A literary font FS Neruda takes its name from Chilean poet Pablo Neruda, described as “the greatest poet of the 20th century in any language”. As such, it’s a font that references the very best literary typeface traditions. Smart, sharp and classical, FS Neruda bridges the gap between the classical and the offbeat. This font started life in the world of newspapers and books and is the perfect storytelling typeface for savvy, inquiring readers whether in printed journals, hard news, short online missives or poetry. Font designed after that used in Brehan-Loudeac (Britanny, France) by Robin Fouquet and Jean Crès in years 1480s to print a lot of texts and books. This font include “long s”, naturally, as typically medieval, and a few special characters and abreviations, also some variants, like for “d”, “r” or “v”. The small “y” is accented, just like in British alphabet of the time, though the texts were printed in French. Added, a lot of accented characters no longer existing on this time. A render sheet, in the font file, makes it more easy to identify on a keyboard. This font is used as variously as web-site titles, posters and flier designs, editing ancient texts... all you need. This font supports easily as large than small size, remaining readable, original and pretty.

Make no mistake, Maritime Champion is not simply seaworthy. This peacoat grubbing, all hands on decking, accordion serenading font is not for the faint of heart. He’s all caps all the time. Even the lightest of his six weights is enough to anchor a Man-o-War in any Caribbean maelstrom. This stencil set includes four weights to accompany the existing four shoreline styles and six regular weights. It’s an all caps family that includes lots of language options and opentype fractions.

Letuncial is a sans-serif typeface in which the shapes of the letters are derived from uncial, a writing style in the early medieval period. Like uncial, it has no true upper-case letters. Rather it has two sets of letters that are interchangeable. Fonts Letunical Inline Overlay-Middle and Letunical Inline Overlay Inside are designed to be layered with Letunical Inline to produce bicolored or tricolored letters and Letunical Shadow Inside is designed to layered with Letunical Shadow to produce bicolored letters.

Ishtar was the Babylonian goddess of war, fertility, love and sex - all in all a lethal combination. She wasn't the sweetheart her lovers had hoped for; I guess the 'war' part in her resume is a dead give-away. Ishtar font is no sweetheart either: it doesn't have a real baseline and its spooky character might not be everyone's cup of tea. It does have a certain charm, however, and befitting a Babylonian goddess, it comes with Babylonian language support!

Cutlass was just for fun. A year ago or so [2009, maybe], someone on typophile showed a scan of the word "Ciruelo". I liked it. Those were the only letters I had and no one ever came up with the name of the original font that I saw. It doesn't matter as I went far afield as I designed, as usual. It's just a swashbuckling bit of fun. OpenType 476 Glyphs from my usual set minus the superior and inferior figures. Enjoy!

Crayonize is a casual handwritten font with a fresh crayon look, available in two weights. And now something completely different. Keks has broken elements like a blackletter typeface, but the actual forms are roman. That keeps it very legible although there is no curve at all. What was the inspiration for designing the font? Blackletter has an interesting history here in Germany. We need to find contemporary interpretations for this tradition. What are its main characteristics and features? Legible roman blackletter Usage recommendations: any usage that needs a black letter athmosphere where legibility is important.

Linotype Graphena is part of the Take Type Library, selected from the contestants of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. It is a handwriting font designed by the Italian artist Giancarlo Barison. Consciously irregular and erratic, the letters dance across a page, large and small, tilted and erect. Linotype Graphena could be described as angular, restless, even mischievous. It should be set in point sizes no smaller than 12 and is best used for headlines and displays.

A heavy unnamed Gothic typeface from the 1890 William H. Page Foundry woodtype specimen book provided the template for this bold, brash, no-nonsense face. It's designed to set tight, so your headlines will definitely get noticed. Named for a town in West Central Texas which is noted for being the home of the Buffalo Soliders in the late 1800s. Both versions of this font contain the Unicode 1252 (Latin) and Unicode 1250 (Central European) character sets, with localization for Romanian and Moldovan.

Cover Up is a roughish font with a lot of character. Its edges are slightly jagged, there is no real baseline and it looks like the whole thing has been sand blasted. When you get to know Cover Up, you’ll find that it comes with a hidden agenda, because underneath the rough exterior lives an oh-so sweet heart. Use it for your product packaging, book covers and posters - it won’t disappoint you. Comes with an illegal amount of diacritics.
