Cicada is an elegant and modern sans-serif font family. It includes upright and Italic style, each of them has five weights from Extra light to bold. This family, in normal and bold weights, is based on Advertisers Gothic, designed by Robert Wiebking for Barnhart Brothers & Spindler in 1917. The original might be considered a transitional design between Art Nouveau and Art Deco; this version accentuates the Deco traits, adding a thick-and-thin treatment not found in the original. The large x-height and short descenders allow for compact, commanding headlines with a carefree charm, a.k.a. bell'agio. Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin, 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).

Lasta is small serif font family with simple elegant shapes, refreshing Italics and poetic endings. Containing 2 weights and 2 italics, with lower x-height which brings more air (empty space, white space...) into paragraphs making text more graceful and legible. Epitet, a subtle compact type family with a modern mixture of geometrical and simple shapes, comes in 6 weights, from Thin to Bold. It is a clean elegant sans serif typeface, with a small x-height. Epitet is highly legible in all sizes. Very versatile and easy to use, Epitet can be used in a wide range of corporate and editorial applications. I'm sure Epitet could get even more epitets, but the appropriate use of Epitet would be the biggest one it could get.

Bluestar is a roundhand script with modern touch. It has round terminals and quite low stroke contrast. It has five weights in upright and italic styles. Bluestar has two sets of capital letters; one is more basic and subtle and the other (Stylistic Set 1) is bigger and fancier. Bluestar has also lots of alternates for ascender, descenders, end swashes etc. to give a good amount of possibilities to play with and make some unique designs. It also has few options for tails and underlines.

Quador Display is a serif, especially designed for contemporary typography on print and screen. Royal Crescent is an all caps display sans with an emphasis on elegance and simplicity. The uniform width is consistent throughout creating low contrast in all three weights. There are slight variations, between a few upper and lowercase characters which can be used interchangeably. Titling was its primary purpose but will prove useful in a variety of situations. Use it for web headers, a magazine, or a luxury logo. This family is equipped with Basic/Extended Latin, punctuation, symbols, diacritics, Cyrillic, kerning, and fractions.

Klartext [plain talking, clear words] A modern monospaced type family of 10 weights. Klartext Mono combines a classical monospaced font and modern monolined sans-serif with a humanistic touch. It is characterized by a large x-height, slightly condensed glyphs with well shaped curves and soft strokes. As a special feature, Klartext contains a bunch of uncommon glyphs like the German capital sharp S, a nice arrowset and a basic phonetic alphabet (20 letters in IPA Extensions, some more in Latin Basic thru Extended B).

Vonique 43 is a stylish display font designed to stop passerby in their tracks. Curvaceous lowercase members define this font along with a consistently thin line weight throughout. Most are elegantly styled after circles featuring very short descenders and matching the cap height of capital letters. Vonique 43, like its predecessors, was not designed for everyday text, but eye catching logos. It's equipped with support for many different languages including Russian and Greek. Gazpacho is inspired by the serif typefaces used in editorial media in the 70s and 80s. Eleven out of ten typographers have confirmed that Tabac Big Slab can be used both on the facades of majestic villas and on the most ordinary typesetting of labels and medication package inserts, where it saves both space and tired eyes. A typeface especially constructed with attention for the Swedish language. Waldemar Zachrisson was determined to realize his ideas and in 1906 he began to cooperate with the foundry Genzsch & Heyse, based in Hamburg. Some influences of Jugendt can be found and the typeface were released in 1910. It became rather popular until around 1930. The MRF version includes 7 weights all together.

Transat Text is a geometric sans serif typeface, and is the more rational sibling to the unabashedly Art Deco "Transat". Transat Text has a slightly taller x-height than its counterpart, making it easier to read at small sizes, but also performs admirably in larger display settings. Transat Text includes many OpenType features, such as ligatures, small capitals, case sensitive forms, stylistic alternates, arbitrary fractions, and a full complement of proportional, tabular, and oldstyle figures. The Transat Text family includes 5 weights plus optically-corrected obliques.

Viktor Solt-Bittner drew logo sketches for an insurance company. Luckily for Schriftlabor, they rejected the design, and he turned the sketches into a font family. Years later, Plantago was expanded, developed and completed by Schriftlabor’s type directors Franziska Hubmann and Lisa Schultz. Plantago shows delicate leaf-like stroke endings and subtle curvings and offers condensed and wide variants. Typeset in 6 weights from Light to Black, 3 widths from Condensed to Extended, both upright and italic, totaling in no less than 36 styles.

ITC Fontoon was designed by Steve Zafarana of the Galápagos Design Group in 1995. Along with ITC Fontoonies and ITC Gargoonies from the same designers, it is the perfect text font for cartoons and comics. Slight irregularities in stroke contrast and basic forms distinguish ITC Fontoon and make it look like printed handwriting. It has an individual and consciously naive character and its high x-height makes it legible even in smaller point sizes. ITC Fontoon is best used for short texts and headlines.

This is a geometric uncial font with a retro/art-deco feel. It comes in four weights, each in upright and oblique styles. It has Unicode coverage for Latin, Greek (modern diacritics only), and Cyrillic, plus the Euro and peace signs. This font began as part of a project to design a local currency. Sadly, the municipality canceled the endeavor before the design competition had started. I'm including one of the prototypes in the gallery section as an example of this font’s many uses.

Stylish, elegant, and alluring, Sekhmet got its name from the lion-headed war goddess of ancient Egypt. And the typeface does possess a kind of feline, forward-directed energy - a result of its calligraphic detailing combined with a very slight slope in the roman. Sekhmet is essentially a display face; still, it's as carefully crafted as any of the designer's text fonts and so also works well in reasonably large text blocks, especially at larger point sizes. Comes with a book-weight roman and calligraphic italic.

Curve is a modern neo-classical typeface family with some features of the Didone genre, but especially designed for contemporary typography. A large x-height not only creates space in the letters for extra-bold styles, but also lends Curve an open and generous character in the more narrow and semi-bold versions. It has 616 glyphs with small caps, numbers and ligatures in 10 weights. Curve is a contemporary serif typeface, special for logos, brands, magazines and editorial and for setting trends in fashion and design.

Insan, designed by Ihsan Al-Hammouri in 2005, is a modern Arabic typeface in three different weights. The design is based on simplified Naskh with a very low modulated stroke treatment. It is suited for text settings, especially in brochures and magazines. It is characterized by a large body height and open counters and as such can be used in small sizes. The font includes a matching Latin design and support for Arabic, Persian, and Urdu. It also includes proportional and tabular numerals for the supported languages.

Schuss Sans CG Poster 1 upright OTF Font Latin extended, Cyrillic and Greek. Specially developed for headline poster display sizes. A Sans Black Headline-Font in addition to the Schuss superfamily. The heights are optimized for big sizes, different to the text fonts of the Superfamily Schuss. The character set is slightly different to the non poster styles too. Biennale is a geometric typeface with a strong character and a large x-height which make it an excellent choice for a wide range of applications, such as headlines or branding. Although common in style, Biennale distinctive details and color on the page allow users to create really unique designs. The font comes in 11 weights, from Hair to Heavy, and includes matching italics. Polydot is an experimental Font, built following its own rules. It has interesting letter shapes, making it a perfect choice for creative packaging and magazine design. At the same time it makes a beautiful, neat but vivid text pattern when used in smaller sizes: Use it for children’s books, food and beverage, cosmetics or health topics. Each Glyph is based on at least one dot on the body line, and has up to two more on the lower case level and the ascender level. Since they have the same size and are on the same height on all letters, no matter what weight and shape, these dots give a strong structure to the typeface, allowing for dynamic and easy letter shapes, inspired by brush strokes. It’s not a hand font but it has the dynamics of one. It has no serifs but provides the structure and readability of a roman type.
