This is a family of "Gothic" types from the Monotype Design Studio. The faces named "Gothic No. 1 through 4" were produced by Compugraphic. Gothic No. 1 is a condensed, late 19th century American-style sans serif typeface. Gothic No. 2 and Gothic No. 3 are based on the Metro #2 series, designed by W.A. Dwiggins for Mergenthaler Linotype during the 1920s and 30s. Gothic No. 4 looks vaguely like Gothic number one, but is heavier and smaller on the body. Gothic Extra Light Extended is a very light and wide design.

Vinea is a family of ten display faces that take us on an enjoyable excursion into the world of the retro-futuristic. Ideal for posters, book covers, and anything that needs the sort of futuristic feel that abounded in designs from the 30s to the fifties. The en faces have been designed with uniform metrics, to facilitate multi-coloured overlay effects.

The Stomp Family is a set of three different fonts, Swirl, Flowers and Circles which are designed to be used with Stomp Black to create dual colored type for bright and exciting images. Metrics and Kerning information for the four faces are identical so that they overlay perfectly. Stomp Black is also very usable on its own for bold, high impact type.

There was a time in this country when many young people studied a trade via a correspondence course through the mail. While this method still exists, it's now more common to find students taking online classes. From an early-1960s course in sign painting comes Sign Merchant JNL, a classic brush stroke type design popularized on show cards and posters.

Precious Serif is a distinctive, modern slab serif typeface, first released in 2003 and now refreshed in 2017. This contemporary, chunky gem is the sister typeface to our Precious Sans family, both sets designed with similar metrics and characteristics to ensure they pair together seamlessly in print & digital applications. Mix Precious Sans & Serif together in a block of text to wonderful effect!

The idea was to create a typeface with a high black ratio that would work well in a compact style. The five styles of Vivala Black share similar metrics, so they can be easily substituted for each other in a body of text. OpenType features include ligatures, fractions, ordinals, numerators, denominators and stylistic alternates. Fields of application are posters, magazines, packaging, books, and corporate design.

Iyannu has no meaning in its self. This font is made to be very quiet and simple yet to be unique. Iyannu is created by Japanese designer and it is designed so called "Retro Future" like cyberpunk in Tokyo. When font is made strictly with mathematic sometimes it looks unbalanced. So this font is mixing mathematics method and optical illusion of view to maintain the clear balance.

Standard fabric (or textile) care symbols used for creating clothing labels. This font has temperature setting symbols for washing, drying and ironing. It also includes bleach and dry cleaning symbols. This font uses a method that allows combinations of the washing, drying and dry cleaning symbols to create more symbols. Therefore, this font actually has a total of 73 unique fabric care symbols that can be created.

This all started with a love for Jenson. I know there're hundreds of variations on that theme. But, that is where I began, several years ago. How far it came, as usual as I wandered through the vagaries of font design, is not unusual. If you've read any of my font design books, you know my design processes are quite loose and spontaneous. I wanted the general feel of a favorite old font, but softer, easier, and more comfortable. I built these on the same vertical metrics as my Librum Publishing Group. However, this family is not part of that group. I used the metrics because that shows my current taste in fonts. This family does work with the Librum group—but to be honest, I haven't experimented enough to come up with a good companion. I suspect I'll need to make another companion family. I may need make a non-modulated bold version also. But, that remains to be seen. I'm pleased with this.

PT Serif Pro is an universal type family designed for use together with PT Sans Pro family released earlier. PT Serif Pro coordinates with PT Sans Pro on metrics, proportions, weights and design. It consists of 38 styles: 6 weights (from light to black) with corresponding italics of normal proportions; 6 weights (from light to black) with corresponding italics of narrow proportions; 6 weights (from light to black) with corresponding italics of extended proportions; and 2 caption styles (regular and italic) are for texts of small point sizes. The letterforms are distinguished by large x-height, modest stroke contrast, robust wedge-like serifs, and triangular terminals. Due to these features the face can be qualified as matched to modern trends of type design and of enhanced legibility. Mentioned characteristics beside conventional use in business applications and printed stuff made the fonts quite useable for advertising and display typography. Each font next to standard Latin and Cyrillic character sets contain alphabet glyphs of title languages of the national republics of Russian Federation and support the most of the languages of neighboring countries. The fonts were developed and released by ParaType in 2011 with financial support from Federal Agency of Print and Mass Communications of Russian Federation. This is a relaunch version of Joost, a milestone of the Type-Ø-Tones catalogue. This revival of Joost Schmidt’s typeface now has a capital set, a new weight and some OpenType features. Not to mention alternate glyphs for M, N, Ñ, and W characters. The inspiration came from the 'bauhaus dessau im gewerbemuseum' basel exhibition poster, designed in 1929 by Franz Ehrlich after a sketch by Joost Schmidt.

In the MacKellar, Smiths & Jordan type specimen book of 1892 are examples of Lining Gothic Extended, a wide sans serif typeface. A lining font has the numerals aligned with the capital letter height, rather than following the “Old Style” method of smaller figures that could also descend below the baseline. Order Form JNL is the digital version of this design, and is available in both regular and oblique versions.
