Musical Prelude JNL is a thin Art Deco typeface with some interesting character shapes, and was inspired by the hand lettering on the cover of the 1933 sheet music for "Blue Prelude" by Gordon Jenkins and Joe Bishop. It is available in both regular and oblique versions.

A Blocky Geometric Techical typestyle Modulate began as a digitization of a film typeface from LetterGraphics in the early 70's known as "Cadence". Three of the four letters of the name “Jane” on the cover of a vintage piece of sheet music inspired So Nouveau JNL. The free-form swoops emulating the pen lettering of the early 1900s adds a nostalgic charm to this typeface.

Gothic capitals of the same form as Copperplate Gothic, lacking only the oversharpened corners.

Lasta is small serif font family with simple elegant shapes, refreshing Italics and poetic endings. Containing 2 weights and 2 italics, with lower x-height which brings more air (empty space, white space...) into paragraphs making text more graceful and legible. Thin serifs bring small touch of dynamic into letter forms, just enough to bring specific tone to paragraph. A June 18, 1929 issue of the Hollywood trade paper “The Film Daily” ran an ad for a film called “The Power House”. The film’s title was hand lettered in an extra bold sans serif design with strong Art Deco influences. This is now available digitally as Deco Power JNL in both regular and oblique versions.

Usually I prefer desserts that aren't overly sweet, but a week ago I lost my sense of tasting - due to Corona, and when I wanted something sweet...I preferred it overly sweet...of course because I hardly could taste the overwhelming sweetness! But now, I have my sense of tasting (and smelling!) back, and everything is back to normal. And since I completed this easy-recipe-inspired handmade font while suffering from Corona, I thought I'd name it Overly Sweet. And...well. because, the font is somewhat overly sweet (without being over the top sweet!)

The ornamented and magnificent type design used with the color plates of Owen Jones' “The Grammar of Ornament” has served as a model for this nineteenth century typeface. Astoria Antique possesses an intricate and spidery-like quality. Its v-shaped wedge endings make it look like something straight out of an old curiosity shop. In addition, lowercase letters have been added for design convenience. Astoria Antique will make a great choice whenever a period or Victorian look is desired. Astoria Antique is also available in the OpenType Std format. Some new characters have been added to this OpenType version. Advanced features currently work in Adobe Creative Suite InDesign, Creative Suite Illustrator, and Quark XPress 7. Check for OpenType advanced feature support in other applications as it gradually becomes available with upgrades.

The design approach from this humanist sans-serif is much more simple and neutral than Lisboa Tamil (lacks the hook-head terminals). Latin transliteration characters were also included.

The idea of symmetry came to me when I was lookig for a geometric sans font. None of the things that I found did have the mathematically perfect symmetry. So, I went ahead and created one. I have used complex mathematical equations to get the perfect angle in every letter. Diameter comes with two styles square corner and rounded corner, each with regular and bold weights.

ITC Mattia is a typeface with an edge. It's nervous, tense, and a little disquieting, with twisted characters that are more scrawls than lettering. The opening titles and credits of the 1947 film comedy “The Egg and I” were done in a hand lettered casual sans serif typeface which inspired the digital font Egg Farm JNL; available in both regular and oblique versions. “The Egg and I” introduced audiences to Ma and Pa Kettle as portrayed by Marjorie Main and Percy Kilbride, who went on to do a number of additional films as those characters.
