Artegra Soft is the round cornered addition to the Artegra superfamily. It's based on the perfectionist geometric forms of Artegra Sans, all the glyphs are softened with round corners with manual corrections to the soft edges. The family has 54 fonts in condensed, normal and extended widths, 9 weights per width with matching true italics to achieve the upmost versatility.

The hand lettered title on the cover of the 1938 sheet music for “If It Rains – Who Cares” featured a condensed Art Deco typeface made with a round nib pen. Jean Evans' interest in type design dates back to her third-grade fascination with fancy script writing. This font is inspired by typography found on old German shop windows. It is a script font, but instead of imitating human handwriting and the gestures connected to it, the goal was to come up with a new writing flow and stroke order. As opposed to handwriting Latin script letters, which normally means drawing each character and then connecting it to the next one, the strokes of this font run across multiple glyphs. Intentionally, the design aims to achieve a flowing transition between each glyph without making use of contextual alternates, taking the limitations of classic machine lettering as a challenge.
