Bitblox fonts are based on the lettering created for Glyfyx’ eponymous wooden alphabet blocks. The characters are inspired by the low-res bitmap lettering seen on early generation computer devices. The Bitblox family consists of eight pixelated fonts, including a trio of styles that stack up to create a colorful, dimensional effect. An extensive multi-styled dingbat collection is also included. The Bitblox lettering was designed by James Beall with PSY/OPS Type Foundry, for Glyfyx Inc.

Bauen (worker in German) is a tribute to the Bauhaus school that has just completed its first centenary and whose ideas are still relevant. It is a geometric typeface inspired by the sans serif typefaces prevailing in those years, and whose cradle resides in the Bauhaus school. It has a wide language coverage, and a generous range of OpenType functionalities, to make it an all-rounder for our day to day, and especially for corporate use.

The Linotype Technical Pi font includes a variety of characters for technical areas, especially for the field of electrical engineering. Among other symbols are those for AC and DC, certifications, and a number of others which illustrate technical terms, warnings and information. Technical Pi also includes the modern symbols which have become a part of everyday life, like environmental and recycling characters. General characters like fax and telephone symbols complete the symbol palette of Linotype Technical Pi.

Matogrosso is another rough script from Argentine calligraphy team Koziupa and Paul. With its expressive urge at the importance of discovery, it is ideal to use on wine labels or organic food packaging, stationery and old maps. It also makes a great choice for designs relating to outdoor activities and rugged travel, where the concept of the wild is to be accentuated. Matogrosso's OpenType programming combines several alternate lowercase characters to generate perfectly fit and more natural textures.

Terrorista is a homage to everyone who fought against the Millitary Regime in Brazil from 1964 to 1985. The Terrorista Marighella features generous inktraps, fits perfect for small sizes. Terrorista Dilma has the same design as the Marighella, but without inktraps, made for display. The last typeface from the package is Terrorista Lamarca, stencil version, all three weights have the same metrics, making it easier to use them together. Have a look at the Terrorista Specimen.

Crowd Funded fonts wasn’t really crowd funded… In fact, all of the funding came from me, as I had to buy paper and a new pen to get this font going! Crowd Funded is an all caps display font, which I based on a recent font of mine called Longreach. Crowd Funded is narrower and rounder than Longreach and, in a way, more delicate. It comes with a generous amount of diacritics and basic Cyrillic as well!

Worker is a versatile family of geometric fonts with a sturdy industrial feel. It has a vintage flavor and conveys a professional and technical look. It has 5 styles with matching slants and a generous language support. Worker works very well in branding and headlines, but also renders peculiarly well in short strings of text. Use for headings & subheads. Miss Donna Black Caps contains capitals in two sizes and this gives you the ability to generate text of two types: - a correctly spaced and kerned upper case, OR - a TRUE Small Caps -- as opposed to the false Small Caps produced by a well-known word processing application. In a correctly proportioned Small Caps the stroke width should not be reduced in the same proportion as the letter height is reduced. The stroke width of the small capitals should rather be equal or close to the stroke width of the corresponding upper case characters. Note: When using script fonts it is NOT usually advisable to use text in ALL caps. The best effects for headings and subheads are obtained with an initial upper case letter followed by lower case characters. BUT, Miss Donna will still produce excellent results with all caps if you are using an application that supports kerning. If you are using upper and lower case then it is not necessary to use kerning, although it may make a slight difference on occasion. Miss Donna contains over 235 characters - (upper and lower case characters, punctuation, numerals, symbols and accented characters are present). It has all the accented characters used in the major European languages.

A girl’s handwriting written on the iPad Writing changes – throughout history over centuries, but also from generation to generation. Each new generation of students learns to write the basic forms of the letters a little differently than their predecessors. The role model is also changing. The cursive handwriting taught in school is getting closer and closer to printed type. The children no longer learn the forms of cursive handwriting required for connected writing, but first the “block letters”, only later should they develop their own individual handwriting from this, which many of them no longer do. And the writing tool is also changing. Of course, script looks different when children no longer learn to write on paper with a fountain pen, but on a tablet computer with the “pencil”. The writing experience is completely different, and the “material properties” are different too. There is practically no writing resistance that would make it difficult to move against the direction of writing. "Die Lara" was created based on the template by Lara Mörwald from the winter of 2023. The font version "Black" corresponds to the handwritten original, all thinner variants up to the wafer-thin "Hairline" are derived from it. In the variable font, the intermediate forms can be selected steplessly. In order to preserve the handwritten character of the font, "Die Lara" contains several alternates to most letters and numerals, so that different character forms alternate in the typeface. If the "ligatures" function is activated in the app (which is the default in most programs), these alternates appear automatically as you type. There is also an alternative "swashed" variant of some letters. So you can set somewhat livelier accents at the beginning or end of a word. "Die Lara" also contains fractions and tabular figures.

Classica Pro by Bernd Möllenstädt A real alternative for letterpress printing A masterpiece It was only after many years, shortly before the end of his life, Bernd Möllenstädt brought out these early drafts of his Classica Light and Light Italic from his drawer, and asked me to produce for him on the computer a Bold and Bold Italic, from which we later wanted to interpolate further cuts like Regular and so on. The boldening of letters with an oblique axis and with hairlines which should not grow to the same extent as the general line widths, is hard to cope with perfectly, even for the smartest computer program, and even more so, when it concerns an as complicated set of data as those conceived by Bernd. The automatically generated result could therefore only be a first step that had to be improved manually later. This was about the stage that we had reached when Bernd died in March 2013, leaving me behind with comprehensive corrections on proofs of this automatically generated Bold. Although I was aware that it would mean a lot of work to complete the project, I did not want to leave it unfinished and decided to finalize and publish the Classica, also in Bernd‘s honor. In the course of the two years that I worked on this font family it somewhat naturally became also my own. New details were added and some of the existing changed. A book typeface requires the supreme and forgives rarely, it represents a true masterpiece. My intention and my ambition were to create a real alternative for letterpress printing, with a font family that contains all the typographic options for an excellent typesetting, and is better readable and has a better appearance than other existing typefaces. Trapped home during the Coronavirus outburst of March 2020 the Zetafonts team found some solace from the world-wide anxiety by designing letters for the #36daysoftype challenge. To fight dark thoughts and spread some good karma we decided to add a free font twist, selecting the best glyphs drawn to develop a collection of ten free typefaces for download. We did our best to make this little gift to the community valuable, though developed in record time: although playful and excessive, these typefaces all stem from our current research in contemporary trends and historical design solutions, bridging calligraphy and design. The typefaces have been published daily starting Monday, March 30. You can download and use the typefaces in any way you desire, as they are totally free for commercial and non-commercial use. We are not asking anything back, but feel free to share the good karma and, if you want, please consider a donation for hospitals.

Sharplion is a typeface family designed by Zeki Michael and Leyla Melis Aslan. CA Texteron is a modern text font family to cover the most common typographical needs with a minimum of weights. It is aiming for a serious but unconventional look, which is achieved by combining round and edgy forms in the same font, often in the same glyph, and by using Humanist and modern form-principles at the same time. It merges classical type-design with an experimental spirit. CA Texteron combines elements of the dynamic renaissance principle with the static neo-classic style, which makes it hard to classify. The result is a post-modern hybridization. The Regular weight works best in text size, and with more letter-space also for footnotes. The low contrast makes it robust and legible even in very small sizes. Bold, Italic and Small Caps are intended for emphasis. Bold, Bold Italic and Heavy make good headlines, that reveal the unconventional details. The Italic is not just a slanted version of the Regular weight but has individual forms and typical italic characteristics.

Introducing Korde Typeface Korde font is designed with a retro style concept that has a unique and cool shape. It is suitable for header text fonts, book covers and designs that have a retro elegant concept, besides that Korde font is also very good when used for body text. Korde font has 26 families from Thin to Heavy and Condensed. Sans Serif typefaces such as “Korde typeface” are very easy to apply to any design, especially those with an retro and classic concept, besides that this font is very easy to use both in design and non-design programs because everything changes and glyphs are supported by Unicode (PUA). The Korde typeface contains 549 glyphs with many unique and interesting alternative options. Plus, there's a cool sans serif font family for header and description text from thin to heavy and thin condensed to heavy condensed. In the poster preview all the letters are in the Korde typeface.

June is a contemporary neo-grotesque sans-serif typeface designed to be highly legible, readable, and usable. The clarity and mathematics were inspired by the research into type form by Adrian Frutiger. June was designed by developing a modern and unique approach to his findings. June's legible features include a near uniform stroke width, open apertures and counters, angular cut stems, and a large x-height. Italics are angled at eight degrees and have been redesigned to provide a stylistic difference without reducing legibility.
