The Stempel foundry in Germany produced this version of Garamond in 1925 as a replica of a typeface of a French punchcutter Claude Garamond (middle of the 16th century). This design has an angular incised appearance which is unlike other Garamond types. It is also slightly heavier in weight, and is highly readable as a text face. After the Second World War, the Ionic style replaced Modern Face as the favored typeface for newsprint. Silent Echo - the name just popped up! I didn’t hear and echo, nor is it very silent here (with three kids running around). Silent Echo is a handmade all caps font. Quite neat, very legible and full of swashes!

Antidote is a grungy 3-D font. It is hand drawn and has been given a 'cracked' look. Looks great in headlines, titles and on packaging, but I wouldn't set a text in it as it is quite heavy.

Fonts without curved lines were quite popular in Victorian times. We drew this one back in the days of T-squares and triangles, and based it on a type that we felt could stand to be improved. (Arrogant, eh?)

This stylish lightface was designed by Bernd Nadall for Barnhart Bros. & Spindler as a caps-only font in 1895. The lowercase was added at Solotype a hundred years later, resulting in a font quite at home in modern advertising.

This circa 1910 European face was introduced into the United States by a German type foundry traveling salesman during the great depression of the 1930s. We have used it quite successfuly in sizes as small as 10 and 12 point.

The Roamer is big, bold and ready to be used by designers all over the globe. The appearance is quite rough and used like weathered wood or paint on concrete. It is perfect for big headlines or bold text passages.

Based on one of the earliest Tuscans, from Thorowgood's foundry. The original was very poorly rendered in 1822, but keep in mind that decorative types were still quite new in the early 1800s. We redrew it, but kept it recognizable.

Mixing the vertical to horizontal stroke weight ratio of a sans-serif font while adding serifs is the idea that inspired this face. The result is a typeface with unique display features that is also quite readable at text sizes.

Many similar fonts existed in Europe around 1900 and a bit before. This one was made at the Wollmer Foundry in Germany and, except for adding the requisite modern monetary symbols and other such niceties, we preserved it quite faithfully.

Bumper Sticker is a nice, uncomplicated display font. It is quite loud, a little heavy boned and very in-your-face. You could use it to design more bumper stickers, but I am sure you will come up with something better.
