The opening title for the 1962 Blake Edwards film "Days of Wine and Roses" [starring Jack Lemmon and Lee Remick] was the inspiration for Cocktail Hour JNL. Adding to the playfulness of this font, the characters float above the baseline. Cocktail Hour JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Cheap Pine™ is a tribute to the wood type of the eighteenth century and nineteenth century. You can use Cheap Pine Sans & Cheap Pine Shadow together to influence the color of the shadows. If your looking for a vintage animated typestyle that still feels current today, you've just found it! Mushmouth PB started as a digitization of a film typeface called "Albert" by LetterGraphics. This all capitals font has a super subtle bounce and a playful heavy weight. An extruded film variation of this typeface was used back in the day on Post's Frosted Rice Krinkles cereal. Named in tribute to the original font name "Albert", we picked a fellow member of Fat Albert's gang for the name of this font. DESCRIPTION With Skill I wanted to create something wild. Something that splashed the letters with life. To do this, I knew I'd have to break the barrier between analog and digital, so I took my best brush and started to play. Throughout the years as a type-designer I've met and become fan of many calligraphers. My belief that only a good calligrapher can make good typography (1) has become even stronger. I'm now absolutely sure that only practice improves the skill, especially in this field. So, with this in mind, I started a font which was a challenge for me because sometimes the gap between paper and screen can be gigantic. Skill is another of my attemps (2) to capture the spirit of the pointed brush, its expressiveness, the passions and fears of the artist. This font is about freedom. Freedom everywhere. Movement, velocity, passion. To achieve this, many alternates and ligatures per glyph were designed. Use it on magazines, posters, book covers, music albums, t-shirts, skates, tattoos. NOTES (1) This is mostly referred to script fonts, though text fonts made by designers with a deep calligraphic background have at least to me, an extra charm. (2) See my fonts Live and Indie. TIPS Thanks to Open-Type, the font gives the user the chance to play and get many wonderful results: In example, using the font with “discretionary ligatures” activated will give more life to the written word. Some letters will jump of the base, while others will ligate or not with the following (typical of gestural calligraphy). Adobe Illustrator is recommended. STYLES Skill is the most complete style. It has all the alternates and ligatures that can be seen in the posters and more! Skill Standard is a variant with no decorative glyphs. It has the basic alphabet and some ligatures for better legibility.

Tudeprins is not a really positive word - the font probably did deserve another name, but I was inspired after reading a children's novel, starring a "Tudeprins" The font is dedicated to children's books, adventures, comics or something related to that - but feel free to use "Tudeprins" for anything you like! Graffiti is all repetition. Style, like brand logos, makes the repetition more recognizable, but style should never keep you from reading the word. Chanse Fresh was a project to make a handstyle font that wasn't self-concious and overworked - the font is clearly readable and fresh AF. Round is the base font with a thin version to create hierarchy or for longer pieces of text. Both round and thin have a "wet" drippy mop tag version best for key text. The font is all caps with alternates, so you can sub in capitals as needed with repetitive letters to change things up.
