The typeface was designed at ParaType (ParaGraph) in 1993 by Tagir Safayev. This font was inspired by the Cancellaresca pattern (look at our 1491 Cancellaresca and 1610 Cancellaresca), in particular Spanish one, from Francisco Lucas, who was working in the late 1500s.
