I've been learning to read Cyrillic and Greek letters lately, mainly because I've been playing the game GeoGuessr. (If you haven't played it, I highly recommend! It plops you down somewhere in the world in Google Street View, and you have to figure out where you are.) Cyrillic shows up in so many more places than Russia! You can see it in Bulgaria, Mongolia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kyrgyzstan, and more. Because of that, I made sure to include a fun double-uppercase version of those alphabet sets in Sleepy Bear. They're styled the same way as the Latin characters: all uppercase height, with some lowercase-styled letters thrown in at that same height for a fun look for all ages. I've also made two weights of Sleepy Bear: a plump and smooth regular weight, and a lighter weight that's built to stack on top of the regular (though you can use it on its own). The idea behind designing ‘Matwin’ font was related to the youngest children of the designer namely the M-A fraternal twin. The name of the typeface (i.e., Matwin or M-A-Twin) was composed by merging three linguistic small syllables. The ‘-Twin’ syllable refers to the non-identical twin of the designer. One of the more elegant script fonts available, this design is based on calligraphic handwriting called "Copperplate" because of the copper plates that it was etched into for reproduction. This face is not related to Copperplate [Gothic] by the American type designer, F.W. Goudy. Maybe I should have named this font “Communist Block”. But it also works well for Colonial-style tavern signs. It’s square, geometric and rigid, and is the perfect thing for totalitarian themes. The family consists of three fonts: Kolega (“Comrade” in Polish), Kolega Tall, and Kolega Podrobska (Fake Comrade). Kolega and Kolega Tall are fully charactered with U.S., European, Greek and Cyrillic glyphs. The latter font is meant to use in English only; although it contains many accents and character variations, they mean nothing. It’s a joke.

I don’t know about the weather on your side of the globe, but here it is mighty cold! I was trying out a new technique of font-making AND I was craving a pumpkin spice latte, so I named this font Spiced Pumpkin. Spiced Pumpkin is a rounded, thin, all caps typeface with a heart warming, ice melting attitude. It looks good on product packaging, book covers and postcards, so (in other words) give it a whirl and see what you’ll end up with!

To break from the rigidity of a typical monospaced font, Alloca includes weights that go above and beyond. From the wire-thin to the ultra-bold, you’ll be able to do a lot with one monospaced family. With OpenType features like slashed zeros, old style numerals, and case-sensitive forms, Alloca is versatile. It's great for displaying code, showcasing data, or even flowing your body copy. Bohy was a candidate when it was felt there was a need for a "house font" to start a design service. Its readability can be relied on to clearly display the most creative or obscured names, yet the adherence to a chosen system of construction to achieve this consistency also make the Bohy characters stubbornly distinguishable from most other font sets if you were to group it under geometric, or technical typeface, or some other categories it should belong (it is considered more constructivist, not humanist, etc...).

Valsity is a squarish slab-serif family with five weights and two widths, each with an italics for a total of twenty members. With negligible contrast, it is almost monoline. It is for decorative uses; it is too square and lacks the contrast to make it a good choice for extensive text. Valsity began with a blending of two other squarish slab-serifs, Valgal and Kwersity, and its name reflects that ancestry. From there it took on a life of its own, often diverging from its parents.

Ridiculous is a complete whack-a-doodle sans-serif font inspired by the titling sequence from the 1964 film, "Yours, Mine, and Ours". Fun and full of personality, it is a lettering style that is completely insane. With ligatures enabled, the font will auto-substitute between cases for an even more random appearance. With a pseudo unicase character set, and offbeat letter weighting, Ridiculous is pure lunacy to typeset with, with ligature combinations that are quirky surprises. You’ll find this font will live up to it's name.
