Meleo is a semiserif consisting of 10 fonts with a few original quirks but still very legible at both text and display sizes. Since its conception, the aim was a balance of uniqueness and functionality. The typeface owes its energy to the slight suggestion of calligraphic crafting and humanist structure. But it also breaks the rules: a small x-height and a whimsical uppercase with resemblance to the lowercase may render Meleo more friendly than a conventional (semi-)serif. Vaccine Sans is a humanist sans-serif font family with soft terminals, but stem junctions on the contrary use hard constructions. Such combination of basic design features makes the font distinct and strong in setting and delicate and soft in appearance. This design peculiarity, together with very low contrast, produces a range of qualities needed for small sizes, low quality print and bad reading conditions. URW Geometric® is a sans serif typeface inspired by the German geometric typefaces of the 1920s but designed for modern usability. AS Palmer Script & Sans This pair was inspired by the spirit of the past, when manual labor was common, and technology was just beginning to develop. It was crafted by hand specially for traditional typography lovers and anyone who want to add natural handmade feeling in brand identity. It comes with Regular and Aged versions that expands its posibilities in use. Opentype features Script font has 151 stylistic alternates and 3 variations of end-swashes with about 10 lengths of each style. Stylistic Alternates. The easiest way to get alternate character is to add number for example 2, 3 or 4 after any Uppercase. Each of them has from two up to five alternates. This combination works with activated Standard Ligatures option in Opentype panel (Photoshop / Illustrator). End-swashes. AS Palmer Script has 3 variants of end-swashes and about 10 lengths of each style. It works like Stylistic Alternates with activated Standard Ligatures in Opentype panel. Just add special combination at the end of the word, to get needed swash element and its length. Underscore, double underscore or slash is swash style. Number is length. For example: _3, __5, /6. Just try, it's easy. AS Palmer Sans - different Double letters. This feature work automatically with activated Contextual Alternates in Opentype panel. Squalo, the genesis The idea of this project called Squalo popped into my mind while I was working with excitement on some sketches. I was chasing after a strong typographical character, something that for me has to be crystallized in form which is always legible and functional. The concept The concept of Squalo arises from the observation of an athlete’s body: you notice that even if most are lean, they are also strong, cut and chiselled. The sport they play molds and modify their bodies.  Just think, for instance, on a professional swimmer: during the competition every single muscle, tendon, tissue, cell is working to swim faster. Every single part is there to give strength and speed like in a “squalo” (shark in italian). Not as an eel, nor as a mermaid, nor as a hake. Just like a shark. If you take a quick look, you will notice that the width of the typeface is slightly more condensed than that of a standard sans serif. We designed Squalo this way specifically to assist and strengthen your concepts through stylized typography. We designed the joins and terminals (tip ends) of the characters A, V, W, Z, v, w, z, to create a feeling of “tension”, reinforcing the concept of shark, danger, caution, as well explicit, intentional movement. Pure strength. We wanted to recall the exact moment of the start of the 100 meters race: when the sprinter initially spreads all of his powerful energy. The italic version, starting with the former two typographical concepts of width and tension, emphasizes them. First of all, we compressed the characters 10 percent more, and slanted it 10 degrees to the right. With this movement I intended to convey the gorgeous feeling of tension in power and rapidity. The typeface has 9 weights, from “hair” to “black”, and two versions, “regular” and “italic”.  All 18 fonts include small caps, unicase, tabular and oldstyle numbers, numerators and denominators, and much more.
