Koralle was an abundant family of grotesque font styles which had been released by Schelter & Giesecke in the first quarter of the previous century. Out of this family four of the most impressive styles were revived, whereby I stuck as close to the original as possible. All styles contain even the weird-looking capitalized German double-s of which I am a strong opponent.

HOKKIEN is an all caps sister to my other font Penang. It was inspired by some old pieces of Art Deco signage I had discovered in Penang Malaysia, The font is available in one weight for now. The font is loaded with plenty of foreign extras and currency symbols. I have also included an alternate cap S which works better visually in blocks of copy.

Rekord Antiqua, regular and semibold, released 1911 by Wagner & Schmidt, is a perfect body text partner for Art Nouveau display fonts. Both styles come with a long s, which can be reached by the OT feature of historical forms or by typing [alt] + b. In addition, you find two framing elements on [alt] + P and [alt] + p, and an oblique style was added too.

Poster is the first type created by this team. Its an experiment. This geometric typeface is based on bold and clean rounded rectangles. It’s soft and friendly look lends itself to a number of applications. It´s a good choice for company logotypes, magazine headlines and, of course, posters applications. This font was designed to be used in large sizes, so you can appreciate the little details.

Released by the Compugraphic Corporation in 1979, the Garth Graphic font family is based on a design by John Matt from the 1960's, reworked by Renee LeWinter and Constance Blanchard. Garth Graphic was named after Bill Garth, a founder of Compugraphic. A fairly strong old style face suitable for text setting; the heavier weights and condensed forms are most used for display work.

Two typefaces from the 1923 Barnhart Brothers & Spindler specimen book have been combined to produce this gem. Swagger Capitals, designed by Carl S. Junge, for the uppercase and Gothic Novelty Title for the lowercase. Named for a lively dance from the nineteenth century. Both versions of this font contain the Unicode 1252 Latin and Unicode 1250 Central European character sets, with localization for Romanian and Moldovan.

Lusta plays with the interchangeability of an inline and an outline, negative and positive space. Often one single character will epitomise the design of a font, and here the S served as the conceptual starting point. The inline/outline was then applied to sans and serif variants, and extended into a multi-line prisma and an offset layered shadow version, probably inspired by Face Photosetting’s Stack.

Gotica Lumina is a an attempt to make blackletter more legible to the 21st century's eye. It is available in two styles: soft (for text) and sharp (for display). Lodestone is a sans serif decorative typeface, and was created by Steve Jackaman (ITF) in 2017. The original design was known as ‘Marvin,’ and was created by Face Photosetting (London) in the early 1970’s. Since the name ‘Marvin’ was in use by another foundry at time of publication, ‘Lodestone’ was born. Lodestone has a clean, retro feel, and is electrifying at display sizes.

Grizzly is a handwritten display style typeface. It was designed by hand using a flair pen, then scanned in, vector traced and fontisized. It is a very detailed typeface that looks great at large point sizes on screen and in print. Grizzly"s aggressive, chicken scratch appearance definitely adds pizzazz to every document. Liturgisch was created by Otto Hupp for Klingspor foundry in 1906. The basis of this font is a publication in the magazine "Das Plakat" of October 1921. The font contains contextual alternates, ligatures, discretional ligatures for use in German, ornamental bullets and other OpenType features. It supports all the European languages using Latin alphabets (including slashed S and slashed longs used in Latvian old orthography till 1930s).

I love the trends in handwritten calligraphy and wanted to play with playful lettering. I've heard from many of my customers that they don't use Open Type software and feel limited in the cool features of OT scripts because of this, so I've replaced the | (bar key) with a left-sided tail to start the lowercase r and s in words that begin with those letters.

Tme, new lineal — Tme is an update of Sl (T = S + 1, m = l + 1 and e for natural logarithm), drawn in 2006 for the University of Arts Saint-Luc de Tournai. Its geometrical drawing is based on the directions of the hexagon, a scrupulously followed constraint which confers on some glyphs a very particular drawing. in light, regular and bold language: all latin glyphs

Bernhard Blackletter can be compared to a tuba, adding its deep bass sound to the orchestra of blackletter fonts. This font contains a bunch of useful ligatures, and to access all, it is recommended to activate both Standard and Discretionary Ligatures. You find the round s on the # key, and typing the combination N-o-period and activating the OT feature Ordinals gets you the numero sign.

I also made the descenders on "g/j/p/q/y" a bit longer - so they would balance better with the letters with diacritics below the letter... Espinosa Nova is a revival based on the types used by Antonio de Espinosa, the most important Mexican printer of the sixteenth century and very probably the first punchcutter anywhere in the American continent (1551). In 2010, its main fonts were awarded two certificates of excellence: one by TDC2 (Type Directors Club Typeface Design Competition), one by Tipos Latinos (Biennial of Latin American Typography). According to Robert Bringhurst, it is “an unusually intelligent family of type, reaching back to one of the most exciting moments in typographic history and reaching forward to the typographic future”. Maison Luxe is a revival of a very old font designed in France in or around the year 1820. You may have seen this font in the past under the names of Circus, Roma, Madame and Gillé Classic. As of November 2016 we have changed the name of this font from Gillé Classic to Maison Luxe which means Luxury House in French. For many years Joseph Gillé was credited as the original designer of this font however we've recently been contacted by a type historian in France reporting that he could not find any evidence supporting Joseph Gillé as the designer and to the best of his knowledge an artist by the name of Sylvestre may be the true designer. If you love this classic font then you're sure to enjoy the alternate version also with a matching lowercase available from FontMesa under the name of Home Style. This version of the classic with its squared off shadow is true to the original design where Home Style has diagonal lines creating a cast shadow. Bon Air was one of a series of script typefaces cut into wood by the Hamilton Manufacturing Company for the Morgan Sign Machine Co. (makers of the Line-o-Scribe showcard press) in the mid 20th Century. These were some of the last new designs cut into wood by Hamilton until the museum revival in the early 2000s. Bon Air was created in 1958 and trademarked in 1961. The wood type made for Morgan was used largely in department stores to make their own signage. The script styles are reminiscent of sign painters alphabets and evoke a Mad Men era advertising aesthetic. The font was only cut in four sizes: 12, 18, 36 and 72 line. It was distributed by Morgan for use in their presses, but as type high wood type, it could be used on any press. The font was issued with several alternate letters and ligatures to simulate the effect of hand lettering. Its lively strokes and odd details give it an exotic flavor suitable for advertising display work. The digital version includes all of the original alternates plus new characters to fill out a full European character set.

Le design de ITC Ellipse Neo a été légèrement modifié. Trois graisses ont été ajoutées (léger, moyen, extra gras, y compris les italiques) aux styles originaux Regular et Bold. ITC Ellipse Neo est à la fois moderne et classique. Moderne dans le dessin inhabituel basé sur la forme géométrique de l’ellipse. Et classique dans la structure de certaines lettres comme les minuscules c, e, g, o, s. Ces lettres pourraient provenir d'une police de caractères traditionnelle, mais elles s'intègrent parfaitement avec le reste de l'alphabet plus insolite en lui donnant un mélange de modernité et de tradition. De plus, la forme de l'ellipse s'intègre naturellement dans les styles italiques, donnant à la police une sensation organique et fluide. ITC Ellipse Neo offre des fonctionnalités OpenType telles que des caractères alternatifs pour les capitales et les bas de casse, et un jeu de caractères accentués étendu pour prendre en charge de nombreuses langues. Cinq graisses ont été créés pour chaque style afin d'offrir un large éventail de possibilités graphiques pour une empreinte numérique rigoureuse.
