Provincial Railway is the first product of argentine typographic archeology project called "Tipografía Histórica Ferroviaria" (Fabio Ares & Octavio Osores, since 2012). Is about the signboards of the stations of the P1 line of the Provincial Railway of Buenos Aires (1907-1977). The letter of this signboards can be described as display type, with a tall box and a constructivist style, with elementary geometric shapes and without line modulation. Although without a doubt, its differential feature is provided by the rectangular shapes that it has towards the ascending and descending lines, which in some cases coincide with the stems, showing a curious rhythm in the composition of the text line. The family is completed with complementary fonts of different styles. The proceeds from the sale of the fonts will be used to finance the project.

Lately I have been thinking about rabbits. Not that I have a particular love for rabbits - they’re cute, but also kind of stupid. But as Christmas dinner is approaching, I see more rabbit carcasses lining the shelves of supermarkets. These poor animals never saw the light of day, never felt the grass between their paws and never had a ‘true life’. In honour of the hundreds of thousands of rabbits being slaughtered for Christmas this year, I have named this font: Rabbit Escape. Rabbit Escape is a slightly back-slanted typeface - handmade with a permanent marker I bought in Japan. It is quite unusual, maybe a bit weird, but it will serve you well. The Flounder Pro is a simple and clean condensed all-caps sans serif font. It is a close relative of the Floz, but has rounded edges. It comes with Cyrillic, Greek and Latin alphabets, the latter including loads of accented characters. It is also equipped with a bunch of ligatures, as well as alternates for the letters J, W, Q, Z, Ω and Ξ. Those features are easily accessible via opentype features. This family includes three weights with their respective italics and backslanted versions. The Flounder works well for Logos, Headlines, or short texts.

Born as a revival of an Egyptian typeface, this hand-drawn typeface is is perfect for headers and even as a body text. Here’s a novelty font emulating the plastic pennant streamers that were popular in the 1950s and 1960s used to decorate a store parking lot or used car lot for a sales event. The typeface inside the individual pennants is Manufacturer JNL, which can be used for body copy associated with titles made by this font. Parking Lot Sale JNL is available in regular (black letters on white pennants) and black (with white letters). A blank pennant for word spacing or end caps is available on the backslash key.
