Punch Tape JNL emulates the old-style pin-punched paper tapes that were used in everything from ticker tapes to moving electronic signage to early digital typesetting equipment. Pin punch characters were also used in the early days of banking as a secure way of canceling a check so that it was rendered useless if re-submitted. In this version, the "dots" are square rather than round.

Grava is Neil Summerour’s injection of warmth within the geometric sans font category. Historically, geometric sans families have been based on primal shapes — triangle, circle, square — and the more closely they held to those rigid rules, the more internal inconsistencies they showed. Angles won’t match up correctly, letters will lean, overshoots complicate clean typesetting, and idealized circles become grotesque and unwieldy in some weights. Because of issues like these, geometric sans fonts have a reputation of being cold, austere, even a bit “off”. Grand Slam is based on an old cardwriting style known as Poster Gothic. This dynamic letterstyle was used in the heyday of the Hollywood movie poster because of its powerful and snappy appeal. The face is of uniform thickness and made as wide as possible without interfering with legibility. Its vertical strokes seem to be thickened slightly where normal serifs would be. It is interesting to note that another group of tiny little serifs populate the entire design. Grand Slam comes with a complete set of alternates including small caps and small figures. A lowercase has been added for greater versatility. Grand Slam is now available in the OpenType format. In addition to small caps, lining figures, oldstyle figures, petite lining figures, and swashes, this expanded OpenType version contains some new stylistic alternates. “Miau” is a display typeface designed by “Cuchi, ¡qué Tipo”! (Hey, what a type!”). Its name comes from the onomatopoeia of "Meow" in Spanish, and it is only to be used for letters or single words. It is built from the basic skeleton of cursive script letters, and its origin and main concept is based on experimenting with shapes that play the limit of readability. Being a variable format typeface, we have from the thinnest and lightest version ("Hiss"), to the thickest, dense and compact ("Purr"), passing through the average ("meow"). The final result of this experimentation is defined into a very contemporary typeface with a geometric, modular and “no-terrestrial” flavour. It aims to be a representation of the times we live about typographic design, a whole explosion of implausible experiments and formals researches.

Mirabel is based on the handwriting of Beverly Bouwsma (Philip's mother), which she developed in the 1930s in, as she puts it, an act of teenage rebellion. In the 1960s, Philip gave her a broad-edged Osmiroid fountain pen which she took to immediately and has used ever since, along with the computer fonts he made from her script. Since Beverly Bouwsma mixed loops and straight ascenders, two interchangeable fonts have emerged, a formal package that sacrifices some flamboyance for classical balance and legibility, but retains the quality of the writing and celebrates the personality of its creator. Based on that research, font designer Chatnarong Jingsuphatada created a design whose main purpose is to perform equally well in as many environments as possible.
