Brandon Printed is based on the famous Brandon Grotesque typeface. It has an eroded, printed look with variations of every letter by using different styles. With several different styles like a shadowed version, an inline version and a double printed version you can create a lot of lovely combinations. The Brandon Printed package also contains a set with 95 Extras like arrows, catchwords, stars, emblems numbers & lines. Brandon Printed has a high level of detail, so it may process more slowly in some applications.

The Vivala old black letter font family is characterized by its hard-cut lines. This gives the typeface a special woodcut-like character. The typeface family offers a wide range of possibilities for design. It works well for posters, packaging, and corporate design for restaurants or breweries.

The Killegar family is inspired by one of the great houses of Ireland...Killegar—which is on the grand Estate of Killegar. I lived there for many years. It is a quiet and peaceful place surrounded by lakes and trees and is inspirational in so many ways. All of my creative talents were boosted by this amazing two hundred year old building with all of it's secrets and heritage. Time stood still in Killegar....except for me and my modern day computers, cell phones and fax machines. This twist of fate, with me living both a rural and hi-tech life, living in an environment of the early 18th century, with the friendliest local people on the Earth, played it's part in the origin of the Killegar family of fonts. Another offbeat typeface inspired by the lettering on a design by Patrick Owsley for the Chicago Bears. There's nothing more lively than animated text, and Bear Club has that flavor in two ways. With counter inspirations drawn from fonts like Ad Lib and Nightclub, an automatic alternating caps and alternate caps feature, as well as a contextual alternates set that creates a true animated bounce, just like Hip Hopper. Let the fun begin with this spunky, lighthearted and heavy-weighted comic typeface.

Taglio’s name is derived from intaglio, which means “incised carving” or “an impression from an engraving”. Indeed, Taglio looks like an incised engraving with a contemporary calligraphic interpretation. The down strokes start with a single horizontal line that curves into a dual vertical line and ends with the same single line at the base. The dual elongated strokes create a bold overall impression but is literally twice as sophisticated than if the two lines were solid. That was exactly the goal in creating this font. We managed to create a font that is distinctive, elegant, and crisp that is also intentionally stencilled for more flexibility. For instance, it is ideal for laser cutting signage. One of the unique features in using the capital glyphs is that they stack perfectly without losing legibility, primarily because of the slanted ends of the dual vertical lines - see the example “Miami Fashion Week” display ad. Taglio’s unusual style was carefully crafted to come to life at display sizes. It is therefore ideal for use in branding fashion, restaurants, buildings, packaging, museums, signage, etc. An ideal pairing font is our WERK family which can be seen on some of the display ads below. Taglio has a sparkling and sophisticated personality that will absolutely delight!

Prushkov is the first typeface that I made. Its name comes from the town I lived in at the time. The design was inspired by both geometric typefaces like Futura, and didone fonts like Bodoni. Its aim (perhaps quite bold) is to blend high contrast with mathematical excellence. Prushkov will work well as a display font, both in uppercase and lowercase. It has a wide array of stylistic alternates for all of the capitals and some lowercase glyphs too.

Black Madness is a font inspired by blackletter typography, but instead of clean and accurate lines I gave it an more abstract and intuitive look. Like most of my fonts, Black Madness is made for logos, headlines and other typography related work.

Strands is a carefully ink drawn font that grows on you. It looks and reads like spaghetti and vines! Spring is emerging with this font. Use it for headlines and logos. Each letter grabs on to the next producing playfulness and life!

The Jantze font is a project undertaken by Dan Bailey of Fontosaurus and Michael Jantze, creator of the nationally-syndicated comic strip, The Norm. All their royalties from the font will go to The Lance Armstrong Foundation. For those that have been living under a rock for the last five years, Lance is a professional bike racer that overcame advanced testicular cancer to not only come back to his sport, but to dominate its premiere event, the Tour de France. In climbing to the top of his sport, he has become a legend among cyclists and a beacon of hope for those battling cancer and their families. His foundation provides financial grants to researchers working to improve our odds against the disease, individuals stricken with cancer, and survivors of the disease that are advocates for survivorship issues in their communities. I really like the Japanese language, as it has words that describe a whole world of meaning. Like Shoganai. It literally means: ‘It cannot be helped’. That’s life, get used to it. Shoganai sums up a lot of the Japanese culture and way of thinking: if things cannot be helped, then accept it and move on. Shoganai is a set of Brush fonts: a thinner, script font and a heavy display font. Use if for book covers, product packaging and more. If you can’t use it, then, well, Shoganai.

Lifeform is a modern display font created as a result of my experiments on the forms of letters. While working on the font, I had ambivalent feelings, on the one hand I liked the individual curved lines, on the other hand they seemed very strange, alien and illogical. It was like looking into a microscope and seeing something strange. I wanted to develop and study these forms as something new, because I had never seen anything similar before. The result is a contrasting font that has both curves and sharp, and smooth lines that resemble some kind of organic matter. The font is well suited for large headlines, posters and covers. Its strange design catches the eye and will not leave the viewer indifferent.

I've always admired the work of Rudolph Koch. Culpepper is what I think Neuland would have looked like if it had been developed with lowercase, small caps and a range of weights. I started work on this series in the late 80’s and, like so many of my ideas, it was shelved when life drew me in another direction. Culpepper is the name of one of the islands in the Galapagos chain.

Say hello to Boyish & Weird! (I actually don't know what boyish is, but I do like how that word looks with these letters.) I had a lot of fun making this weird little font. It has oval cutouts, heavy lines, and plenty of whimsical details.

A Lost Art Deco Style Reborn and Multiplied Rhumba began as a digitization of a film typeface from LetterGraphics in the early 70's known as "Barrio Lined". Originally only a single typeface, represented by our Rhumba Lined style, it was fun and offered more diversity to expand out the styles of this gem. Collateral Damage is a classic splatter font from the earlier days of the internet. A consistent fan favorite since its initial release in 1999, this ink-dripping font was inspired by the gonzo art of Ralph Steadman. It looks hand-painted, like graffiti. Or crazy scary, like splattered blood. It was made by designer Chris Hunt who lives in the Canadian North with the polar bears. Criteria CF is a geometric sans, efficiently built from lines and circles. Its strong, thoughtful construction allows for cleanly-stacked lowercase text and stunning headlines and logotypes. Criteria CF pairs nicely with any serif. Typefaces designed for body copy, such as Artifex CF and Addington CF, are a great match. It also looks great with bold display serifs like Wayfinder CF, or a humanist sans, like Artifex Hand CF. OpenType Layout features: stylistic alternates, localized forms, uppercase-sensitive forms, oldstyle figures, lining figures, arbitrary fractions, superscript, subscript. Consolas is intended for use in programming environments and other circumstances where a monospaced font is specified. All characters have the same width, like old typewriters, making it a good choice for personal and business correspondence. The improved Windows font display allowed a design with proportions closer to normal text than traditional monospaced fonts like Courier. This allows for more comfortable reading of extended text on-screen.
