Compilation Grotesk is a variable font concept that includes 9 sort of adjustable heights inspired principally on Matterhorn Headliners 2. I took Arquà’s curvy lines from some details in art nuveau posters from late 1800 / early ‘900, then I added to the mix a little bit of elegance with some weird contrast (look at the S). One hour in the hoven and a modern looking display font came out in 2 weights: Goodboy and the doppelganger Badboy perfect to mix up.

I like the expression ‘being on tenterhooks’. Not that I’m on tenterhooks very often! Tenterhooks was made with a broken satay skewer (see poster 2 for the actual thing) and Chinese ink. It came out rather rough, but it does have a nice flow and a certain ‘wild elegance’. Comes with double letter ligatures and a whole bunch of diacritics.

German type designer Frank Heine created this display FontFont in 1994. The family contains 2 weights: Light and Bold and is ideally suited for festive occasions, editorial and publishing, poster and billboards as well as software and gaming. FF Instanter provides advanced typographical support with features such as ligatures and case-sensitive forms. It comes with proportional lining and proportional oldstyle figures.
