Wood Type Calendar JNL is a set of components for making monthly calendar pages. Based on a set of vintage wood type numbers, the dates 1 through 31 are found on the "A-Z" and "a-e" keys; the 23/30 and 24/31 ligatures are on the "f" and "g" keys. I am shocked to my very core that the name "Tropical Punch" hasn't been used for a font yet. What a delight, that my very first name choice is available, and I can grow my collection of fonts named after delicious food and drink! I built the Orchid Key font family from the ground up with the idea that there would be several different styles; the Inline Spurs style was the first to be built, which let me then subtract the spurs, inline slices, or both to make the other styles. A slightly regularized digital version of a late Baroque Fraktur type, probably from the beginning of the 18th century, issued by the Norstedts type foundry in Stockholm in 56 point size as "Sju petit fraktur nr 2". This digital font is designed for rather large sizes, at least 30 points. The font includes accented letters for all Western languages, as well as a long s and the usual Fraktur ligatures, e.g. ch, ck, st, tz. The font can be used for logos, packaging, posters, restaurant menus, beer and wine labels etc. associated with traditional German and Scandinavian culture.

The other day I had to login to a page several times, and as security I had to check the "I am not a robot" box. Actually, I think I did a login at that particular page like 30 times that day...and in the end I was thinking "Come on, you should know by now that I am not a robot" And even though I thought it was a repetitious hassle I figured that I needed to name a font "I am not a robot" - and not a robotic-like one, but a sweet and funny cartoonish one! :)

The Confetti is a typeface created about 1930 by the defunct José Iranzo foundry in Barcelona, and imitates the forms and gestures of handwriting created with a round nib as “Speedball”Series B. The original typefaces were a pair, called “Escritura Energica ” and “Escritura maravilla”. The typography has a dynamic air, caused partially by irregular alignment of the characters respect to the baseline and aesthetics takes us to the proposed commercial lettering or advertising of years 20-30. Confetti was one of the fonts selected by the website Typographica.org in its prestigious list of “Our Favorite Typefaces” in 2006.
