Millie is a stressed, geometric script who spends her days as industrial lettering and her nights paired with blackletter on the patches of motorcycle gangs. Millie was weighted by the conventions of broad nib calligraphy, inspired by the Milwaukee Tools logo, and finds herself best used in logos and titles. She was designed to be used on about a 20 degree angle, though she looks just fine on a level plane. The typeface Fry was developed in 2008 specially for the Sky-Fish company (fish and seafood dealer). Type is designed for small texts, it has friendly and fairytale historic flavor. Fry takes openness and dynamism of humanistic sans serif, simple and softness of lubok's letters (primitive style) and fluidity of shallow marine fry. Despite of funny style, Fry works well even in the 5 point size. In large sizes Fry demonstrates its originality, vivacity and softness, in the small characteristics become less visible, and Fry's readability becomes more important. So this makes the typeface suitable for many tasks of typography. The typeface includes extended set of Latin, old style and lining figures, historical alternates and special local features. The combination of lubok's aesthetics and funny dynamic forms make a nature of Fry. Fry was exhibited at the Svjato Kyrylyci (Kharkov, Ukraine) festival in 2008. Drone is a deliberately misproportioned typeface, inspired by hand-drawn lettering found in Spanish/Hispanic Catholic churches in the Philippines and Los Angeles. These naive letterforms appeared to be ‘copies of copies’ – and in aiming to recreate the beauty of the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel they instead created something unique with its own charm and beauty. An ad in the Oct. 27, 1919 issue of the trade magazine “The Moving Picture World” promoted “Princess Virtue” from Bluebird Pictures starring Mae Murray – The Adorable [as noted by the movie studio in the ad]. The Art Nouveau hand lettering emulated the style usually drawn with a round nib pen, but was given a specialized treatment for the ad. It was re-drawn in a more traditional ‘pen nib’ look for digital revival. The end result is Silent Movies JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Insan, designed by Ihsan Al-Hammouri in 2005, is a modern Arabic typeface in three different weights. The design is based on simplified Naskh with a very low modulated stroke treatment. It is suited for text settings, especially in brochures and magazines. It is characterized by a large body height and open counters and as such can be used in small sizes. The font includes a matching Latin design and support for Arabic, Persian, and Urdu. It also includes proportional and tabular numerals for the supported languages.

“Nasser” is a Kufic modern Arabic typeface. It is suitable for books' covers, advertisement light boards, and titles in magazines and newspapers. It is very distinctive when used in black and white printout. It decorates colored pages and makes artworks more attractive. This font comes in three different weights. My father’s name is “Nasser”. Consequently, “Nasser” Typeface was designed for eternizing the memory of my late father. He was the person who taught me how to like arts, literature, and languages. Besides, my first cute child is named also “Nasser.” The main characteristic of “Nasser” Typeface is in its modern non-descender style for some of its Arabic characters such as “Sad”, “Seen”, “Sheen”, “Qaf” and others. This type of Richard Gans, has always seemed very striking, despite having the complexity of the sources extrusion, has its own personality, and readability unusual for this type of letters. Use it for composing posters, programs or logos was very common at the time. My father, Antonio Lage Parapar, typographer by profession, who composed the texts, which not only had it for profession, but he liked to do, always he spoke of sources and decorative elements of the type foundry Richard Gans, as well as other foundries, especially those that required the mender of them, exercised creator, many of these types they have already been recovered by professionals and companies with excellent results. I've been surrounded by these movable type, and the occasional catalog unfortunately lost. One of those guys that has always struck me visually speaking was the type IMAN Richard Gans, the typographer and more of German origin arrived in Spain, back in 1874, also a pioneer. This work to revive the type mentioned, as well as create non existing glyphs between documents and parts I've been finding, is and has been a personal pleasure all I want serve as a tribute to my father (of aopodo curiously "Richard"), the only sadness it has not been completed. Richard Gans, arrived in Spain in 1874 as a representative of several European factories. then liaised with journalistic and publishing companies, which led him knowledge required of the first sector art. In 1878 he created a center importer gadgets graphic arts and three years later he created his own type foundry. The first rotary newspaper ABC, very famous and the most advanced of the time, the brand manufactured Richard Gans.

I arrived this concept as a means to fulfil a need for a simple yet radical semi-sans with rounded terminals. My concept called for a modular approach so a single weight font family resulted, the monoline stroke weights being one-eighth of the cap height and the x-height five-eights, the descent two units. Within these constraints I found it was simple to devise an alphabet which met my need for quirkiness whilst retaining its legibility. As for the outline, shadow and contour variants - well they just seem to work. If you are wondering - and you don't hail from the "Land Downunder" - Canberra is our nation's capital; Bondi - "water breaking over rocks" a beautiful beach in Sydney; Uluru is the name given to the world's largest pebble, (formerly known as Ayers Rock); Kakadu is a national park in the "Top End" and Koomerang means "hill of clouds" - all place names in their respective Australian indigenous languages. Come on down - the natives are friendly.

Gandur is a display textura in three weights, split into two families: Alte — the German word for old — and New. Gandur was inspired by other geometric texturas, specially Max Bittrof’s Element (1933). The design began by adhering to a strict hexagonal grid, but during its development, slowly moved from a purely geometric to a more pen-based design (this is especially true in the heaviest weights). The differences between Alte and New are essentially morphological, with reflections in the character set and OpenType features. Gandur New has a more humanistic, contemporary structure and is more ‘romanized’ then Alte. Gandur New also features small capitals. Gandur Alte, on the other hand, remains truer to historical forms, most notably: S s X x Z z. Gandur Alte also features the long-s, which can be accessed via a Stylistic Set or the glyph palette. (As is historically accurate, a short-s will be used at the end of words automatically when the historical Stylistic Set has been activated).

Époque Seria is that kind of person who looks really cute when angry. This font was derived from the Époque family. She is the little sister to Époque - a little shorter with her smaller x-height and — how do you say it in the typographic circle — your eyes are also smaller (and you know you squint when things get serious, isn't it?). The genealogy of these font face is undeniable, but Époque Seria has a ‘personality’ very different from her older sister. The reduction of the x-height also shakes somewhat with the cap that had crossbar. To accompany the package of standardization, the letters that don't have their straight axes were changed, which brought to the set more Cs and Gs contemporaries.
