A completely isolated letters typeface design with an overall Hebrew look and feel. Glyphs were designed with an emphasis on isolation and vertical feel with a visual connectivity measure to help easy reading. The Ibrani (Arabic for Hebraic) font family has two members, regular and left-slanted italic styles. This font family design follows the guidelines of Mutamathil Taqlidi type style with one glyph for every basic Arabic Unicode character or letter, as defined in the latest Unicode Standards, and one additional final form glyph, for the freely-connecting letters in traditional Arabic cursive text. Ibrani employs variable x-height values. It includes only the Lam-Alif ligatures. Soft-vowel diacritic marks, harakat, are selectively positioned. Most of them appear by default on the same level, following a letter, to ensure that they would not interfere visually with letters. Tatweel is a zero-width glyph. Keying the tatweel key before Alif-Lam-Lam-Ha will display the Allah ligature. Ibrani includes both Arabic and Arabic-Indic numerals, in addition to standard punctuations.

Steampipe is a font constructed of bits and pieces, reminiscent of the ironwork construction of the Crystal Palace or the inner workings of The Time Machine. Although it works fine as is, it comes alive with some Photoshop Layer Styles. Steampipe has the most extensive kerning of any font I've designed, just so (most) letters fit together as if they were constructed as a unit; use them in a program that supports special kerning.

QuickType is a typeface I designed for demonstration purposes. I used it to illustrate my first book about type design. It has crooked slab serifs and looks very much like a typewriter font. But in order to make things clear I had to overdo some curves and so QuickType turned out a very distinct typewriter typeface. Since those days I worked on the shapes from time to time, so it got better and I extended it to include several neccessary cuts. Now it is a full fledged very usable font. My goal in designing Zentral was to create a distinctive sculptural font intentionally in Regular and Italic only. I believe Zentral Regular and Italic has the latitude and flexibility needed in most type scenarios without having to resort to multiple weights. Zentral Regular upper/lowercase provides a very pleasant contrast and can be varied by using Zentral Regular capitals. Zentral Italic is ideal for creating emphasis of words, quotes or phrases.
