Hebrew Latino was started out of frustration. I could not find a font that looked like Hebrew - actually I found one, but it had only capitals. So I decided to make my own. Strangely enough it looks a little bit Jugendstylish! Here it is. Shalom! Gert Wiescher

Mr. Nakata is another one of my favorite Haruki Murakami characters. Nakata typeface is handwritten, sloppy and messy, but comes with intelligent features like alternates and ligatures, to make it look more like handwriting and less like a font. Of course, Nakata speaks most Roman-based languages.

Mustang is a powerfully expressive brush font that combines an edgy urban aesthetic with a smooth feminine flow. Some have suggested that Mustang is romantic. Some say it has something to do with speed or freedom. While precisely what Mustang expresses is up to debate, there’s no doubt that it’s expressing it with intensity. The style was born in my high school years, when I would wreck my notebooks with multiple layers of graffiti tags which would start in the margins and then creep in to cover the entire page. I developed a sensibility towards a very fast, expressive use of my hand, which later easily and naturally translated into brush. I used this style typographically on several projects throughout the years, and even turned it into a signature illustration style. Mustang is the second font, after Streetbrush, to use this brushwork as its inspiration. Mustang will be especially evocative at large sizes, where the details and sharpness of the shapes really come to life. It also holds together well for use as body copy, but may lose some of its aesthetic integrity at really small sizes.

It took me 12 years to bring this extensive font family to completion. A lot has been changed, transformed, peeled and developed in all those years. For many of my projects I used it as my quarry and so it might have become something like a synthesis of all my imaginations and experiences. To me »Schnebel Sans« represents the optimal design of a contemporary grotesque that perfectly unites dynamics with statics. For copy text the typefaces are very legible, neutrally and remain in the background, but despite this generate the necessary tension when set as headlines. »Schnebel Sans« is available in 48 different styles. It is available as a Pro Font, containing West, East Greek, and Cyrillic or as the Schnebel Sans ME, also containing Arabic and Hebrew. The scripts include small caps and various figure sets. This big range of styles from Thin to Black and from Compressed to Expanded offer many possibilities for design and fulfill all requirements for a professional use. Oscar Niemeyer is one of the greatest architects of our time—his unique way of mixing straight lines and abstract curves gives rise to an unmistakable and characteristic style. This typeface is my own tribute to Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer. The design process started when my wife and I visited Brazil while she was running a series of workshops on calligraphy. In my spare time, I would walk through the streets of beautiful cities like Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo, enjoying the local architecture and urban life. I had also the opportunity to attend to some of the workshops during which I was able to observe the organic of calligraphy and people. Then, I started to draw some shapes that reflected everything about this beautiful place: Niemeyer’s architecture and work and, in his own words ‘the curves on the body of the beloved woman’. This versatile typeface comes in 8 weights with matching italics, alternative characters, oldstyle figures and much more! Niemeyer is well-suited for logotypes, advertising, publishing, branding and corporate use. Trinidad Neue™️ is a geohumanistic typeface developed by the Chilean Type Design Studio Sudaca. The origin of this work lies in an exercise of comparing classic Roman proportions (Trajan Columns) with the capital letter set of Futura by Paul Renner. I wanted to create my own Sans Serif interpretation of classic proportions. I started working with letters A, H, N, O, R and S. When I finished the uppercase set, this exercise transformed itself into a project. I started to develop a set of lowercase letters choosing as direct references Futura and Kabel by Rudolph Koch; always having in mind that the objective was to find a balance between the humanist and the rational or geometric. Here is when this group is formed, giving its name and identity to this family: Paul, Rudolph & Alexis. The result is a typeface with an elegant, modern and versatile aspect. Its seven stylistic sets make Trinidad Neue™️ into a Swiss army knife to compose short and medium texts for editorial design, branding, exhibitions, motion graphics, etc. The family consists of nine weight variants and its corresponding oblique versions. It counts with many OpenType characteristics in each variant, including small caps, seven stylistic sets that can be combined, standard ligatures and discretionals ligatures, proportional numerals, tabular numbers, fractions, superscript, subscript, normal punctuation and also aligned to small caps and capital letters, arrows, emojis and more. With more than 1000 glyphs, this typeface has a wide idiomatic range that includes more than 190 Latin languages. Trinidad Neue™ is the new and alternative version of LC Trinidad™.

Thirsty Cream is my handmade and slightly curly font. I had birthday greeting cards, invitations and products for kids. But I guess that it is useful for a good handful of other things. While the lowercase has it's curly moments, the UPPERCASE is quite steady and super legible

Another modern, fun, and experimental display font in my library. Looks like made with a strong gesture. A bit constructive with cursive elements. Ever been tired on a Sunday? I have...and actually that was the feeling I had, when I started making this font. Nevertheless, when working on this font, my Sunday just got a whole lot better! Hope it'll make your Sunday (or any other day!) good as well! :)

Jourba is my quick scribbled serif font. Here and there you can notice inkblobs and obvious clumbsy lines. Comes with alternate upper- and lowercase along with a lot of ligatures of the most used typical letter combinations! You will need to use OpenType supporting applications to use the ligatures.

This font was created out of a desire to offer a kid-friendly, playful, legible font that works for my speech language pathologist friends who work with students every day. They wanted something that worked for little kids and allowed them to use the necessary international phonetic alphabet.

Sweden Gothenburg Futhark In Sweden you have another set called the Bohuslän runes, which are used specifically in the west coast area (Bohuslän) north of (and including) Gothenburg city (my hometown, incidentally). Interestingly, this is a string of 26 letters, not 16; 2 more than the original Elder Futhark

The name Otis arose from an incident in a shopping mall in which, realising my shoelace was undone while on an escalator, I bent down to tie it, became aware of the approaching end, panicked, fell over, and in the process happened to notice the escalator's brand name.

Styled after the monogram of the USS Greenling 213 emblem (a submarine that my grandpa proudly served on), I created this typeface in honor of his long and wonderful life. With both Regular and Rough styles, this typeface comes complete with multi-language support, special characters and symbols.
