Rukou originated as a logo for a fashion designer. The idea was to make a fusion of a geometric typeface with the flavour of childish features. Rukou was inspired by school hand-writing models, but adds very specific and interesting features to it. Rather than focusing on readability, the primary goal was to have a unique type texture. This is the reason why lowercase is disconnected. The disconnected letters opened the possibility to create the special shapes for individual letters. The typefaces consist of two different styles inside one font. You can choose to set your titles in uppercase, or lowercase/titlecase. As each style has a slightly different texture, there is the opportunity to combine them in interesting ways. The uppercase can even be set in small paragraphs

Linotype Quasaria is part of the Take Type Library, selected from contestants of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. The font was designed by German artist Armin Retzko and the characters are composed of disjointed pieces. The eye tries to complete the symbols into the forms they are used to. Linotype Quasaria with its unique forms is intended exclusively for headlines and displays.

Linotype Cerny is part of the Take Type Library, selected from the contestants of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. Dutch artist Mark van Wageningen designed an alphabet consisting exclusively of capital letters. The font’s most distinguishing characteristic is its irregular outer contour, almost as though they were ripped out of paper. Linotype Cerny is intended exclusively for headlines in larger point sizes.

Linotype Konflikt is part of the Take Type Library, which features winners of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contest from 1994 to 1997. Designer Stefan Pott was inspired by the conflict between the appearance of a typeface in print and on a computer screen. Out of this conflict came a font in which every character has aspects of both flowing handwriting and angular pixel-like strokes.

Linotype Supatropic is part of the Take Type Library, chosen from the entries of the Linotype-sponsored International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. This fun font from German designer Isabell Laxa is generously decorated with delicate flower silhouettes which are reminiscent of Asian flower chains and subtropical flora. Linotype Supatropic is meant exclusively for headlines in point sizes of 18 or larger.

Celdum, a modern geometric type family, constructed from a rectangular grid. Smooth, precise curves meet horizontal and vertical lines to create a monoline design with no apparent contrast. Each letter shape has unique subtleties creating a purposeful type family suited to text and branding scenarios within mobile applications, video games and other interactive software. Details include six weights with italics, 460 characters, five variations of numerals, manually edited kerning and Opentype features.

Hleba Soli Ziamli Voli typeface is a graphic discovery on title type that combines traditional poster shapes with Humanist notes from Renaissance. Hleba Soli Ziamli Voli is named after Belarus poem by Yanka Kupala and inherits some original glyph designs from Renaissance printings by Francisk Skoryna. Hleba Soli Ziamli Voli due to wide variety of weights is great for titles and posters. Cyrillic and Latin support makes the type sutable for multilingual communications.

I designed “Mirror Font” with the idea that it could function as standard font but it also can function as a creative tool to create interesting letter form logos and titles. GR Milesons | Artdeco Typeface Milesons is a very interesting font, which has been inspired by Art Deco art. It is formed from very careful lines with stylistic set and ligature features. Milesons has 300+ glyphs consisting of three styles: Milesons One, Milesons Two and Milesons Three. Suitable for any graphic design projects, prints, logos, posters, t-shirts, packaging and applicable for some types of graphic design. Milesons is compatible with any software without any pain.

After visiting Milan, I stumbled upon the Sforza castle, and found some interesting type on the inner courtyard castle walls. I became inspired by what I found, and decided to design a typeface based off of the limited quirky letterforms. Thus Sforza was born, with ligatures galore, alternates, pictograms, and swooshes. Sforza is a roman style typeface with a quirky flair. It has loads of ligatures, nested letterforms, and tails and swooshes for endless combinations.

Invertigo is an experimental font mainly for designers who love to play with type as you will see in my examples. There are many alternate letters for you to work with, and I will be creating new characters which I will add to Invertigo from time to time. If you purchase Invertigo, you will receive updates at no additional charge. It also makes an interesting looking setting somewhere between contemporary and futuristic.

Australis is a hybrid roman font that won first prize in the Morisawa International Type Design Competition in 2002. After 10 years the family is finally complete and its release coincides with the reopening of the competition in 2012, in Japan. Designed by Francisco Gálvez Pizarro.

Charlatan is (despite the name!) a truly trustworthy font. Works well with everything that needs something legible and handmade! Langston is an original design by Alex Kaczun. It’s part of a series of lettering experiments, manipulating body proportions, characteristic elements and spacing to achieve some dramatic visual effects. It is hard to characterize if Langston is an outline or inline font. The outline has the same thickness and proportions as the stems. And the inter-letter spacing is also visually similar. This creates a dynamic and interesting visual harmony throughout. Furthermore, certain design elements like the accents and punctuation symbols, break with the outline treatment, and morph into an interesting play between inline and outline. Way before the Internet took over as a popular information source, it was the morning, afternoon or evening edition of a paper that presented the big story of the day.
