Hounslow is closely related to Acton in structure, and takes the latter’s simple block construction into the third dimension. In the years 1937 and 1938 Paul Renner drew these both styles of the Ballade font family. Now freshly redesigned and extented for contemporary use, both styles have reappeared. It is also recommended to activate the OT feature discretionary ligatures.

Lively, friendly and fun. Blackcurrant is derived from a poster campaign Rian Hughes designed for the youthful Japanese woman's outfitters, Yellow Boots. Fledermaus (meaning 'Bat' in German) was a cabaret theater from Vienna. The original Jugendstil decor was designed by Josef Hoffman and several posters, advertising performances, were designed by other members of the Vienna Workshop. Fledermaus font was based on a 1907 poster by Bertold Löffler. Since only a few glyphs were available, I designed the missing ones myself. The lower case consists of small caps and the font comes with extensive language support.

Diaria started as a project in Typeface Architecture for Master in Advanced Typograghy at EINA, Centre Universitari de Disseny i Art de Barcelona, a course tutored by Laura Meseguer and Íñigo Jerez Quintana. Later it has developed into Diaria Pro, an extensive typeface including Cyrillic script, small caps, and various OpenType features.
