Electrónica font family has been designed for Graviton Font Foundry by Pablo Balcells in 2019. It is a rounded, geometric sans serif typeface with display details and sharp, playful shapes for a fun and laid back usage. Electrónica has been conceived to be most suitable for logos, headlines and display design pieces as well as short length text blocks. Electrónica consists of 12 styles, 8 of which containing small caps and glyph coverage for several language and 4 of which are free.

Zushboy is a ragged verion of my own tagging style (even though it has been years and years since I did a thing like that!). The font is spaced tight in order to copycat a real homeboy's handwriting! Yo!

Moderna is a sans serif family inspired in simplicity of Modernism. Its contruction neutral and clean has been especially designed for short texts, headlines, logos and branding. With sixteen variants includes unicase version, some alternate characters, arrows and labels.

Initially created as a less quirky alternative to GillSans Schoolbook, Fiendstar has been developed into a family of widths, weights and styles. High legibility makes it suitable for signs and school books, especially for readers with poor reading ability.

Say hello to the Editor's Note Family, an editorial serif display that includes 16 fonts, regular and italic, from Hairline weight to Bold, and still has all the clean lines, tight curves, and trendy minimalist vibes! I've been loving the clean, editorial type trend happening in design right now (let's be real, there's always a place for timeless editorial type). Editor's Note is a stunningly crisp upper and lowercase typeface that looks incredible in both large settings as a display text (think big headers, pretty quotes, calls to action, etc.). I've been loving combining the regular and italic, especially in big, bold quotes.

Normally, a short paragraph or two on this page tells the backstory to a font design. In this particular case, that story has been lost to time. Whatever the original source – whether a vintage bit of typography or an original idea – the beginnings of this font lay unfinished for quite a while as it was perceived to duplicate another previous release. However, after recently checking a sample of the design against other Jeff Levine Fonts, it’s reasonably certain this type face may have similar characteristics, but can stand on its own merit. That said, Clean Deco JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Loose is a hand-drawn font with a slightly sloppy yet relaxed look. All glyphs have been handcrafted by illustrative designer Zeptonn. It contains lots of Open Type goodness to ensure you'll be able to give your entire text that random and handcrafted feeling. It's great for setting fun text for headers, posters or cards. Or hey, you could use it as a nice alternative for something that starts with "Comic" and ends with "Sans"! The typeface contains nice takes on traditional standard ligatures, a few discretionary ligatures and even provides contextual and stylistic alternates. String Theory has been a 10+ year project in the making which originated from a type workshop in Graduate School at Otis College of Art & Design. The workshop was hosted by Dutch designer Hansje Van Halem, and we were tasked to play with string to create letterforms. Thus String Theory was born, and slowly migrated from yarn, to an illustrator file, to what it is today as a type family. Each glyph has it’s own custom string set up, along with each weight. Experimental in nature, edgy, with subliminal angst and grittiness.

If you take the South Shore Line from Chicago to South Bend, your train will pass though the small community of Beverly Shores, Indiana. The beautifully restored and highly colorful “Beverly Shores” train station sign not far from the Lake Michigan beach is the source of inspiration for this connecting script typeface. The sign’s existing ten letters have now been extended to include the entire alphabet. This old-fashioned depot letterstyle is much in the spirit of such faces as Fulton Sign and Inserat Cursive. Ascenders and descenders have been lengthened and capitals are now much larger. Alternate lowercase swashes, capitals, and small figures have been included for your convenience. And custom uphill words such as “The,” “for,” and “to” have been added for more novelty and spark in headline settings. Beverly Shores Script with Alternates is also available in the OpenType Std format. Some new characters including old style figures have been added to this OpenType version. Advanced features currently work in Adobe Creative Suite InDesign, Creative Suite Illustrator, and Quark XPress 7. Stencil typefaces are popular because they are striking and decorative, and their associations - whether Utility, Travel, Vernacular, etc - are evocative. Anostencil is developed from, but not exactly like, our Ano typeface. Ano’s geometric skeleton, tweaked a bit, allows for a level of abstraction while retaining legibility. Some of Ano’s characters, such as the a, e, f and r, have been amended to make clearer, more graphic shapes when the stencil design has been applied. Different application of the stencil gaps in the letters make functional but decorative and expressive linear forms. This is particularly evident in Anostencil’s extended character set which features codified, semi abstract shapes. So the stencil design in Anostencil has been applied in not necessarily the most logical or immediate way, but in a way that makes each letter a striking and graphic shape.

In his book Showcard Alphabets, Dan X. Solo called this little gem "Whitestone Scrawl". This version is beefed up slightly and the letter proportions have been altered somewhat, but it's still LOADS of fun. The Opentype version of this font supports Unicode 1250 (Central European) languages, as well as Unicode 1252 (Latin) languages.

Loopkin is a new display font from Ben Burford Fonts. It's a stylistic take on the classic modern serif font that has been a staple in high fashion publications for decades. Moscovium is a radioactive, synthetic element about which little is known. It is classified as a metal and is expected to be solid at room temperature. It decays quickly into other elements, including nihonium. The element had previously been designated ununpentium, a placeholder name that means one-one-five in Latin. Element 115

Berto is a variable monoline font face. With two stylistic sets it is flexible in usage either for display or for reading matters. It was specially drawn for a corporate design in 2011, and since then has been continuously rebuilt and extended to a font family with five weights and a variable font.

Harpsichord (as I have named it) is from the late 1940s and was designed at Lucian Bernhard Studios in New York for Bernhard's Magnetype Collection. It was originally published as 'Community Low' along with 'Community Condensed'. Many of his Magnetype Fonts have been dormant which I hope to revive in the near future.

Endymion is a Tuscan display face that speaks of traditional fairgrounds and circuses, or 19th century poster design and even of the wild west. Its name derives from its ogee curves, which have been likened to the bluebell (Endymion) flower. Bring a sense of lively fun to your next design with Endymion.

The hand lettered name “Chickland” from a 1958 restaurant menu cover was actually a throwback to the Art Deco style with its condensed thick and thin sans serif design. With just a few available letters to work with, it has been turned into Counter Service JNL; available in both regular and oblique versions.

Qonora is an innovative new sans-serif text face that combines flowing, almost calligraphic strokes with a post-modern sensibility for a look that works as well on the printed page as it does on screen. Its comfortable proportions and no-nonsense streamlining (note the lack of spurs, serifs or any unnecessary ornamentation) make it an excellent choice for legibility even at very small point sizes. Qonora includes a true italic, drawn independently from the Roman. Strokes for the italic have been re-weighted to complement the Roman, and idiosyncratic italic glyphs have been substituted where appropriate. The typeface’s extensive Hebrew implementation (including diacritics and cantillation marks) is an important part of its character. The Latin, Cyrillic and Greek ranges of the face maintain a consistent ethic of form and function.

Bella Copia is a font dedicated to the world of childhood, to the writing of primary school children, but can also be used to compose texts or express essential concepts. It can be used for food, fashion, logos and much more. The clarity in the sign wants to express simplicity and immediacy. As far as possible, what is "not needed" has been taken away from individual glyphs. In the illustrations an attempt has been made, by combining images with fonts, to express the concept of cleanliness, simplicity and clarity. It is composed of 314 glyphs to try to embrace as many languages as possible.

Nylon is an interpretation of pre-16th century letterforms, in particular those found in mediaeval portraits at the National Gallery, London. The source material contains many unusual and manic shapes—it appears as if these classical forms have, over time, become perverted, almost demonic. Draylon is the more restrained counterpart to Nylon; it is based on letterforms found on 18th century ceramics—some 200 years after the source material of Nylon. Nylon and Draylon have been designed so that they can be mixed together with ease. Both typefaces have been drawn with a kind of crude digital awkwardness—acknowledging the tool of the present moment, the computer, in the design process.

I was playing around with an old brush I found in our kitchen: it had fallen under the stove and it had probably been hiding there for quite some time! I dusted it off, got my Chinese ink and set to work. The result is a scary-ish font. Mortal Coil comes with discretionary ligatures for double lower case letter combinations.

Cuckoo Fast was first seen in 1988 (with Cuckoo and Cuckoo Fat) when I painted on a record shop's window. Since then this hand lettered font has been there and done that. Cuckoo Fast was hand drawn on an angle, not software slanted. It has a character all its own, giving a sense of speed, urgency, or bargains whenever it is applied.

Sodra is a wide-accented antiqua with sharp serifs and hints of futuristic forms. This typeface emerged from a passage in the Manifesto del Futurismo by Filippo Tommaso Marinetti. One short word was the inspiration and the guidance for the creation of this font. An attempt to create something unique and distinctive, an attempt to add a bit of futurism to something historical. The special aesthetics and expressiveness the type conveys will make you look closely at each letter and draw attention to your design. The font has been in development for a long time and painstaking work has been done on it. Large language support, about 470 characters and almost 4,000 kerning pairs. Fractul is a geometric sans with architectural qualities. Built from the Konnect family, this typeface introduces even more unique and display oriented design details, which you'll see in characters like a, f, g, t, y, etc. where certain strokes have been straightened for an angular and modern appearance.
