Sihmitree is a gimmick typeface in which all glyphs have reflective (mirror) or rotational symmetry (or both). Sihmitree has two weights and is caps only, with most of the lower-case letters identical to the upper-case letters. It includes only those accented characters that are symmetrical. The letters of the alphabet are often used to explain symmetry. BCDEK are given as examples of shapes that can easily be formed with symmetry over a horizontal line. AMQTUVWY can easily be formed so that they mirror over a vertical line. Letters HIOX can be formed so they mirror over both horizontal and vertical lines, and as a result they will also have rotational symmetry. Letters NSZ can be formed so that they reproduce themselves with a rotation of 180º. That leaves letters FGJLPR, which are usually considered examples of asymmetry. However, there are script versions of J, L, and R that can be formed with symmetry, and variants of lower-case f and g can be made that are symmetrical. P looks a lot like the thorn character. Some of the numbers also present challenges when trying to form them symmetrically. The symmetrical alphabet is not stylistically harmonious and has limited use other than as an exploration of symmetry.

Giambattista Bodoni was an Italian engraver, printer, and publisher who was one of the best typographers of the 18th century and became known worldwide for his iconic serif typeface. Cora is a sans serif with an experimental bent, offering a large x-height, some contrast of stroke weight, and capitals inspired by classical lettering. The large x-height gives it a voice with a little more volume so that those in the back of the room have no trouble hearing. Because the letters seem slightly large, Cora remains clear at smaller point sizes. It is a typeface intended to perform well on screen without losing its attraction in print and the nature of its shapes allows for condensation or expansion without becoming severely distorted. The uppercase exhibits classical proportions found in ancient Roman inscriptions, which provides opportunities for setting titles in all caps. Cora Opentype Pro has a full range of numerals for every use, small caps, the most common open type features and supports many languages that use the latin extended alphabet. Cut as a private version for the Nonesuch Press in the early 1930s, Monotype Bulmer was first released for general use in 1939. Based on types, cut by William Martin circa 1790, used by the Printer, William Bulmer, in a number of prestigious works, including Boydell's Shakespeare. Martins types combined beauty with functionality. Narrower and with a taller appearance than Baskerville, it anticipated the modern face of Bodoni but retained vital qualities from the old face style. IMPORTANT: This is the VARIABLE VERSION of PG GROTESQUE This is my interpretation of Edel Grotesk – a “lost typeface” from circa 1914 produced by Johannes Wagner GmbH of Ingolstadt, Germany. PG Grotesque is definitely not a revival, or even a faithful reproduction of that typeface as I was unable to source enough accurate references. What I have done is take the essence and unique characteristics of that typeface and brought this forgotten gem right into the 21st century. Font family Titla Brus was developed as an extension of Titla, released earlier in 2009. Poplar is an Adobe Originals typeface designed by Barbara Lind in 1990 for the Adobe Wood Type series. Poplar, a Gothic condensed, was designed from photographs taken by Rob Roy Kelly of the one surviving copy of an 1830 William Leavenworth type specimen book. Leavenworth possessed unusual artistic abilities, and his treatment of the letterform counters as narrow slits made it the only wood type of its kind displayed during the nineteenth century. Poplar is an excellent display face, its simplicity making it useful for a broad range of work.

Introducing Terrapin! I named this after listening to a song called "Terrapin on a Tightrope." Considering the fact that a terrapin is a kind of turtle, it makes that song title seem pretty harrowing! This font has heavy roots in one of my favorite lettering styles. It's rough, scrappy, and likes to do its own thing. It has a full uppercase and lowercase set, numbers, punctuation, and lots of extended Latin characters for language support. It also includes alternate versions of 17 lowercase letters. Where Terrapin really shines is in the ligatures. I've written separate two- and three-letter combined forms for some of the most common letter combinations, and a few uncommon ones to boot. There are almost 100 ligatures in here, all PUA-encoded so everyone can access them (and also coded so if your software does automatic ligature replacement, they'll pop right in).

Preta, portuguese for a very pure kind of black, has its name very related to its concept: I wanted to make the fattest/darkest script ever. People who follow my work may notice its forms are very related to works of my past (1) but this time the challenge was to be very cautious with the white spaces between letters. Not only I followed some rules and ductus of the copperplate style of calligraphy but also I took a lot of inspiration in posters of the early Art Nouveau (specially in Alfred Roller of the Vienna Secession) where letters forms looked like black squares if not looked from a close distance. With Preta, I wanted to achieve that same idea of “darkness” and thanks to the always welcomed question -what if?- the font grew a lot. The result is a very fat font, that looks delicious. Due to possible customer needs, I designed Preta Small, so it can be used in smaller sizes. Preta Ao Sol (which literally means under the sun!) is a style with those lovely tiny details to give the sensation of bright. Preta Ao Sol Solo was made to be used as a layered font with Preta. Finally, Preta Capitals serves as a company for Preta. Hope you enjoy the font as much as I did when designing it: The fact that it’s full of alternates, swashes, ligatures and swirls makes it really pleasurable at the moment of using it. Street art has become so inspiring that it's been featured on a range of mediums from advertising to album art. Thanks to the emergence of street art in the mainstream media. Dopestar is a heavy font that has a bold grafitti feel whilst being super clear to read, Dopestar is certainly versatile. Smashed Typeface is a reversed-contrast, slab serif, display font. Was inspired by the old west days that we can often see in printing, circus posters and wanted notices in western movies, even tho the style was really used in many parts of the world during that period. This style is sometimes called as "circus letter" too. Was designed to have a modern look, using straighter lines and an extended style, can be used on various situations like posters, logos for restaurants, alternative business like an old washing station (as you can see on the next images), music bands etc. I believe that is a promising typography that can be used by various designers in a lot of diverse project. It counts with 226 multi language characters, one weight on version 1.0, on a next version I hope to take this project to another level, creating a variable typeface from condensed to really extended weights. It would complete this typography and eliminate the limits of use.

The font name comes from the Dutch word "Rijk" meaning "rich". I'd like you to consider Rijk as a good Pinot Noir: medium bodied, offering succulent juicy berry flavors, accentuated by delicate aromas of coffee and vanilla oak. Ruby red in color, it boasts of velvety tannins and a long fulfilling fruity aftertaste. Rijk has a structure that is delicate and fresh. The aromatics are very fruity like cherry, strawberry, and plum, often with notes of tea-leaf, damp earth, or worn leather… My intent was to create a script that is rich, while not overbearing. It will serve many noble and useful purposes because of its fresh and lively texture. It is also very legible because it has a slightly more upright angle. Use Rijk for headlines, packaging, identities, advertising and online. Available in OpenType, it includes a range of ligatures as well as a full range of class kerning.

I have a lot of pencils, but when I need one, they seem to have grown legs and have disappeared! When I decided I wanted to create a pencil font, it took me a long time to find the right pencil for the job! Wandering Pencil is a nice, handmade font. It is a bit shaky, a bit rough, but it does have class and will look nice on your designs! Comes with diacritics and double letter ligatures for the lower case.

The inspiration source for Verre Monogram is an unusual hand-drawn letterset from a vintage embroidery publication which comes off more as a Drop Cap or Initial lettering style than monogram. Although its original intention is uncertain, it has many possibilities. This monogram design from the early 1900’s has been updated from a Capitals only to a Caps/Smallcaps set with decorative linking ornamentation. The unique stained glass look of the letterforms allows for a lot of play with manual coloring, and the newly created linking ornaments offer interesting bracelet monogram design options.
