Say hello to Boyish & Weird! (I actually don't know what boyish is, but I do like how that word looks with these letters.) I had a lot of fun making this weird little font. It has oval cutouts, heavy lines, and plenty of whimsical details.

Zesty Lime is a condensed typeface, hand made with a small brush and China ink. Zesty would look good on book covers, posters and packaging - but I guess you're not limited to those three options. Just enjoy! Comes with a generous squeeze of diacritics.

Kensington started life as a sans serif based loosely on the strokes and weights of Garamond but, inevitably, influences of Gill Sans crept in, creating an interesting mix. The single weight is excellent for titling and works as a body font in reasonably small quantities.

Diplomatic is another script from the Koziupa and Paul duo. It relies on calligraphic simplicity to reach its artistic sophistication. Prominent ascenders and descenders work alongside calculated but casual strokes to produce an unmistakably elegant typesetting. Designed by Koziupa and digitized by Ale Paul.

Joe Shmoe is the regular guy, the one who doesn't attract too much attention, but is always there when you need him. So is Joe Shmoe font: it is an easy-going, regular, nothing fancy kinda font and it comes with all the accents!

Based on script handwriting and engraving used in formal announcements and invitations, the Florentine Script font lends itself to typesetting in which an elegant mood is desired. Florentine Script, Citadel, Flemish Script, and Old Fashion Script have similar lowercase letters but unique flourished capitals.

Tuzonie imitates misprinted or degraded and distressed type. It especially imitates type where the outline has only small imperfections, (which at smaller sizes might even appear fairly-well defined) but where the imperfections in the interior of the letter shapes are more obvious and frequent.

Ellisea (pronounced L-S-E) blends traditional letter shapes with straight lines to project a strong, unique image perfect for display purposes or medium-length text blocks. Ellisea is best used in printed material but is attractive in small sizes on screen as well.

Mr Stickman is a happy clappy kind of font, inspired by an older font of mine called Oranjerie. Oranjerie is an all caps typeface, but Mr Stickman comes with lower case letters - AND - a Stickman Action Figures pack! What more could you possibly want?

An early design, but it has its moments. It is very narrow and spindly in the vertical strokes, so it really only makes sense to use fairly large point sizes, and for short phrases. Vowels are included, and just for variety, cantillations are also included

Here's a page from the Page Company, circa 1850, originally called Doric. This version is reasonably faithful to the original, but streamlined for better reporduction at a variety of sizes. Both versions support the Latin 1252, Central European 1250, Turkish 1254 and Baltic 1257 codepages.

CS are the initials of Carsten Strinkau, a young German graphic and type designer who studied in Hamburg. CS Courthand is based on 16 hundred century English monks handwriting. Text in CS Courthand looks like a pattern, like a text-carpet, but still readable.

Wickenburg is a rough and tumble grunge slab typeface that has taken a lickin' but keeps on coming back for more. It is a powerful heavyweight serif that makes a strong design statement. Pick up this bad boy and take him for a ride!

The name says it all. It is aesthetically located between American Gothics and European Grotesques and features small caps, a Central European character set and four number formats plus small caps numerals. This makes it not only a heartbreaking headline font, but also extremely versatile.

Like the study of Kremlinology, this font is an interpretation of Soviet culture for Western audiences. Based on a vintage Russian poster but not in the original Cyrillic, it is an attempt to capture the feel of the era if not the actual characters.

Sauce Grotesk is a compact typeface much like the classic unassuming sans serif grotesques but with softer features that shows fluidity and a sense of easiness. We wanted a typeface that can relate to a broader audience for maximum message clarity while maintaining aesthetic qualities.

An inky script font written by a madman from the cabin deep in the forest. Moonshine Script has a regular set of uppercase and lowercase script letters but also condensed capital letters that you can access by switching SmallCaps on and writing with CAPS.

Search Party is a handwritten font, made with a Sharpie pen. It is a little wild, a little uneven, but legible and perfectly suited to be used in your designs. Comes with extensive language support and a set of alternates for the lower case letters.

Jerky Tash is supposed to look somewhat handwritten, that’s why it has got jumpy letters, different sized serifs and a loose kerning. The font is spaced to look okay when used without kerning, but the font definitely deserves to be viewed using the kerning pairs!

The name ‘HARBER’ comes from the first letters drawn. It is a sans serif family designed of dots on a grid, that gives it this round and rhythmic aesthetic. Only dots grow, approaching or moving away, changing the aspect of letters but keeping its characteristics.

This came from an early-1900s lettering book. Never was an actual font, but it has a quaint look that should be useful. We hate to see alphabets just fade away, which is why we make fonts like this. We added a few touches.

Garcia is a modern take on a Serif-style typeface. I created a serif style but with added contrast and make a contemporary and memorable font. Sharp points mix with smooth curves creating unique glyphs that are perfect for interesting wordmarks and typographic posters.

You may recognize the looks of Retroxoid - if not, then let me help you out: Retroxoid is actually a font I made back in 2007. I ran prints of the font, through a very bad copymachine, used a wet cloth to make the print look worn, scanned the prints and voila! Retrozoid, my very first Open Type font, was born! Now in 2010, Retroxoid has risen from the past, and is ready to burst your designs with clean, round and futuristic shapes!

I’m a bit of a sucker for neon lights, especially in big cities. My favourite city is Tokyo, with its brightly coloured billboards and its back alleys full of neon-lit eateries. At first sight, Neon Goo is a slightly warped font, with some funny looking glyphs and a generous spacing. When you start using it, you’ll find out that the glyphs do complement each other! Neon Goo comes with all diacritics and a set of alternates for the lower case letters.

Hanah Hebrew without cantillation marks, very much used in everyday modern Hebrew. I have added Alternate Stylistics with just some additional cantillation marks which in some cases may be necessary. Use the Character Map (Windows) or Character Viewer (Mac) to access these characters. Unlimited Fractions can be obtained. A few scant examples of die cut gummed letters (R, C, Y and &) provided the design inspiration for Adhesive Serif Letters JNL. Influenced by the Caslon style, this typeface offers clean, legible titling. The sample letters were once manufactured by the Tablet and Ticket Company of Chicago and sold under their brand name of Willson's [named for the founder of the company]. Gummed letter sets were available in a variety of styles and sizes for various sign, merchandising and marking needs.

El Guapo is a hand drawn font available in sans serif and script faces. It is suitable for headlines and call outs of all kinds where a hand made look is desired. The letters were drawn by Prissy Pots owner Erin Solomon and include regular and bold versions. Each face also includes an entirely separate set of lowercase letters accessible in your glyphs palette. These extra letter will automatically show up with contextual alternates turned on for a more natural, random look.

Creating Halla was a bit unusual for me since I started out creating the italic version first and that inspired the name Halla, meaning to tilt in Icelandic. It is also a fairly common female name in Iceland. “Halla” is derived from old Norse word “hallr” = 'flat stone, rock' or 'sloping, leaning to one side' Halla is a true italic inspired by handwriting and mechanical type. The combination of Light and Italic makes Halla ideal for advertising, branding, signage, packaging and editorial design.

Designed for a wide range of applications, Gentona was intended to support the goals of contemporary design paired with a mostly swiss oriented demand on typography – neutrality. The result is a nine-weight neo-grotesque family ranging from sharp and fine thin cuts to muscle-bound and strong heavy weights. Gentona’s confident and open shapes support legibility especially in small sizes while its alternative shapes and letterforms create flexibility. A wide range of typographic features round up the whole family.

ALS Ekibastuz is a contemporary urban-style typeface extremely suitable for periodicals and advertising. It has defined, open, clear-cut letterforms and modern proportions. Originally designed to work well for headings, Ekibastuz was developed further to give a distinct energetic feel when used at large sizes and be highly readable and neutral at small sizes. It consists of six font styles and offers a wide choice of weights, which is useful for creating contrast between boxes of text on a page.

Winner of the "no prizes for guessing" category, Overlapper's main feature is that the letters overlap slightly. I thought it best to just come straight out with it. In case there's someone just recovering from a lobotomy. There's an extended character set with accented letters and extensive punctuation, in case you need to do anything more than basic displays and titles. The package contains both OTF and TTF versions - install either OTF or TTF, not both versions on the same machine.

An image spotted on the internet of a brass shipping stencil for the Royal Quality Brand (for the John H. Fitch Company of Youngstown, Ohio – a coffee and spice merchant). The lettering style for “Royal Quality” was a hand-cut, condensed, slightly flared sans serif with various character flourishes, giving the letters a stylish, somewhat regal look. Expanding on this idea, a full character set was developed and redrawn digitally as Royal Stencil JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.
