Maison Neue is the completely reworked version of our original Maison typeface family. While the earlier version was constructed using rigid elements, Maison Neue has been meticulously redrawn to be less formulaic and have a stronger focus on optical criteria to create a distinct grotesque paying greater attention to harmony, rhythm and flow. In 2017, Maison Neue was further developed and expanded into a super family of 40 styles. This includes the subtly condensed original version, an extended counterpart, a mono-spaced alignment—all featuring additional weights within each family.

Globe Grotesk is modern art deco inspired sans serif. Its root goes to beginning of last century into Czechslovakia. The design is inspired in Universal Grotesk – font made by unknown designer. There are some really unique details in the font, especially letters a, g, u, E, F, R, & and many more. It primary intended for display usage or rather shorter texts. The original is extended with full latin support, ligatures, small caps, alternates, inktraps, oldstyle figures and many more features necessary for contemporary type design. Also true italics are no doubt in this font.

The first three weights of the family were designed at ParaType (ParaGraph) in 1997 by Dmitry Kirsanov . They were based on the artworks of Moscow graphic designer Andrey Kryukov (1923-1997). The original version was developed by Kryukov at the end of the sixties for Russian railways. The proportions and elements of construction were inspired by Eurostile (1962) by Aldo Novarese. It is intended for use in advertising and display typography. In 2009, Dmitry added the new styles, corrected the old ones, and enhanced them with extended character sets.

What makes our fonts so attractive to the eye, are the myriad imperfections. These differences arise from the mechanical action of the inked-wooden press on the paper, and cannot be faked by artificial means. The eye subconsciously picks up this text as the actual printing press letters. Goudy Forum is a revival and dramatic expansion by Tom Rickner, type designer at Ascender Corporation, of Frederic W. Goudy’s 20th typeface design, "Forum Title". The Pro font began twenty years ago while Tom Rickner was a student at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Tom printed a type specimen using the Forum Title foundry hot metal types. Then in 1993 Tom began to digitize the font from that specimen while working as an independent type designer. Fifteen years passed before Tom dusted off the digital data and began working in earnest on font with a full Latin 1 character set. Steve Matteson, type director at Ascender, encouraged Tom to take this font further still, and soon the glyph repertoire and feature set blossomed to a robust Pro font with a myriad of advanced typographic OpenType features.

This forerunner of Helvetica made its debut as Breite Grotesk in the 1886 specimen book of the Schelter & Giesecke foundry in Leipzig. This classic face still retains its freshness, even after more than a century. Both versions of this font contain the complete Latin A Extended character set, as well as extended ligatures and fractions.

Montag is an extended, rounded sans-serif. In many ways it can be seen as a more conservative, extended version of Chennai . As with Chennai, it includes simplified versions of many characters for titling or when a more futuristic appearance is called for. Montag also has a non-rounded companion, Dienstag , also from insigne.
