Ammonia is a simple sans serif made fumey and gloopy. Strange little dendrites poke out from some of the characters, causing some linkage between letters.

I finally managed to create a font from the characters I wrote on my Etch A Sketch board. A bit grungy, but definitely something else.

The idea’s seed germinated while I was going through a phase of binge watching my favourite 1980/90s sci-fi movies (classics such as Terminator, Total Recall and RoboCop). However, perception and reality don’t always align. Thirty years later, when compared to today’s technology, some visual elements look kind of outdated, almost Retro Futuristic. The initial design process started out in Adobe Illustrator when I constructed letters from a few geometric shapes within a square block. Just playing around with different shapes was so engrossing that it wasn’t long before there were enough characters for a basic typeface. The project grew again as I experimented with designs within the shapes and set paragraphs of text in patterns, resulting in over a hundred alternative characters and ornaments, some of which double up as border designs. This typeface may be square but it’s anything but boring. What it lacks in legibility ULGA Grid makes up for in style and the end result is a surprisingly versatile typeface that you'll have fun using for a wide range of display purposes including CD covers, posters, packaging, advertising, brochures and film titles. Ironically, the fixed grid structure frees the characters to create patterns of text not possible with variable widths.

Inspired by an Austrian artist Erwin Wurm's Fat series, Erwin is a typeface that evokes visual associations of overeating letters, giving the impression of letters on the brink of bursting. The first design of Elensans consisted of 4 styles that are including two weights and their italics which I designed in my student years in 2002. It was designed with a little Art Nouveau style touch with inspired by classical geometric based fonts such as Friz Quadrata and Eras. It was updated with according to the orientations of the day in 2012 and eventually it took its final form with actual touches in 2020. The family has 18 weights, ranging from Thin to Black in normal styles and including their italics. Road Stencil is a font based on painted street markings. The letters are stretched roughly six times their normal height so that when viewed from an angle, the text is seen as proportional. If you're looking to Photoshop a street scene, this is your font. This is an all caps font, but the letters were copied to lower-case for convenience. In these forms, I've preferred to use horizontal and diagonal dividers instead of verticals which can weaken the fonts readability. This font embodies a pleasant aesthetic while maintaining a coherent and believable feel. Check out the 'Rough' version of this font, which has more of a 'drawn on asphalt' look. Eroika Slab is a robust, display serif, intended to be set large. While for most serifs, display means high contrast, Eroika's "displayness" stems from its wide stance, tight spacing, equal cap and ascender heights, flared stems and large x-height. The italics in particular are quite unorthodox, with their vertical serif cut-offs and foot serifs where most fear to tread ('scuse the pun). All fonts feature a useful array of stylistic sets, oldstyle figures, automatic fractions and case sensitive forms. All ligatures are in the discretionary section, as it's my belief that this typeface looks better without them, but I like to offer the choice. Strogino is a modern display pseudo-monospaced sans serif font. Due to the special design and some variants, all letters are easily identifiable though stuck together.
