Sport Numbers contains classic sport number designs, similar to those that appear on sport uniforms and competition vehicles, in the proportions of 6 x 10, 8 x 10, 10 x 10, and 12 x 10, both vertical and oblique. Trilight is a result of my fascination (obsession?) with how the appearance of a typeface can impact on the tactile as well as visual sense to strengthen and guide its imapct. It consists of simple block characters with a triple highlight to give the effect of dimension. The Trilight family consists of both highlighted and solid characters to provide a two color display without the need to convert characters to outline.

ITC Minska is the work of Carl Crossgrove, who used a combination of upper and lower case shapes together to create new letter forms. Crossgrove created unconventional yet immediately recognizable variations in two different alphabets, which cannot quite be classifed as upper and lower case in themselves. With opulant curves and sharp angles, ITC Minska projects an unorthodox energy which is ideal for unusual effects and display settings.

The idea about Phenotype was to achieve a unique visual effect by touching serifs. Characters form ligatures, but every combination looks different. Touching serifs form connecting character images, e.g. like logotypes on old refrigerators or oldtimer cars, something like the fonts of Leslie Carbarga. The design idea is based on monospaced and heavy serif fonts like Courier, Isonorm Memphis or Rockwell. However, obviously, Phenotype is not a monospaced typeface.

Old Claude was drawn by Paul Shaw to simulate an old cut of the classic (Claude) Garamond type designs of the 16th & 17th centuries. The pronounced rough edges and coarse letter shapes create the effect of letterpress printing with old foundry type onto handmade paper. Zera JNL is one of those fonts that defy any simple description. While trying out effects on Transactive JNL, Jeff Levine came up with a set of letters comprised of intersecting rings that could illustrate chain, cellular structure, bubbles or probably anything your imagination can come up with to adapt the font to a particular project. I highly recommend using it with software that is compatible with vertical layout. (e.g. Adobe illustrator)

Jeff Levine has taken twenty-six of the common phrases found on those old office stamps and created Stamp of Approval JNL.
