M Li PRC is a handwritten style Simplified Chinese typeface. Handwritten font designs are derived directly from hand-drawn lettering or handwriting using analogue tools. Handwritten style Simplified Chinese fonts can include typefaces that reference or reinterpret traditional calligraphy, using classical exemplars by calligraphic masters.

LP Horizont Caps is another new font creation from German designer Peter Langpeter (lp-design.de). Goth icon and Saturday Night Live voice-over talent, Nicole Blackman grew up surrounded by design; her dad and her sister are architects, her mom is a retired fashion designer and her grandfather invented clip art. “No lie, Volk Clip Art in NJ,” she says. “Herb Lubalin designed his logo!” Sharing her grandfather’s fondness for fonts, Ms. Blackman created this alphabet. Her creativity sparked this lanky lettering’s theatrical nature in all caps and its supple beauty in upper and lower cases. Final fontification and adjustments were done by Chank Diesel. Early 1900s songwriters had a penchant for devising lengthy titles for their compositions. A perfect example from 1909, "It Is Hard to Kiss Your Sweetheart When the Last Kiss Means 'Good Bye'" is a whopping fourteen words long. The sheet music for this piece has a hand lettered, Art Nouveau sans serif design which became the working model for La Vie Nouveau JNL [which translates to "the new life"], and is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Vintage sheet music for a song from the Broadway Musical “Kiss Me Kate” is the inspiration for Katydid JNL. The play’s name was written in a ball-and-line type of lettering which somewhat resembles either 'Tinker Toys' or celestial mapping.

Linotype Merlin is part of the Take Type Library, which features the winners of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contest from 1994 to 1997. This font was designed by Anne Boskamp and its alphabet consists exclusively of capital letters. At the same time aggressive and sensitive, Merlin looks as though it were scratched onto paper with a pen tip saturated with ink. Many years ago I created two upside-down typefaces, UpsidedownJJ and UpsidedownTOC. They were based on monospaced or typewriter fonts, and were rotated 180 degrees, which is the same as a vertical flip followed by a horizontal flip. Recently I was reminded that this way of creating an upside-down typeface is not the only way to create an upside-down typeface--a simple vertical flip creates a different one. That is what this typeface is, a simple vertical flip. The original typeface on which this one is based is JetJaneMono.

Shelflife is a display typeface with some extras under the lid. There's boxed headlines for SALE, SPECIAL, DISCOUNT (20 in total) all ready-made, plus some which can be tilted at an angle, and done automatically - just easily typed in; easy-to-do bullet numbers; a choice of square or rounded dots on j,ffi, and so on in Stylistic Alternatives; and shorter alternatives for U and N with accents. Details are included in the zip files. The zip file will contain both the OTF and TTF versions of the font. Install only one version, either the OTF or TTF, but not both - otherwise you will get all sorts of incompatibility issues and problems.

It’s cherry season, so I bought 2 kilos of cherries at the local cherry farm. The cherries I bought had been in a cooling cell, so they were quite cold. As I was eating them, the name for this new font popped up! Chilly Cherry is a handmade serif. It’s a little wobbly, a little off-center, but it will surely put a smile on the cherry lips of your customers.
