A 1920 Dutch poster for Public Placement Services by Johan Dijsktra provided the inspiration for this crisp geometric typeface. Instead of the normal underscore (_), this font features a set of parallel lines flush to the tops of the caps and small caps, which offers some intriguing design possibilities. Both versions of this font include the complete Unicode 1252 Latin and Unicode 1250 Central European character sets.

In 1894, Linn Boyd Benton finished a commission for a new text typeface with the American periodical, Century magazine. Century is typical of the neorenaissance movement in typography at the end of the 19th century. Morris Fuller Benton drew a number of versions of the font for the font foundry, American Typefounders, and Century was later taken up by the firms Linotype, Intertype and Monotype.

This font is a collection of simple calligraphic ornaments suitable for invitations, gift tags, and anything that can benifit from a "spoonful of sugar" visually. The frames font uses the same calligraphic elements as PR-Swirlies-01, but has them combines in ways which form an elliptical cartouche. Many of the elements can be used in a modular way to create frames of varying length.

Mono-Spec Stencil is a monospaced family of sans-serif type. At least in default settings, all characters across the typeface share a common width, which is immediately noticeable for its condensed nature. Mono-Spec Stencil is a sibling of a non-stencil family, simply named Mono-Spec. Characters in each are just as wide, allowing Mono-Spec Stencil to be used together with Mono-Spec, as a secondary typeface. As a typeface whose characters are stencil-shaped, this design channels the spirit of resistance and street culture. When you look at the family, remember that it ships in two different formats. Depending on your preference, you can install the typeface as a single Variable Font or use the family’s five static OpenType font files instead. Those weights run from Light through Bold. While the static-format fonts offer a good intermediary-step selection, users who install the Variable Font have vastly greater control over their text’s stroke width. The Mono-Spec Stencil Variable Font’s weight axis allows users to differentiate between almost 1,000 possible font weights. That enables you to fine-tune your text’s exact appearance on-screen or in print. Whatever format you choose, the Mono-Spec Stencil fonts are equipped with several OpenType features. The most striking of these can be activated via a Stylistic Set. That will replace several letters – like “B”, “E”, “F”, “H”, and “I” with double-width alternates. Those alternates take up as much space as two characters placed next to each other otherwise word. The effect of Mono-Spec Stencil’s double-width alternates is striking, and their use strikes a strong chord in any display typography applying them.

Whitenights is a contemporary text family, which was developed by the prolific Swedish typographer Lars Bergquist in 2002. Containing five weights (11 different fonts total), this family contains every tool you need to set splendid text. The base font of the family is Whitenights Regular, a reliable face designed in the old style manner. It ships in OpenType format, with old style figures. Whitenights Ligatures Regular is a supplementary font, which contains many extra ligatures (e.g., ffb, ffk, tt, and fj) whose use will improve the color" of a page of text set in Whitenights Regular. Whitenights Regular may be accented by combination with Whitenights Small Caps, Whitenights Italic, Whitenights Bold, and/or Whitenights Bold Italic. The Whitenights Italic, Bold and Bold Italic styles all have supplementary Ligature fonts available for purchase, similar to the Whitenights Ligatures Regular face described above. For larger, headline text, the specially designed Whitenights Titling is quite useful. This titling font has been optically redrawn and respaced for use in large sizes. Naturally, it has its own supplementary Ligature font as well. In books, magazines, and newsletters this font is a great display companion to the rest of the Whitenights family. Its use in conjunction with the text faces will make your typographical compositions more sophisticated. Last but not least in the Whitenights family is Whitenights Math, which contains many additional mathematical and logical glyphs not found in a standard font's character set. Used together, the above 12 styles can set almost any text or math-based document. The entire family is included in the Take Type 5 collection from Linotype GmbH."

Enter Terracina: one of the masterpieces of font design. Some of the most personable italics ever carved. Paperside: Neither Papyrus nor SSI Countryside. Inspired in some ways by the Papyrus form, but untextured and smoother, with the dimensions and proportions more open, like that of Countryside SSi, with its larger easily readable lowercase body, and more consistent, shorter stems. Paperside has an open scripted feel which is pleasing on the eye and easy to read. Paperside can enhance the first letter of most sentences automatically, and changes other letters to suit their position within words, and the letters they appear beside. Now comes in 5 weights plus italic. For best results, use this ‘smart font’ with Contextual Ligatures turned on. Mulitiple Stylistic Alternatives are included. Inspiration for this font came from two other fonts. Papyrus: was designed by Chris Costello and created in 1982, it is a hand-drawn textured typeface, emulating texts written in biblical times. The Hybi5 font family can be described as a “crossover” between Antiqua, Grotesque and Brushscript with characteristics from all of this genres. My aim was to design friendly and versatile fonts, which can be used for headlines or slogans as well as for some longer texts. To make the fonts useful for as many languages as possible, I added a lot of exotic accents. All styles contain the whole “Adobe Latin 3 (CE)” character set plus a few letters from “Adobe Latin 4”. A lot of ligatures prettify the look of the fonts. Alternate uppercase letters in the script style might do the same. If you are a professional designer, you will surely appreciate the thousands of kerning pairs within each style, which will make your work easier. I recommend to set Kerning to “metric” and spacing to “zero” in your layout app. Back in 2015 I worked on the first sketches of “Hybi5” using Adobe Illustrator. “Fontself Maker”, an extension for Illustrator, was used to convert the drawings into font-files. This tool can only create “OTF” font files. For this reason there are no “TTF” versions. It’s not the first font I have ever made, but the first to be distributed commercially.

Isfahan is based on the middle-eastern style decorative initials Willy Pogany drew for his edition of The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayaam. This font has both full-size capitals and reduced size small-caps versions of each letter, but although it could be used as a titling font, it is really intended more for decorative character placement.

Formosa is the old, colonial name for Taiwan. Formosa means beautiful in Portuguese and I think this handwritten typeface has a certain beauty itself. It comes in three styles, all of which make extensive use of ligatures, to give the font an authentic, handwritten feel. Like most of my fonts, Formosa comes with Babylonian language support.

The first flower that was created was for a the cover of a cultural magazine in Montréal (Québec). Then we couldn't stop and we've created a whole font with interesting forms of flowers. Please note that this font is unusually detailed and its complexity may exceed the memory limitations of drawing programs such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw.

The Parkway font family was inspired the Parkway Theater marquee in south Minneapolis and the abandoned hotel signage along a strip of U.S. highway running from Tallahassee to Tampa in Florida.
