This font is inspired by posters opticians use to test a person’s eyesight. Those letters are always blurred or distorted when they're beheld. That’s awful for any creation. So why not rig the game from the start and blur the whole font?! WBP Sight is most defiantly a display font, so play to it’s strengths. Use it in headings, on banners or on posters. Carmay was conceived as a charming, gently flowing member of the didonesque family. The roman weights present some hybrid characteristics, which results in an appearance of informality and adds a dash of brio. Carmay, nonetheless, remains restrained and committed to a classical ethos. All weights contain standard and optional ligatures, superior characters, proportional lining figures, tabular lining figures, proportional old style figures, lining old style figures, matching currency symbols, fraction- and scientific numerals, matching arrows.

Modula was the first high resolution headline face that Zuzana Licko designed with the Macintosh computer. In 1985, the computer was very crude as far as being able to produce subtle curves, but it was outstanding at producing perfect geometric elements. As a guide, she used the proportions of her earlier Emperor Fifteen bitmap design and applied the precision of the computer's geometric elements. See also Modula Round and Ribbed. Plaq is a display font whose appearance draws inspiration from the distinctive large raster effect that can be achieved with a riso machine. Plaq retains its varied and extravagant style, while its crisp and bold letters add creativity and expression to projects. It is ideal for creative applications such as posters, invitations or branding materials, where a striking and distinctive text finish is sought that catches the eye with its unique raster. Remastered in 2023.

Delphi grew from a logotype Lily Feinberg produced using Greek-column-inspired letterforms. As that concept expanded to include more and more letters, the typeface had its beginnings. Intertwined, kinetic, and deliberate, Delphi carves itself onto the page and screen, encouraging variation and experimentation. The letterforms’ unique construction and predispostion for experimentation inspired two varying sets: Delphi Dio, comprised of two-line strokes, and Delphi Tria, built of both 2- and 3-line strokes. With a design as elaborate, yet tightly tuned as this, the desire to add more and more was irresistible—you'll see a number of stylistic, swash, and titling alternates (and even more hidden away in further stylistic sets). Because Dio and Tria could only hold so much, alternate cuts were produced to better organize your options: the Delphi Alt fonts feature certain letter styles and stylistic alternate sets distinct from those in Delphi. Delphi’s sophisticated, striking letterforms make it an ideal display face for use at large sizes, and with so many unique details and alternate letterforms, it’s simply fun to use.

The Old Turkic script (also known as variously Göktürk script, Orkhon script, Orkhon-Yenisey script) is the alphabet used by the Göktürks and other early Turkic khanates during the 8th to 10th centuries to record the Old Turkic language. Words were usually written from right to left. According to some sources, Orkhon script is derived from variants of the Aramaic alphabet, in particular via the Pahlavi and Sogdian alphabets of Persia, or possibly via Kharosthi used to write Sanskrit The texts are mostly epitaphs (official or private), but there are also graffiti and a handful of short inscriptions found on archaeological artifacts, including a number of bronze mirrors.

Bitblox fonts are based on the lettering created for Glyfyx’ eponymous wooden alphabet blocks. The characters are inspired by the low-res bitmap lettering seen on early generation computer devices. The Bitblox family consists of eight pixelated fonts, including a trio of styles that stack up to create a colorful, dimensional effect. An extensive multi-styled dingbat collection is also included. The Bitblox lettering was designed by James Beall with PSY/OPS Type Foundry, for Glyfyx Inc.

This family began with Berkshire Swash Pro, an alluring semi-sweet typestyle with a bold yet feminine flair to it. This was always meant to be a trio family, complete with Regular, Loops, and Swash Pro styles. See the last graphics for a comprehensive character map preview. Niccolo Niccoli (1364-1437) was a wealthy bibliophile and an acclaimed scribe, in Florence (Italy). He was one of the most important Italian calligrapher in this early time of rediscovering Roman script. Of rare accomplishment was his adaptation of the so called Italian humanistic minuscule script. We were inspired from his late work to create this present Font. We have added a lot of accented and other characters (U/V, I/J...) who was not existing in the original and replacing "long s" by a small "s" for a modern use. The OTF encoding was used for intelligent alternates, permitting to use different forms of the same lower case or capital in a single word, reproducing easily the charming variety of a real manual scripture.

Blackletter Moderne JNL was inspired by the original 1935 pencil drafts for “Deutsche Schrift” (German script); designed for the country’s railway system – and is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Decadent, baroque and refined. Sinuous curves, ornate swashes and alternates that can be customized to suit your burlesque ball, bodice-ripping romance novel or high-fashion label. The “Swash” version includes swash capitals that can be toggled on or off using the ‘swash’ option in Adobe apps. The “Title” version includes drop-caps that connect with an underline that runs under the regular characters. These again can be toggled on and off using the ‘swash’ option. Also includes optional stylistic alternates and ligatures.

Xylotype guru Rob Roy Kelly identified this specimen from his personal collection as "Phanitalian". This addition to the Whiz-Bang Woodtype series takes its name from a small Texas town in the middle of nowhere which has risen to international prominence—at least for folks interested in such things—as the site of the World Championship Chili Cook-off. Both versions of this font contain the Unicode 1252 (Latin) and Unicode 1250 (Central European) character sets, with localization for Romanian and Moldovan.

Bebas Kai is free font which is licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Designed by Ryoichi Tsunekawa. TDL Ruha Crown is a decorative, modern and mechanical display typeface and it results from the development of the stencil RUHA. Being the first typeface of the family, sets the basic concepts to be developed further, on each version to come. There is an rigid geometrical connection with the Roman du Roi design approach, since the letterforms are imposed by the constraints of the RUHA ruler. The main typographic proportions are connected with the modern typefaces, like Didot or Bodoni.

When this font slips on a pair of ordinary, over-the-counter spectacles, applies a little hair gel and straightens its red, white and blue tie, it disappears amongst common mortals like you and I... But when danger raises its ugly head, when Truthiness, Justice and the American Way are threatened, MildMannered abandons its secret identity, rips open its shirt and takes to the skies to fight evil... ... and, of course, to help sell colorful paper plates, halloween costumes and happy meals.
