Frutiger Capitalis Regular and Outline belong to the group of typefaces for the Linotype’s Type Before Gutenberg project. However, they are not based on direct historical sources. At first glance, they may seem related to the roman type Capitalis Monumentalis, but upon closer examination, the fonts reveal a vitality unknown to the characters the Romans etched in stone. Frutiger confesses that creating Capitalis was “a liberation”. After working on so many sophisticated and meticulously designed typefaces, Frutiger Capitalis was a breath of fresh air. Stylistically, Frutiger Capitalis Outline forms a bridge to Frutiger Capitalis Signs, a whole universe of its own. Frutiger Capitalis Signs is a personal cosmos of symbols, many are immediately “legible”, others leave room for interpretation. Some of the symbols are the product of Frutiger’s imagination, such as his “Life Signs” — soft, hand drawn figures whose lines have no apparent beginning or end, creating both interior and exterior spaces, new forms emerging at each glance. Agatized Informal is a rough-edged stencil typeface with chunky letterforms and tight spacing. Designed primarily for display use, it’s ideal for posters, logos, advertising, book cover designs or small chunks of text such as pull-out quotes. The design is something of an enigma, a curious mish-mash of genres – imagine splicing Uncle Buck and Deadpool into a horror movie – it’s big, bold and funny although has a dark side. But what really makes this typeface a joy to drive is its boot full of alternative characters and ligatures. There is a saying: Use sparingly. Not on this street! Make your Glyphs palette burn rubber. Set your OpenType to full throttle: crank up your style and get those liga-tyres screeching. Agatized is a souped-up old campervan spinning doughnuts on the beach. The design started life as a piece of lettering for a book design that didn’t progress past the sketch stage. I liked the rough, dense character shapes, so during some down time I started drawing more characters and the lure of a new typeface pulled me in from there. Although this is a single-weight typeface it has a younger sibling, Agatized Formal, a neater, more dapper brother, smoother round the chops and smartly dressed – certainly no less fun though.

Talking about the numerous types that today bear the name of Giambattista Bodoni are a kind of tribute as much to his reputation as a printer as to his ability as designer and engraver. In fact, all of them tent to be more in the way or style of Bodoni than simply copy of his letterforms. Like many other type designers, we’ve been seduced also to develop our own point of view of his work, nowadays enriched by some features of OpenType format that allows a variety of combinations: standard ligatures, discretional ligatures, stylistic alternates and old styles figures. Whereas the Bodoni serif in the capitals was of the same weight as the thin stroke but joined with a very slight fillet (Bracket) and the lowercase serif were like his French rivals, the Didots, featured straight- edged serifs that were unbracketed. The ascenders and descenders of this new Bodoni are shorter, giving in this way, more space for enlarge x high. Specially designed for editorial design and advertising, can be used in magazines, annual reports and all kind of fine print materials or web pages. The beauty of his letterforms can enrich headlines; this font can also be used as body text for its good legibility and accurate kerning.

The cover of a 1950s-era catalog for the Freedman Novelty Company (of San Francisco California) had the word "Novelty" hand-lettered in an unusually angular type style against various geometric shapes somewhat resembling balloons. While the lettering was quirky enough to warrant re-drawing as a digital font, the shapes would have presented a visual nightmare in design and spacing, so simple black rectangles were substituted and the letters appear in white. Since novelty lettering of this type would never become "standard" in use, its function became the font's name, Limited Appeal JNL. There is just a simple A-Z and 1-0 character set along with basic punctuation.

Patsy is a quirky sans-serif font inspired by the titling sequence from the 1964 film, "The Patsy", starring Jerry Lewis. Segaon is versatile type family of 18 fonts. Segaon family consists of 9 weights (Thin, ExtraLight, Light, Regular, Medium, Bold, ExtraBold, Heavy & Black) with their corresponding italics. The Open Type fonts contain complete Latin 1252, Cyrillic, Central European 1250, Turkish 1254 character sets. Each font includes old-style figures, proportional figures, tabular figures, numerators, denominators, superscript, scientific inferiors, subscript, fractions and case features. We highly recommend it for use in books, web pages, screen displays, and so on.

Ten Mincho is a Japanese typeface design from Adobe Originals, designed by Ryoko Nishizuka and useful for a broad range of settings, such as advertising copy, book titles, and headings. As a traditional Mincho-style design the strokes are slightly heavy and rounded, and exhibit smaller counter spaces. Ten Mincho also features a full set of Latin glyphs, collectively known as Ten Oldstyle and designed by Robert Slimbach. This relatively feature-rich Latin subset includes OpenType features such as small caps and old-style figures. Finally, look for a small number of color emoji in an SVG table, some of which are accessible as alternates.

Controller is a geometric rounded sans serif including 5 weights and corresponding obliques and their extended style are ready. Originally, the designer was inspired by a mixture of techno and organic design in the end of 20th century around the West Coast. The letterforms of this font are designed geometric but are also slightly rounded to make a natural, warm and organic impression. Uppercase N has its alternative glyph that can be accessed by using OpenType stylistic feature. Controller is a versatile and useful family for a wide range of projects. The Shad is the almost illegible cousin of the >> Chiq. As the name suggests - it consists of the shadows of the letters. And the bolder the font style, the stronger it is. The “Light” only has a thin shadow, while the “Black” casts a very deep, broad shadow. Shad only consists of the letter shadows, the corresponding letter remains transparent, i.e. without filling. The “metrics”, i.e. the spacing and character widths, correspond to those of Chiq, so that both fonts can be placed congruently on top of each other. When you combine and play with the two fonts, very attractive effects quickly emerge. Shad brings a bit of 3D into typography.
