Alleghieri was developed from several different examples of late Renaissance lettering. While it is based on a style which is clearly intended for quick, easy writing, we've preserved many of the unusual character forms and elaborations to give it a lot of personality. The result is stylish and unique, with a real feel of the Renaissance, but great readability as well. The full version includes a large selection of variant character forms and special characters.

Albe Sans is a font family that began life when I was struck by a full-color back page ad in a 1935 copy of Better Homes & Gardens. I loved the readability and general cleanliness of the design. This font is drawn from memory after that experience. It is loosely based on Palton for proportion, but heaviily modified (not to mention, Palton is serif): Lower case numbers, Euro, ballot box in the section slot.

Bavaroir looks like a techno party in the throne room of Neuschwanstein: grandiose, original and still high-tech, modern, stylish and chic? anything but lifeless. The design experiment was to create a sans serif based on ?dropping endings?. Something between elegance and protest, Bavaroir coquettishly hides its edges. Although pretty narrow in design, Bavaroir still flows easily, openly and well readably, even in very small sizes. Bavaoir was designed for the URW++ FontForum.

Introducing Redflick the display font, with consistent characters and a modern italic style. It has a naughty and unique look. The form has a firm consistency. I'd say that adds to its charm—and it does. It's great for headlines and titles, but also very easy to read in sentence form. Umbilical Noose is a rather scary typeface. It is quite similar to an older font of mine: Nyctophobia. The name comes from a Nirvana song called Heart Shaped Box, in which Kurt Cobain sings: "throw down your umbilical noose, so I can climb right back". I have always liked that phrase a lot. Umbilical Noose is an all caps font, but upper and lower case are different and you can easily interchange the glyphs.

Dark Star is a modern, futuristic typeface with a sci-fi, high-tech look. The letter design is a geometric sans but also slightly rounded to make a more organic and natural impression. The suggested use for Dark Star is logo design, headlines in editorial design, packaging, web and print titles and game design. Arid should be used in point sizes of 12 and larger and is well-suited for headlines and short to middle-length texts.

The complete Quan font family designed by Chatnarong Jingsuphatada of Bangkok-based Typesketchbook consists of a very usable, clean and modern sans typeface and a rounded sub-family. The font looks clean and geometric but it’s designed with unusual stylistic features to give the Quan font a special and unique touch. The complete Quan type family includes eight weights with obliques and rounded versions for each of them all in all 32 fonts.

The Tempo font family was designed by R. Hunter Middleton and released between 1930 and 1931. The instant success of Futura in 1927 led to many similar designs, and Tempo is the version produced by the Ludlow foundry for large headlines in newpapers. Like Futura, Tempo font is basically geometric, but shows some humanistic influence. Tempo is popular for newspaper and commercial printing, and the heavy condensed font is excellent for headlines.

Greenwich is a modern-looking humanized sans-serif typeface with open aperture, inspired by the works of English typographers in 1910s–1920s. It comes in 9 weights accompanied with matching mixed-style italics. Containing over 950 glyphs, Greenwich offers extensive language support including Cyrillic, multiple OpenType features and numerous alternate glyphs to choose from. It works great in long paragraph texts, but is expressive enough to be used in headlines and branding applications as well.

Clunic is a Blackletter font in the best traditions of Victorian Gothic revival—that is to say aesthetically marvelous but no historical basis whatsoever. The design combines the perpendicular character of medieval manuscripts with modern legibility and a healthy respect for calligraphic principles. There are alternate large and small forms of some glyphs. Clunic is ideal for use on certificates, themed invitations, posters, headings, initial capitals or sign-writing with an historic theme.

Boleo is a typeface designed to work in short texts such as headlines, banners, logos, signs, packaging and posters. It is a display font but has a good legibility thanks to well-proportioned shapes which let it works fine both on paper and screen. Supra-compressed – designed by Gert Wiescher in 2013 – is the extreme version of this family. But despite it being very slim it is still – because of its openness – a very readable font. The light and normal weights and the dominant x-height with its high ascenders make for easy reading of long copy. The heavy and x-light weights are great for elegant headlines. Supra is a versatile OpenType family with lots of different weights.

Spirodelic is a funky pop-art font with a sassy vintage vibe. This all-capitals design incorporates coiled spirals into the letters, and will add a lot of swirly psychedelic fun to your designs. It's great for retro seventies looks of course, but really also works well on anything modern that needs a loose and lighthearted touch, like kids books, toy packaging, flavored drinks, clothing lines, surf gear, logos... you name it.

Maraka is a handwritten font family, drawn with a paint marker on rough paper, then scanned and turned into vector format. Maraka has a lot of alternative letters and is available in three versions: “Regular”, characterized by an unique look obtained by drawing the letters on a rough sheet, "Solid" and "Serif". Maraka is ideal for large headers, straplines and typographic compositions, but it still gives a great dynamic effect when writing wordy paragraphs.

The hand lettered title on the sheet music for "Gee, But I'd Like to Make You Happy" (from the 1930 MGM motion picture "Good News") presented a conundrum. Some of the lettering was a classic Art Deco "thick and thin" design while the others resembled comic book title lettering. Leaning toward the comic book style, the conflicting letters were revised and the finished result became Funny Business JNL; available in both regular and oblique versions.

Sharpe is a stylish serif typeface family. The type has been drawn by Måns Grebäck during 2018 and 2019. It is clear, sharp and has brave, lively letter forms but with a conservative backbone. The five font weights balance beautifully in contrast to each other, and each weight has an italic equivalent, totaling in ten styles from Thin to Black. Each style contains ligatures and support for a wide range of languages.

The 1934 Dick Powell-Ruby Keeler-Joan Blondell movie musical "Dames" gave us the classic song "I Only Have Eyes for You", but the sheet music for the song had the movie title hand lettered in a multi-line Art Deco sans serif design that just begged to be turned into a type font. From these few letters now comes Deco Multiline JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.
