Mentone is a new general purpose typeface, an attempt at extending the line of the great sans-serifs of the previous century, Frutiger - Stone Sans - Myriad. The font has round corners and subtle chamfers, which are all but invisible at text sizes, but add an upbeat, irreverent expression at display sizes. The typeface is named after the beautiful bayside suburb of Melbourne, Australia, where the designer lives. This new version (2.01) was spaced and kerned by Igino Marini of iKern. The semibold cuts are now free!

The Aspasia is a decorative low contrast sans serif type family suited both for editorial and corporate design, available in five weights, ranging from Thin to Black. It was designed by Mikus Vanags in 2009 influenced by art-deco geometric typefaces and mastered for the needs of today. The Aspasia OpenType fonts have and extended character set to support Central/Eastern European languages like Polish, Czech and Latvian. The font includes old style and lining figures, regular and discretionary ligatures and multiple stylistic alternates.

Sirius B is a very lively display font. It can be used for book covers or posters, but would look rather dandy on T-shirts, mugs and other merchandise as well! Sirius B comes with alternates for all upper- and lowercase letters, has extensive language support and - lo and behold - all glyphs are interchangeable.

Our font of the original was only ten point, so we had to use our imagination to a great extent. As specialists in Victorian typography, we have found that many people do not like the "center alignment" idea, used on several old time faces, but we have been faithful to the original. So there!

This Arabic extension to Adrian Frutiger’s Avenir typeface family was created by Nadine Chahine for Monotype. A versatile stencil type family with lowercase characters and a extensive character set. The 1954 sheet music for the song "Arrevederci Roma (Goodbye to Rome)" [from the MGM film "The Seven Hills of Rome"] was hand lettered in a medium-wide sans serif. This design is now available digitally as Arrevederci JNL in both regular and oblique versions.

Ellisea (pronounced L-S-E) blends traditional letter shapes with straight lines to project a strong, unique image perfect for display purposes or medium-length text blocks. Ellisea is best used in printed material but is attractive in small sizes on screen as well.

I was commissioned by Publish magazine to digitize Trio in 1990. Originally designed in a Light weight only, Trio is now available in Medium and Bold weights as well. Uppercase only, but each weight includes two alphabets, one more "deco," the other more "modern."

Hercule is a decorative typeface family in two weights: Light and Medium. The inspiration for Hercule was the fanciful moustache of the great fictional detective Hercule Poirot. The typeface was created by hand. Hercule is ideally suited for headlines, logotypes, decorative and display use.

Constant is a meticulously constructed slab serif display typeface of a sturdy lineage. The strong horizontal and vertical rhythm and calculated angles dominate its appearance, yet sweeping broad shapes infuse the design with an overall warm undertone.
