Unlike its predecessor, Andes Neue contains a larger character set of 759 glyphs which support 219 Latin-based languages from 212 countries. The font comes in 4 variants that provide a wide stylistic range. Andes Neue is the most similar to the original Andes design. The Alt1 character set bears some similarity to the old Andes's (yet cleaner); Alt2 uses the alternates in the font as default glyphs; and Alt3 is a mixture of the other three variants that offers a balanced set of characters. Andes Neue also includes new accents and glyphs for a wider language support, and a set of small caps (in each variant). Originally designed in 2012 by Ryoichi Tsunekawa, All Round Gothic is a font family inspired by classic sans serif fonts such as Avant Garde Gothic and Futura. All Round Gothic is a structured geometric sans, but also creates a sweet and cute atmosphere by removing unnecessary stems. With their bowls shaped by not-perfectly-geometric circles, All Round Gothic makes an organic impression in some degree. As a result, All Round Gothic became a new font family that covers between 1920s Bauhaus and contemporary design trends comprehensively and one of the most suitable family for any purpose such as text, headline, logo, poster, and animations thanks to clean and legible but soft and friendly letterforms. I originally wanted to call this font Instant Pudding. When I was a kid, we sometimes had instant pudding (the ‘add cold milk and rest in the fridge’ kind) for dessert. My brother and I loved the stuff, especially when some of the pudding powder had not dissolved and had turned into brightly coloured speckles! But this font, alas, did not ‘feel’ like instant pudding, so I hunted the internet for other, more obscure, puddings. I found Spoonbread. Apparently it is a pudding-like Southern American dish, made from cornmeal. I have never tasted it, nor do I particularly like corn (most of it is GMO anyway), but the font and the name became friends. And who am I to tear this beautiful relationship asunder? Spoonbread - use it for your packaging, your books, your posters and your games. And when you make Spoonbread, use organic cornmeal!

As in Victorian times, the precious, hand-lettered look of custom stationery is back in vogue. Enter Courtesy Script, an original creation by Alejandro Paul. Courtesy captures the elegance and propriety of finely practiced Spencerian penmanship, in particular the Zanerian school. Its lowercase is notably understated, a simple monoline with very wide connections that ease readability. In the capitals, Courtesy adds variety in both the weight of the strokes, and in degrees of flourish — from merely fancy to over-the-top engrossery. Based on an alphabet found in a 19th-century penmanship journal, Ale created hundreds of additional, stylistically complementary letterforms. Alternate capitals and lowercase letters, swashed lowercase forms, and ending and ornamental swashes; numerals, punctuation, and non-English and accented characters. With virtually endless ways to customize its use, Courtesy helps designers create fluid, signature looks on stationery and invitations, book covers, fashion layouts, and packaging.

This family was created inspired from two French (one so common and a very rare large one) "toy print" boxes, named Le petit imprimeur, with rubber stamp characters from the 1920's. The big difference from our 1920 My Toy print is that this font is complete, with upper and lower cases, accented, complete punctuation and some symbols. The doubly of each usual character in each style (A-Z/a-z and numerals) allow to give a rich and variously uneven appearance, looking like the results of the real use of those old rubber stamps, with bad kernings and alignement. The font is containing West (including Celtic), Central, East European, Turkish and Cyrillic characters. The bold style may be used as a reinforcement, mixed with normal style without disadvantage, allowing finally four choices for each usual letter... The original size is 6mm (about 17 pts).

Armature Neue Sans is an extension of the original Armature Neue family released in 2010. Like Armature Neue, Armature Neue Sans consists of six weights with accompanying italics. Armature is one result of my interest in typefaces that are constructed, rather than drawn. Although it is basically a monoline design, there are subtle details throughout that compensate for a monoline’s evenness. As with all fontBoy fonts, there are dingbats hidden away in the dark recesses of the keyboard. When I first started designing this face in 1992, I called it Dino - I thought I would name all my fonts after famous pets, so the dingbats for Armature are dinosaurs. To access the alternate characters (closed counter B and R, and others) use Stylistic Set 1 or the glyphs palette in your OpenType-enabled application. Designed by Bob Aufuldish with editing and production by Psy/Ops.

The Buum typeface evolved from the explosive lettering originally designed as part of a house style for an interactive science centre for kids. Beside its usual application as a strong display font in print and on screen, the bold angular shapes of glyphs are adapted for negative machine- or laser-cutting into structural materials such as iron sheets, plywood, or stone ... and for creating tactile expressive surfaces and 3D objects. This pictogrammic and dazzling font remotely echoes the morphology of the lettering of futurism and constructivism, when avant-garde typography was once an exciting adventure. It is a lettering building kit with a number of stylistic alternatives of glyphs that enable a user to shape the same word differently each time. ITC Aspera is the product of graphic experimentation. Olivera Stojadinovic, who designed the face, recalls, Over the last 15 years, I have made several small prints using Cyrillic characters. Often, I made my first sketches with a special pointed brush which was difficult to manipulate well, but once tamed, gave me interesting results." Stojadinovic decided to see if she could reproduce the unique brush quality in digital form. "The idea was to preserve the look of strokes made by my brush, so I kept the scanned shapes as close as possible to the originals, making interventions just to maintain consistent proportions, slope and weight." While this typeface is not a connecting script, Stojadinovic did create a number of letters, such as the 'o' and 's' that are natural connecting characters. She also drew a set of ligatures and matching ornaments to accompany the design."

At first glance, Pistol Shot looks like it was originally drawn as a large, geometric slab serif font - a slab serif font that underwent an unfortunate accident, and had many of its extremities shot off! However, there is more to Pistol Shot's appearance than looking as if it had survived a showdown. Pistol Shot also looks vaguely like a pixel font viewed through a blurry filter. It also looks like it could have been cross-stitched into a craft project. Whatever its appearance, Pistol Shot Light and Pistol Shot Normal are perfect headline fonts for a wide variety of display applications. You might even want to try cross-stitching its letters into fabric yourself! Both weights of the Pistol Shot family were designed by the French design team of Roselyne and Michel Besnard in 2002, and are included in the Take Type 5 collection from Linotype GmbH."

Larisch is a hand-lettered design by the Austrian calligrapher and teacher, Rudolf von Larisch. The original was used for the title page of the 1903 edition of Beispiele Kunstlerischer Schrift (Examples of Artistic Writing). Larisch is an attractive, casual set of caps of even strokes with rounded terminals. Except for the terminals, it is similar in style to Kunstler Grotesk. The numerals are lining or ranging figures, meaning they line up with the baseline, unlike old-style text figures. All are of equal width for setting up columns of numbers. The letters are well formed and easy to read, as you would expect from a writing master. Ligatures includes CH (123), CK (125), FT (135), LA (137), LO (167), OO (172), CO (177) and TT (181. An alternative O with underscore is provided at position 111. Friendly, but not fancy -- a very useful all-cap font.
