Torjus is so rigid and stiff typeface. While designing a more dry and stiff handwriting typeface, I tried to remove the Bezier curves. Geogrotesque Expanded Series comes in three widths: Wide, Extended and Expanded, that go between 120% and 200% of the normal width. Since the original Geogrotesque is slightly condensed, the Wide family becomes a good option for texts. Whereas the Extended and Expanded are ideal for display sizes. Dortmunder Ecke ("Dortmund Corner") is a clean, all caps font inspired by Cubism. It really has nothing to do with the city in Germany, but the name stuck and I kept it that way. Comes with a square amount of diacritics.

Just a hint of grunge in this font, one side fairly clean and one side with subtle grunge. Demigrunge lends itself readily to display, headlines and writing sentences without verbs in them. Just one style in this family. Lots of accented characters and extensive punctuation. Great for goth titles.

The initial inspiration for CA Spotnik was the opening title of an early Andrei Tarkovsky movie. There was this very unconventional hand drawn “s” which drew my attention. Despite its strange shape, it felt totally natural in that context. So we made a few screenshots and started to sketch some more letters in order to catch the spirit that attracted us so much. The result is a grotesque typeface with a slight contrast, the proportions are rather wide with a large x-height. The bolder the weight, the wider it gets. In case you find the swirly “s” uncomfortable, there is a standard s included as well. The general atmosphere of the typeface, which could be described as “nerdy but friendly” doesn’t depend on this detail. It’s rather the sum of details derived from the original inspiration.

Oilvare is a hand-drawn, layered typeface inspired by vintage painted signs and oil cans. While sturdy, it also has a softer side—wide proportions, oval-inspired forms, curled angle strokes, and a medium contrast all help give it a little bit of distinction from the typical sans serif. Sans Atwic Modern is a clean simple sans serif typeface. It has a universal and neutral look thanks to repeated vertically cut end strokes and thanks to letters that have similar width. Lowercase has higher x-height and its end strokes are open, that a guarantee for better legibility in smaller sizes. Alimentary (adjective): relating to nourishment or sustenance. If you've seen my other fonts, you know I tend to lean into food-based names. This name has to do with food and science combined, so it's double nerdy in the ways I like to be nerdy! I started with Alimentary Medium, which was inspired by my shorter, wider font MacGuffin - I wanted something taller, narrower, with a hip and retro feel. When I finished the Medium weight, I felt like I wanted a Light weight. Then a Heavy weight. Then I figured, "what the heck," and made an outline version of the Medium weight too. In the end, I wound up with four members of the Alimentary family, each with over 700 glyphs! Not only do they all have the basics (A-Z, a-z, 0-9, and tons of punctuation), but they also each have 330 characters for European language support, and a limited selection of Greek, Coptic, and Cyrillic characters. Plus a double handful of alternates and ligatures to add a little variety to your designs! And of course, all of the Alimentary fonts are super-smoothed, with reduced nodes and clean curves, so whether you're cutting them out, printing them, engraving them, or using them in a way I haven't even thought of, these fonts will be sharp and crisp!
