St Ryde is a humanistic sans-serif with a slight touch of a script typeface. The most significant aspect of the typeface is the combined sharp and round treatment of the stroke endings. The complete Ryde Family contains five weights including real matching italics, so you can choose from thin, light, regular, medium and bold. St Ryde has a wide range of characters, including small caps, lining proportional and tabular figures plus small caps figures, too.

ITC Skylark, from designer Patty King, is an alphabet with a strong handwritten character and calligraphic influences. The figures look as though they were written with a broad-tipped pen on rough paper. The result is a light stroke contrast, irregular outer contours, pointed stroke endings and a clear slant to the right. These characteristics lend the font its spontaneity and liveliness. ITC Skylark is best used for headlines and short texts in point sizes of 12 and larger.

Rudge is an intentionally rough sans-serif font. It was designed to share the look and feel of many “antique” fonts, although it lacks the standard serif look of those fonts. The corners are slightly rounded, the edges are wobbly, and the kerning is tight. It could be used as a faux “sloppy printing” font or just a more regularized hand-drawn font. A Bloomer is a crusty loaf of bread with rounded ends. I don’t know why I chose this name, but it may have to do with the fact that my wife signed up for a bread baking course. Bloomer is a rounded, hand made cartoon-ish font. It will look especially good on product packaging, but any design in need of some authenticity could do with a bit of Bloomer! Comes with ligatures and a light dusting of alternates.

Sole Serif is a newspaper face with features relating to book typography. Inspiration from Francesco Griffo’s romans was adapted to resist the rough usage typical of newspaper printing without any loss of quality. Sole Serif is available in an extensive range of cuts including extra bold and ultra thin. With its big x-height, short ascenders and a roundish and wide italic for text and titles, it has all the attributes of a newspaper face. Nonetheless, details like the inclined axis, calligraphic terminations, Renaissance proportions and a refined but slightly mannered design, all evoke the book rather than the daily paper.

Britti Sans is a modern grotesque typeface that has geometric details and deep roots in industrial design principles. Its opentype features (alternate characters, localised characters, multilingual characters) give it greater versatility allowing it to adapt to a wide range of contexts. Among its features are contextual alternates, uppercase and lowercase localized Sharp S, numerators and denominators, a wide range of currency symbols including the Bitcoin symbol, emojis and icons, proportional and tabular numbers, fractions and circled numbers. Atomgeek is inspired by old arcade games. Use it for your comics - especially the ones with superheroes and their counterparts! The capital letters have lightning flaming out of the left side, and if you want them flaming out of the right side then just use the Open Type Stylish Alternates! You will need to use OpenType supporting applications to use the autoligatures.

Becka Script was designed by David Harris in 1985 and is a wide running typeface with varying stroke contrasts. This font looks as though written with a broad tipped pen and its slight slant to the right makes clear its similarity to callipgraphy fonts. Becka Script is reminiscent of the 1950s and its strong strokes make it best for headlines or shorter texts.

Composed, clean and slightly angular, as its name says. It's organic, warm and round in the right places too. A sanserif typeface family Vinkel is a handsome androgyne with an excellent balance of Neo-grotesque and Humanist DNA. Vinkel comes in eight weights from Thin to Extra Black, all with italics, small caps, several sets of numerals, arrows, alternate characters, and more.

I’m a bit of a sucker for neon lights, especially in big cities. My favourite city is Tokyo, with its brightly coloured billboards and its back alleys full of neon-lit eateries. At first sight, Neon Goo is a slightly warped font, with some funny looking glyphs and a generous spacing. When you start using it, you’ll find out that the glyphs do complement each other! Neon Goo comes with all diacritics and a set of alternates for the lower case letters.

Amberday is a modern display serif typeface to be used more than just as a header font. When I was creating this typeface my first though was to create a light font but strong enough to stand as a header font. Amberday is a perfect typeface to use for logo design, webdesign, header design, typedesign, posters and many more.
