Midnight Chalker is, well, a chalk(ish) font and it was (fro the greater part) created around the midnight hour. That’s usually when I get my inspiration. Midnight Chalker is a tall, eroded font - all caps, but the upper and lower case differ and can be mixed. Of course it comes with more diacritics than you can throw a chalkboard at.

Isfahan is based on the middle-eastern style decorative initials Willy Pogany drew for his edition of The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayaam. This font has both full-size capitals and reduced size small-caps versions of each letter, but although it could be used as a titling font, it is really intended more for decorative character placement.

Shelton Slab is a Typeface with an eroded, printed look. The letters seem to be from different alphabets to support the wood type feeling. Every letter has an alternate character. Kasuga Brush is a contemporary script with eastern influence and authentic brush drawn character. The script offers two variants. Typedesigner Hannes von Döhren created Cowboyslang, a display typefamily with a Wild West flair. It consists of three widths plus fitting ornaments. Abelia is a rough(ish), cursive, handwritten font. It was made with an almost dried up felt tip pen, so as to create some roughness in the edges. It comes with a generous amount of diacritics. For those who are just dying to know: Abelia is a honeysuckle-like flowering shrub, native to Eastern Asia and Mexico.

Born in the lab as a research experiment, Reboot is great for that certain 70’s sci-fi need. It’s filled with the angular curves of the technology of yore, with full diacriticals for Eastern European Cold War era galactic display copy. In the pre-computer, pre self-adhesive label era of office supplies a number of companies (including Dennison, Maco and Denny-Reyburn) manufactured a wide variety of gummed labels for just about any use or purpose. One popular style was that of labels with parallel thick-and-thin borders of red lines and corners chamfered, rounded or straight cut.
