Character set covers Latin A-Z all caps, Arabic, Persian and Urdu with 230 ligatures, European, Arabic and Persian / Urdu localized digits, punctuation, currencies and other symbols - the total of 729 glyphs. The idea came from a custom logotype I made several years ago for a local charity organisation that helps children. The logotype was based on bold letters with light that make the "balloon" effect visible in "Holes" style. The purpose was to create a funny, friendly and playful script that would embrace the beauty of the Arabic alphabet. Popty Ping is Welsh slang for microwave oven. It literally means ‘oven that goes ping’. Popty Ping was sort of based on an older font of mine called Jambo. It is a very happy cartoon font, ideal for children’s book covers, ice cream packaging and microwave popcorn (preferably the non GM kind). Comes in two great styles and more diacritics than you can pop in an oven!

Slughals is danish for someone who eats to much in a kind of greedy way. It came to my mind that "slug" ("swallow" in danish) is snail in English. It lead my mind to the brushtraces of the font, could look like traces from a snail/slug. Slughals has ligatures for most double letters and two fancy swashes for the letters r and k.

If it's dog friendly, it must be something good! Actually, I was never really into dogs, not until me and my wife decided to get a dog. We got a French Bulldog and life hasn't been the same since! I found out that I love dogs, and especially French Bulldogs! This font is a kind of tribute to everything good that has to do with dogs! :)
