Clairveaux is based on samples of an ornate 12th century calligraphic style. It has some interesting features, including small caps which combine some characteristics of both traditional upper and lower cae character forms. It's ornate enough to look decorative, but not overwhelmingly complex, and looks remarkably attractive when used for titles in a large size.

Misterall is a hand made, all-caps, brush font by Bartek Nowak which contains two variations for each letter and a lot of ligatures. It can be used for invitations, greeting cards, posters, advertising, books, menus etc. Language support includes Western, Central and Eastern European character sets, as well as Baltic and Turkish languages.

Jalebi font is quite like its namesake, the Indian deep-fried sweet. It is fat(tening), uneven, crunchy and addictive. I realized I didn't have that many serif fonts, so I started sketching and came up with John Brown. John Brown is named after the sheriff in the Bob Marley song 'I Shot The Sheriff'. It is an all caps font, but upper and lower case can be freely interchanged for that great 'natural' look.

Come into the boudoir. This simple hand-drawn sans tries to invoke the same feelings as its name - and not to be overluscious. Boudoir is sweet and sensual like women, but it’s at the same time uncluttered and masculinely straightforward. The font borrows some playful capital shapes from the all caps Baronessa and draws inspiration for others from old classics. Urbane Adscript is a script companion to Urbane. A monoline semi-linking sans, it has the same number of weights and the same cap height and x-height as the Urbane family, meaning the two can be used together harmoniously. It features swash capitals that can be toggled on or off in the Opentype panel, or chosen individually from the Glyphs menu according to taste. Almost every capital has a swash alternate, and many have two. In Adobe Illustrator, the more decorative swash can be found under “swash”, the less decorative as an alternate. Say hello to another of my hot and trendy scripts, Hot Script! I got the inspiration for this one in the world of sign painters. My neighbourhood, and more specifically the avenue were I live, is very well known for its ''parrillas'': For those who don't know what this means, well, it may be better to live the experience rather than reading these lines. Villa Urquiza is full of restaurants with an argentinian flavour, with a ''gauchezco'' feel. Here you can taste some of the best ''asados'' in the entire world. Ok, this made me hungry, let's go back to type: These amazing venues still mantain genuine elements from the past, and try to preserve the beauty of the handcrafted. Parrillas of Buenos Aires have all their walls, windows and doors lettered with chalk or paint. I've always wanted to make a font out of that, and Hot Script is my first attempt. I believe the results are great! Hot Script follows some rules of the flat brush (see terminals, and tails especially in caps) but its contrast of thicks and thins was manually altered to make the font better for a wider range of uses. Although the sexy curves and versatility of Hot seemed to be enough, I decided to spice it a little more by creating some layers for it: Hot Script Shine Solo or Hot Script Shades Solo combined with Hot Script will give outstanding results. (Look for them combined in the posters above and dare to deny it!) Go make your project more savory! This font is Hot, hot, hot!

Occam is an informal calligraphic script face. The letter forms were drawn and constructed rather than penned or brushed but reflect a definite flat pen influence. The ascenders and descenders incorporate an abstract implied loop form. Some curves that would normally be round are pointed and some transitions that would normally be sharp and pointed have been made round. A few exit strokes curve back instead of moving up and out for a little different look. This font could be put to good use as a contrasting style combined with sans and serif faces in applications such as newsletters, brochures, invitations and annual reports. It could be used for heads, subheads, pull quotes, drop caps and as a title font for covers.

Analogia is a digital interpretation of types used in the mid-18th century in books printed at Leuven by Martin van Overbeke. It is intended primarily for use in running text. The roman is businesslike, yet with a distinct personality; it has a generous x-height and is slightly condensed, though without appearing cramped. It is complemented by a more lively italic, which retains some irregularities in the angle of slant that are characteristic of the original. Analogia provides wide support for west, central, and east European languages that use the roman alphabet. Among its OpenType features are ligatures, small caps, several sets of numerals, contextual alternates, intelligent implementation of long ‘s’, and fractions. Bodoni Classic Deco Two, like the original Bodoni Classic Deco, breaks all rules. Giambattista Bodoni himself would probably hate me for doing it; he was a real purist. The whole idea of the Bodoni typeface is no embellishments and here I go and decorate those nice clear letters. Shame on me! But I find this is a very nice and useful typeface for all kinds of cards and certificates. So I just did it for all of you out there that are not born purists, and want a little embellishment to their lives. And to make things worse, I added a small caps cut. I even decorated the numbers. A new year has begun, new resolutions have been made. Fresh ideas are popping up and a new life is about to begin. All in all, I figured New Beginnings was the perfect name for my first font in 2016. It is a very happy, very original typeface. All caps, but upper and lower glyphs differ and can be interchanged. New Beginnings font can be used virtually anywhere, but children’s books and product packaging spring to mind. Comes with an abundance of diacritics.

The typeface Weiner Grotesk, designed by Rudolf Geyer for the H. Berthold AG foundry of Berlin in 1912, provides the pattern for this classic Jugendstil font. The design is very versatile: used as all caps, you can create elegant, compact headlines; and, as upper and lower, you can create subheads with decidedly dramatic contrast. Either way, this one is a "Weiner". All versions of this font include the Unicode 1250 Central European character set in addition to the standard Unicode 1252 Latin set.

You may be familiar with a caps and small caps type called Cruickshank. In Germany the same face was called Eureka. We took the small caps, which are not so overblown as the caps, and designed a lowercase to harmonize with it.

Its inspiration – particularly its weight and width proportions – can be traced to the Liberta typeface from the TypoArt type foundry in former Eastern Germany. After a careful study of the model, the design of Dederon branched off into its own direction, finding its distinctive voice and becoming a wholly original type family. Dederon Serif kept most of the elements typical for the Old Style Roman lettering, such as the angle of the stress, the medium x-height, and lower contrast. In large sizes, the typical shapes of the letters stand out – the calligraphic feel characteristic for the Czech typefaces by Oldrich Menhart, the unusual serifs hinting at the angle of the pen, the shapes of the stems, or the terminals of dots and ears. Linotype Impacta is part of the Take Type Library, which features the winners of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contest from 1994 to 1997. Dutch artist Marc Lubbers designed Impacta with little contrast between strokes, rather, he depended on the slope of the strokes to give his font character. Rounded, two was designed with a simple idea in mind: the basis for the majority of the characters is a perfect circle. That circle is then intersected and cropped to make unique, modern and stylish letterforms. Rounded, two is an improved version of my initial experimentation.
