Swissra is an Arabic typeface that was inspired from Swiss graphic design. The motivation behind the typeface was to create a neutral and carefully crafted Arabic font family that can be used on many different applications. Swissra also aspires to tribute the experience of Swiss graphic design and pass it on to the Arabic graphic design scene. Swissra features sharply cut terminals, which are either horizontal or vertical. It also features closed apretures and a high x-height. It comes with eight weights, that range from thin to black.

Thima is a display font inspired by the liberty style revisited to the present day, hence it is free from the canonical compositional standards that make up the majority of fonts. Its elegant shapes are available in two versions: solid and outline. Thima’s unique features are enhanced by the perfect fusion between irregular and fluid shapes that coexist with right angles. Despite being a display font, the lowercase version is suitable for short and long paragraphs of text, while for large titles the uppercase shows off all its potential.

»SLAM« is my new, very sturdy but elegant slab-serif font family. I designed this font family with body copy in mind and gave it all the glyphs necessary for use with all latin writing languages. I also gave the fonts all kinds of different numerals as well as a complete set of small caps and overall extensive kerning. It comes in eight rounded weights with corresponding oblique cuts and it comes in a normal version and corresponding obliques as well. Enjoy this original font, it is a real work horse!

Diorite is modern face built on classical letterforms -- but left with a bit of residual roughness. Some might call Diorite forthright, others brutal. (It reminded the designer of the dark, hard igneous rock of the same name, treasured by the ancient Egyptians for statuary.) The typeface has a relatively chunky, four-style family; the italics are true cancellaresca corsiva, also writ heavy. "The cancellaresca is of course a Gothic design," notes the designer. No: Jethro Bodine didn't design this typeface although, to look at it, you might be tempted to think so. Rather, the pattern was a product of the fertile imagination of famed lettering artist Alf Becker. The lowercase letters are the same as the uppercase, but angled differently so, if you want a randomized appearance, you can activate Contextual Alternates and the font will do the shift-key double-clutching needed. Both versions include the complete Unicode Latin 1252, Central European 1250 and Turkish 1254 character sets, with localization for Moldovan and Romanian.

Initial Seals JNL was created by utilizing the typeface from Gummed Letters JNL and one of the decorative dingbats from Miscellany JNL. On the capital A-Z keys, the letters are black on a white on black seal design, while the lower case a-z keys have a seal version in solid black with white letters. Corresponding blank versions of the seals are on the left and right parenthesis keys, and the period key has a fill oval for overlaying background colors onto the black and white set.

Giulia is a sweet type family consisting of 12 Fonts. It was created by Hannes von Döhren and published by HvD Fonts. Besides a fancy curly version there is a second version with a more straight architecture, still owning the same soft and friendly character. Informal and easy going at first sight and perfect for display settings, however the straight architecture of Giulia Plain also makes it nice for shorter to medium texts. The Ehrhardt name indicates that this typeface is derived from the roman and italic typefaces of stout Dutch character that the Ehrhardt foundry in Leipzig showed in a late-seventeenth-century specimen book. The designer is unknown, although some historians believe it was the Hungarian Nicholas Kis. Monotype recut the typeface for modern publishers in 1937 to 1938. Ehrhardt has a clean regularity and smooth finish that promote readability, as well as a slight degree of condensation, especially in the italic, that conserves space. MVB Peccadillo is an interpreted revival of a metal typeface popular in the 19th Century, then known as Skeleton Antique. Highly condensed with extra short descenders, the face makes a big impact in a narrow space. Holly Goldsmith worked from letterpress-printed specimens of 96-point, antique metal type, deliberately retaining subtle distortions due to type wear and letterpress impression. Alan Dague-Greene, referring to printed samples of Skeleton Antique, adapted the design to create two additional optical sizes: “Eight” for smaller text and “Twenty-four” for subheads.

Clear Prairie Dawn is an original humanist sans serif family based on the designer's own printing. Designed for use as a text face, as a humanist sans it shares some of the characteristics you might notice in other such faces as Optima, Gill Sans or Stone Sans. The italic is a designed italic, rather than merely a slanted roman, and incorporates many of the ideas that the designer found too lively for the roman fonts. The complete CPD package consists of three weights with italics, and a set of original ornaments.

I don’t think that the gods of Norse mythology ever heard of contextual alternates or multilingual support - but I added it, without even asking! - Yggdrasil has 5 different versions of each letter (in both Regular and Rough) and supports loads of different languages!

Galaxus is an edgy display font defined by its tight spacing, sleekness, and short descenders. Curvature is limited throughout the character set with straightened lines dominating the interior. Traditional diagonals in capitals like M, N, W and Y are given the straight treatment to maintain vertical emphasis. This styling along with the contrast between thick and thin make for a unique look. Galaxus would work well in a logo, on sports apparel, or in a video game. This family is equipped with Basic Latin, Extended Latin, diacritics, punctuation, kerning, and comes in 4 versions.

A few scant examples of some condensed Roman style water-applied decals inspired Sign Letters JNL. The decals were once part of the gold and black "Signmaker" letters and numbers once manufactured by the Duro Decal Company of Chicago and were sold through hardware and variety stores across the country. The condensed letters (which were eight inches in height) did not sell as well as Duro's mainstay sizes of 1/2 inch to 3-1/2 inches and were discontinued long before the rest of the line was supplanted by self-adhesive lettering.

Boldstrom is a heavy-handed, all caps, display font available in 5 versions. Emphasis was put into strong line weight, minimal contrast, and tight curves. This family is defined by very broad stems with comparatively thinner cross strokes. Spacing was condensed to ensure the characters fit snug against one another. This was done in part to minimize negative space while also creating tension. The result is a powerful looking sans serif designed to command attention and make a statement. She truly shines bright, for as the owner of Stella Roberts Fonts, she has dedicated part of her net profits to helping her siblings pay for their medication; they both suffer from Cystic Fibrosis and diabetes. Conceived on a cold evening to the hot Jazz of the Eri Yamamoto Trio at Arthur’s Tavern in the Village, font Molly Louie is best described by the person for whom it was named. “Very intricate, like a whole little world in each of them” and “The solid is nice too, like little cut up sandwiches.” The detailed and solid versions facilitate a variety of two-color applications. You might not use this decorative display font at smaller sizes, but you are encouraged to let your imagination guide you.

The Women's Suffrage Movement gained women the right to vote in 1920. Up until then there were many ways undertaken to rally sympathy for the cause. In 1916 Alice Paul formed the National Woman's Party. That same year a song with the [exhaustive] sixteen word title "She's Good Enough to be Your Baby's Mother (And She's Good Enough to Vote with You)" yielded a hand lettered Art Nouveau sans serif design in the main portion of the title. This became the basis for Plain Nouveau JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

New Cuisine is a departure from formal, handwriting, and retro scripts. Influenced by the DIY lettering generation New Cuisine is a joyful looking script with all the right moves. Under the hood of New Cuisine lie precise connections, unique ligatures and alternates, and OpenType programming to orchestrate it all. An online reproduction of a trade ad circa the 1950s for comedian-actor Paul Gilbert featured his name in the hand-drawn lettering that serves as the basis for Stand Up JNL. While the style of the typeface is derivative of the Latin Spur faces used popularly since the 1800s, the playful – almost awkward angles create a casual design that evokes good times. It should be noted that the extremes of such angles might appear ill-spaced unless kerning is turned on within the application where the typeface will be used.
