Eurostile® is one of the most important designs from the Italian font designer Aldo Novarese. It was originally produced in 1962 by the Nebiolo foundry as a more complete version of the earlier Microgramma, a caps-only font designed by Novarese and A. Butti. Eurostile reflects the flavor and spirit of the 1950s and 1960s. It has big, squarish shapes with rounded corners that look like television sets from that era. Eurostile has sustained the ability to give text a dynamic, technological aura. It works well for headlines and small bodies of text. The Eurostile font family has 11 weights, from roman to bold and condensed to extended. In 2009 Linotype released a revised version in the Platinum Collection under the name , with three weights in all three different styles. Corsica is an all-purpose geometric sans-serif typeface of visually uniform stroke thickness. The design seeks to be reminiscent of classic 20th Century grotesques with a crisp modern appearance and opentype features that are now expected. Coverage includes most Roman languages, Greek and basic Cyrillic. Each font contains a standard set of features including fractions, small capitals etc. The family contains six weights, two widths and three lowercase size options, together with an italic variant for each. The are three standard 4-font families for each size variant and a further three corresponding families for Condensed versions. The versatility provided by this extensive family has many useful applications. In particular, the choice of small, medium and large lowercase letter sizes (SX, MX, LX) allows designers to select an appropriate style for suitable impact and legibility in different situations such as headlines, captions, signage, web menus etc. Although each of the three size options will work equally well in most situations, the middle size (Corsica MX) would generally be the preferred choice for lengthy texts.

Adriane Text was designed between 2006 and 2007 with additional production completed by Silas Dilworth for this 2008 release [v1.002]. Focusing on text composition and unique typographic characteristics, details within the characters provide both personality and excellent legibility at small sizes. With a medium contrast, a predominantly vertical axis, and a generous x-height, it can be classified as a transitional typeface. This package of advanced OpenType fonts consists of the style-linked quartet of Regular and Bold weights accompanied by corresponding Italics, each of which include small caps and full support for Extended Latin character sets - now including Central European diacritics. The Heinemann fonts were initially developed by the in-house design team at Heinemann educational publishing out of the necessity to find the perfect font for use in early primary reading books and literacy products. Basic Heinemann is defined by longer ascenders and descenders, which help children to distinguish between letters; rounded edges on all letterforms, which help the reader focus on the individual letter shape; and modified characters (eg., a and g), which ensure instant recognition of letterforms. This typeface is the reinterpretation of a sample found in a French book, published between 1882 and 1893 and its author —Ernest Michel— lived between 1837 and 1896. This sample has influence from Didot, Scotch Roman and Clarendon (typefaces which were in use at that time). This reinterpretation expands the basic set for the contemporary era. Jazmo is an offspring of an assignment I did for a Dutch architect. A classic building and coincidently the place of my studio in my hometown Zwolle, Netherlands, needed to be renovated. My job was to design the house numbers and signs for this building. This building I refer to was built in 1932 and designed according to the ‘New objectivity’ architecture. Now it accommodates several artist and craftsmen and also houses students. In my design I used elements of the Art Nouveau, which is related to the ‘New Objectivity’. Words as stately, angular, linear, stylish, artful, playful and frolic came to mind. It should be a design with a hint of the past and a flirt with the future. This house numbering is the root wherefrom Jazmo arises. The name Jazmo cites to the Jazz scene, which was a new and very popular artistic influence that time and age and is still a vibrant source of musical renewal. Mo stands for my Name Marit Otto. Together with my intern Arie Blok I created the missing characters and completed the font. Welcome Jazmo!

With its slightly rough edges, Thumbnail Text works well where lettering is required. Letterforms wiggle a bit here and there but are generally quite uniform. Characters are a bit imprecise - but not showy or bouncy. They appear more adult-looking than childish and are very legible. Put Thumbnail Text to work as drafting notation or on blueprint projects that need to be easily read. It¹s also useful when concept or sketch stage lettering needs to look serious but not highly stylized. You might experiment with it inside cartoon thought balloons or in callouts. This design is based on an old showcard style from the 1940s. It's been dusted off and reissued for modern use. A lowercase has been added for greater functionality. Lepontic is an ancient Alpine Celtic language that was spoken in parts of Rhaetia and Cisalpine Gaul (now Northern Italy) between 550 and 100 BC. Lepontic is attested in inscriptions found in an area centered on Lugano, Switzerland, and including the Lake Como and Lake Maggiore areas of Italy. While some recent scholarship (e.g. Eska 1998) has tended to consider Lepontic simply as an early outlying form of Gaulish and closely akin to other, later attestations of Gaulish in Italy (Cisalpine Gaulish), some scholars (notably Lejeune 1971) continue to view it as a distinct Continental Celtic language. In this latter view, the earlier inscriptions found within a 50 km radius of Lugano are considered Lepontic, while the later ones, to the immediate south of this area, are considered Cisalpine Gaulish. Lepontic was assimilated first by Gaulish, with the settlement of Gallic tribes north of the River Po, and then by Latin, after the Roman Republic gained control over Gallia Cisalpina during the late 2nd and 1st century BC

Pandilla was inspired from personal sketches and letters developed by the past of the years making graffiti art. the forms of this typeface are related with the graffiti and street scenes of the different cities around the world and takes traits and elements of the Handstyle, Classic graffiti, Brazilian Pichação and different urban letters. This font has a variety of objectives, the first is to create a legible version of the graffiti inscriptions and use this typography for different print pieces, the second objective is to give back the essence of the meaning of the word "Pandilla", this word has been transformed for the past of the decades and now is associated with negative things. The original meaning of this word is a group of people who feel a close relationship, which usually have a friend or close interaction with ideals or common philosophy among members. Pandilla is to be used in different print purposes and graphic pieces like: Posters, Brochures, Magazines, Business cards and different stuff that uses big type sizes and big display formats.

Parabrite arrives as a vision of the future. The future is brite - Parabrite - this is unavoidable now. The composition of Parabrite is found to be based on a set of technical behaviors defined from a set of four sub-glyphs and their interactions, similar to the make up of our D.N.A. (A,C,G,T). Likewise, Parabrite's block matrix is composed of four units (S,L,I,C). These units are only allowed to group together according to predefined set of mathematical rules, and affect each other symbiotically. The smallcase letters stand five feathers high, while the capitals add an extra two feathers width. Parabrite is extended, containing the full West European diacritics & a full set of ligatures, making it suitable for multilingual environments & publications. Is it necessary to tell the Gutenberg story? 1456 Gutenberg Pro is the second Gutenberg typeface produced by GLC foundry (look at our 1456 Gutenberg). This font was created from the so called "B42" character set used for the two Gutenberg Latin Bibles (42 and 36 lines), but with a better and finer design than in our first version, more faithful to the finest original printed books appearance. We offer also now a larger choice of the original ligatures and Latin abbreviations, as complete as possible to be usable with OTF specifications. The complete basic alphabet (with "long s" naturally)is strictly looking like the real one (including the curious twisted "X"). We have only recreated the capitals W and J, who was not existing in the time. The numerals, no more existing in the original type set, were inspired from those in use a few years later by early following printers, but matching with the Gutenberg font's pattern. The font includes West (including Celtic), East, Central European, Baltic and Turkish glyphs.

In most cities during the 1950s and 1960s the corner pharmacy or soda shop was a mainstay of teenage life. It was a place to hang out with friends, hear the latest hits on the jukebox and indulge in everything sugary from malted milkshakes to banana splits. During this time, a popular form of window advertising was supplied by the Coca-Cola Company to promote its product being served by these locations. Specialty window decals designed to emulate drawn (raised) Venetian blinds "bookmarked" by the soda's logo were adhered to the shop's windows, with a space provided to add in customized lettering. The store's name or its specialties were applied to each window pane, and this formed a consistent border at the top of all of the shop's windows. Although few visual images exist of this specific bit of advertising nostalgia, an old record album by a late-1950s singer named Chip Fisher called "Chipper at the Sugar Bowl" provided a somewhat usable sample for what is now Soda Fountain JNL.

Tweed is a journey into the 1930s world of hand-lettering. The design looks very much like the personal scribblings of an old-fashioned cartoon animator. It’s the sort of sketch-style you might find describing a goofy caterpillar or laughing willyworm. Tweed is fun and light-hearted with open and rounded letters of a somewhat musical quality. Derived from old letterforms popularized by Carl Holmes in his wonderful book on the subject, Tweed is basically friendly in nature. This typeface is great for personal greeting cards and stationery - any kind of casual correspondence. It works well in display situations, too. And yes, there is an alternate to the funny-looking “w” character. Just press option l (el) on Mac. Or Alt 0172 on Windows. Tweed is now available in the OpenType Std format. This typeface is based on ISO 3098, a technical documentation issued in 1974 by ISO (International Organization for Standardization), which proposed a set of characters for use on technical drawings and associated documents. Isotext is based on the original standards but is completely redesigned to fit typographic requirements. A funny and quirky handwritten script - with an original "monoheight" letter design. It is cute and adorable, and now available for setting text in most latin-based languages. The Quarantinus font was created during the 2020 covid 19 lock-down. Tranquility being all around, the JOEBOB graphics studio almost felt like a monastery, and as a result my style of writing and my choice of pen had to fit. All this writing was turned into an authentic handwritten script font with over 150 ligatures, which make it look very credible and spontaneous. The font is especially suitable for personalized 'handwritten' notes, cards and messages. It can be used on T-shirts and on shop-windows. It has an 'instant logo' quality, it can be used for tattoo-designs and it screams home-made everything. And in case you are a writer you now have an option to print your work in a way that seems as if you wrote it yourself. Please note that even though the font comes with a complete set of Western characters, accents and special signs, the Cyrillic and Greek characters that are in the font do not make a complete set.

Apadana is a new creation of Naghi Naghashian. Apadana design fulfills the following needs: A. Explicitly crafted for use in electronic media fulfills the demands of electronic communication. Apadana is not based on any pre-digital typefaces. It is not a revival. Rather, its forms were created with today's technology in mind. B. Suitability for multiple applications. Gives the widest potential acceptability. C. Extreme legibility not only in small sizes, but also when the type is filtered or skewed, e.g., in Photoshop or Illustrator. Apadana's simplified forms may be artificial obliqued in InDesign or Illustrator, without any loss in quality for the effected text. D. An attractive typographic image. Apadana was developed for multiple languages and writing conventions. Apadana supports Arabic, Persian, and Urdu. It also includes proportional and tabular numerals for the supported languages. E. The highest degree of geometric clarity and the necessary amount of calligraphic references. This typeface offers a fine balance between calligraphic tradition and the contemporary sans serif aesthetic now common in Latin typography.

In Northern Sumatra, the crystal clear waters of Lake Toba lap gently against the surrounding mountains. In the middle of the lake sits the island of Samosir, for centuries the secluded home of the Batak people. Visitors arrive by ferry into the tiny town of Tuk Tuk, escaping the heat and humidity of the Sumatran jungle. Throughout the village, restaurants and guest houses are adorned with hand-painted signs in bright colors. Perhaps due to Sumatra's long history of European colonization, the letterforms are reminiscent of those used for posters and handbills in America and Europe at the end of the 19th century, but with a distinctly Southeast Asian flavor. Charles Nix, intrigued by the combination of Victorian fancy and Batak arabesque, photographed, sketched and translated the letterforms into a design that is now ITC Batak. Named for the proud ancestors of Samosir's inhabitants, it is a bold condensed letter with hexagonal serifs - a sort of properly dressed grotesque. Batak is available in either Condensed or Condensed Bold.

ULGA Grid Solid is the sharp, blockier sibling of ULGA Grid and ULGA Grid Rounded. The typeface consists of three weights, regular, medium and bold, with corresponding oblique styles. Every character in the extended ULGA Grid family shares the same width. Forged from a box full of ninja throwing stars – props from the now-forgotten 1976 Japanese film, Gridzilla, Revenge of King Gridorah – the solid shapes and sharp, chamfered corners give the characters a hard, cut-from-metal feel. A versatile display typeface that can be used for a wide range of purposes including CD covers, posters, packaging, advertising, nameplates for tractors, brochures and film titles. Mix and match with ULGA Grid and ULGA Grid Rounded, use the alternatives, sneak in an oblique style to spice things up, but most of all this is a fun typeface family. But, please, don’t use the characters as throwing stars. That’s just dangerous, someone will get hurt and you’ll regret it. The character set supports Western Europe, Vietnamese, Central/Eastern Europe, Baltic, Turkish and Romanian.

Now, more than ever, the world needs BenderHead. Why? – Because... it just does. Don't ask why, just take our word for it. BenderHead has its thicks and thins all mixed up. For you typographic aficionados, stroke weights and hairline weights aren't consistent, and many rules of typographic design were broken to make this font.
