Milligan is named in honor of the late Spike Milligan, a wonderful comedian who (amongst many other things) wrote and start in the Goon Show. It's a jolly, boisterous display Roman which can bring a sense of liveliness and fun to any project where it's used.

My teacher used to say my writing looked like ‘hanenpoten’ (“rooster legs”). It is a Dutch expression for a scrawly script. When this script emerged, it had ‘scrawl’ written all over it! Scrawlerz is a messy script font with a lot of joie de vivre. Enjoy!

PiS Hansch has its origin on a small graveyard in Salzburg, Austria. The hand-carved epigraph on a weathered tombstone inspired PiS to create this slightly twisted serif monster. I loved this monster font the second I saw it - it reminded me of Franquins Idées Noires... Reworking it and adding the missing glyphs and diacritics was quite time-consuming - but a lot of fun! The Irish monk Columbanus founded early monasteries across Western Europe starting in the Sixth Century, bringing literacy in his wake. As the Patron Saint of Motorcyclists, the adventurous Columbanus is both gallant and respected. Willow font was designed by Tony Forster, a fanciful font in the Viennese Secessionist style. The Farfa fonts were designed for institutional use, commissioned by the City of Fara in Sabina, Italy. This project started from the study of the manuscripts found in the Abbey of Farfa, penned in a variant of the lower case of “Carolingian” typical style of that area. The Capital, ligatures and Small Caps, however, are based on the uncial writing that often appears in those codes and manuscripts. Farfa Abbey is a territorial abbey in northern Lazio, central Italy. It is one of the most famous abbeys of Europe. It belongs to the Benedictine Order and is located about 60 km from Rome, in the commune of Fara Sabina The origin of the Abbey is still unknown. Archaeological discoveries seem to prove that the first monastic establishment was built on the ruins of a pagan temple. The Vandals destroyed the first monastery in the fifth century. Only a few documents from the sixth-century prove the early presence of the monastic community. It had the heritage of Charlemagne (S VIII), the Lombard chiefs, and later the Carolingians, succeeded in withdrawing Farfa from obedience to the Bishops of Rieti, and in securing many immunities and privileges for the monastery. Farfa was at this period the most important monastery in Italy both from the point of view of worldly possession and ecclesiastical dignity.

A light hearted comic and clumsy typestyle inspired by an old pulp novel called "The Astronaut". Luscombe is a boisterous and lively display face, recalling the shaded and outlined faced much beloved of 1920s poster and advertising artists, while offering a regularity of outline that those faces often did not achieve.
