who install the Variable Font have vastly greater control over their text’s stroke width. The Mono-Spec Variable Font’s weight axis allows users to differentiate between almost 1,000 possible font weights. That enables you to fine-tune your text’s exact appearance on-screen or in print.
