A crumpet is a small griddle bread, mostly enjoyed in the UK, North America, Australia and New Zealand. It is reasonable to assume that a majority of people interested in typography will attempt some variation on the blackletter theme at some time or another. However, there seems to be a paucity of open-faced designs in this style and, having played around with a few thoughts, eventually I came up with RM Whiteletter.
