Nudista is a monolinear, geometric sans-serif based on the proportions of the Purista typeface, released in 2007. The forms are not based strictly on square shape, but rather on a pleasant oval, round shape. The letter outlines are smooth, even technicist, the geometric precision is however compensated in places where it would get in the way of legibility and compromise the desired visual impact. Nudista was originally conceived as a display type, but it is sufficiently legible even in text sizes. Thus, it suits short texts in corporate prints. Carefully chiselled letter curves are sturdy and well suited for the harsh conditions of low-resolution printing devices, they work well on computer screens and mobile phone displays. However, Nudista works best in corporate systems, navigation and orientation systems, where it may be, also thanks to the sufficient range of weights, a good alternative to the well-known and thus a little overused DIN. Naked typeface with no needless decorations humbly serves in all places where too expressive types could be disturbing.

Vernon’s inspiration came while researching and investigating a 'legible' typeface design for tangible purpose. The main characteristics of ‘Vernon’ can be seen in the slightly modulated strokes that reference the natural and friendly humanist proportions of the humanist hand, with open interior letterspace characteristics. The subtle detailing and finishing of strokes and junctions – seen in the curved tail of the lowercase ‘l’ and the head serif of the lowercase ‘i’, create a smooth rhythm along the baseline. Utilizing the ‘contextual alternative’ feature of OpenType, Vernon substitutes select characters in words with word-shapes that may cause visual confusion to some readers. Vernon uses subtle character differentiation in the detailing of the inner-shape / counter space from similar letter shapes (for example: ‘p’, ‘d’, ‘g’ and ‘q’) to assist in creating the contextual alternate designs. Vernon is recommended for use as a text typeface, as it performs well at small text sizes (12 point size and below) intended for continuous reading of printed instructional and presentational information, especially where an inclusive audience demographic is required.

Isabel Condensed and Isabel were made out of necessity to create a new font for children and teenagers, that could be enough friendly and versatile for text in words or even easy-to-read long texts. The purpose of Isabel is to combine all the nice and friendly features of the simple letters that the teachers teach to the pupils at primary school, as they starting to learn to read, together with the normal editorial fonts we read every day. In this way it generates a very joyful serif font, or even friendly font, with some conservative aspects. In other words, Isabel is a font that, despite of being a “classic features” typography, is proud to show its innocent and ingenuous elements, this gives to the font a new point of view. Abdo Rajab is the second version of the font FS Rajab which was designed by the type designer Abdulsamiea Rajab Salem for Future Soft company fonts. It is a leading company in Arabization field and producing the Arabic and Islamic programs beside the children programs. This font appeared between 1998 and 2000. In this version there were a lot of adjustments to keep the font in its spirit and uniformity between the various characters. Also added some new characters, which gave him another beautiful addition to be used in both title and text designs. Three weights (Regular, light and bold) have been created. Then the font was converted to OpenType to support Arabic, Persian and Urdu to be compatible with the various operation systems and modern software. Trovoada Mono is a monospaced font for use in print (but also looks great on display). Hand-drawing glyph by glyph, my intention was to get that old manual typewriter look, with uneven inks, but with a totally up-to-date, emotional and admittedly humorous attitude. Trovoada Mono borrows from classics like Courier and Letter Gothic, reinventing serifs here and there. The result is a font that is both familiar and unusual. As I love Greek typography, I made sure to include a full polytonic alphabet, in the same vintage spirit: the text looks very legible and matches the Latin characters. The font has no kerning, obviously, and no ligatures (this is a typewriter, my friend!), but it has important OpenType features: fractions, subscripts/superscripts, slashed zero and stylistic alternatives for some characters. The italics are 11 degrees, which brings a strong personality. Some characters have true italics, giving the text an overall texture different from the upright type. All that is missing is that nervous typewriter noise. Enjoy!

What began as an all Capitals specimen has been fleshed out to an extended full character set with many features and variants from the original design. Bazaruto has been an exercise in typographic evolution. The original Art Deco style spawned an Engraved version, then a Bodoni-esque text style, and then a monoline version of that text style (both of the latter complete with Obliques). But after that is when the real interpretations of form began with the development of the Iron fonts, playing off the original specimen having a visual flavor of wrought ironwork in them, and blending that into the Bodoni-esque typestyles. Lastly, a fast and loose hand drawn version of the Iron fonts and an ornaments font were created to add more variety and spunk to the family. The Bazaruto family is a visual grab bag of styles which all have an underlying harmony.

Isabel SemiCondensed, together with Isabel condensed and Isabel were made out of necessity to create a new font for children and teenagers, that could be enough friendly and versatile for text in words or even easy-to- read long texts. The purpose of Isabel is to combine all the nice and friendly features of the simple letters that the teachers teach to the pupils at primary school, as they starting to learn to read, together with the normal editorial fonts we read every day. In this way it generates a very joyful serif font, or even friendly font, with some conservative aspects. In other words, Isabel is a font that, despite of being a “classic features” typography, is proud to show its innocent and ingenuous elements, this gives to the font a new point of view. The family is composed of 3 parts: the regular version, the italic version and the unicase version. Each one of them has 5 weights. The italic version has 825 characters; the regular and unicase have 739 and are composed for 220 latin languages, plus cyrilic.

XKANZ SQ is a blockier, more rigid variant of a previous font: XKANZ. It's a futuristic, robotic, variable display font geared towards cyberpunk poster text, cover text, and futuristic UI. It can easily shine as both as header and body. Wide glyphs, high weight and corner contrast, and "connectors" that bridge the gap between the stems, it's this mix of elements that give XKANZ its unique look. Argentinean designer Eduardo Manso created the Bohemia type family in 2003. Bohemia's cunning and elegant essence shows off refined letters that evoke the Transitional style typefaces like Baskerville, though most Baskerville-like designs tend not to be as curvaceous as Manso's! True to form, Bohemia shines in smaller text sizes, like 9 point and above, while still maintaining a unique character and spirit. Bohemia is a great alternative to better-known text faces. The critics have been raving. Bohemia came to Linotype via its fourth International Type Design Contest (ITDC) [Link] in 2003, where it received one of the three top awards. Under the name Argot, this typeface received a Certificate of Excellence in Type Design from the Type Directors Club of New York in 2004. Bohemia was also selected for inclusion in the 21st International Biennale of Graphic Design 2004 in Brno, Czech Republic, and was later named one of the most relevant works in the Bienal Letras Latinas 2004 exhibition, which traveled through Buenos Aires, San Paolo, Santiago, and Vera Cruz."

Raqmi was designed as a serif like font with relatively uniform glyph thicknesses, perfect simplified straight lines and curves, and emphasized isolated letters. This font family supports all Arabetic scripts covered by Unicode 6.1, and the latest Arabic Supplement and Extended-A Unicode blocks, including support for Quranic texts. It includes two weights: regular and light, each of which has normal and left-slanted Italic versions. The script design of this font family follows the Arabetics Mutamathil Taqlidi style utilizing varying x-heights. The Mutamathil Taqlidi type style uses one glyph per every basic Arabic Unicode character or letter, as defined by the Unicode Standards, and one additional final form glyph, for each freely-connecting letter of the Arabic cursive text. Raqmi includes the required Lam-Alif ligatures in addition to all vowel diacritic ligatures. Soft-vowel diacritic marks (harakat) are selectively positioned with most of them appearing on similar high and low levels—top left corner—, to clearly distinguish them from the letters. Tatweel is a zero-width glyph.

Absalon has square letter shapes. It has some characteristics semi-sharp and semi-rounded corners and it has a relatively tall x-height for legible text. To create the perfect typesetting the spaces between individual letter forms has been precisely adjusted. The Absalon font family is perfect for the web as well as for print, for display as well as longer text, for motion graphics, on the side of a van, t-shirts, logotypes and so on. The font family consist of 5 weights or 10 styles and it has 410 glyphs. A total of more than 4000 glyphs. He was a key figure in the founding of Copenhagen, the Capital of Denmark.

Chercán is a spirited typeface created with a delicate sense of how readability doesn't need to be dull. Chercán is the Chilean name for the melodious little bird Troglodytes aedon usually found all across the Americas.
